For receiving money from your father, the document to attach is a gift deed as a sign of his commitment or .

A receipt, is issued as evidence of payment for a service or an item. So, if you called it a receipt on your SOP, most of these Canadian visa officers won't interpret it as what you meant on your SOP.

If yes, did u demonstrate relationship between yourself and sponsor satisfactorily to prove the funds will be accessible to your through the duration of your studies?
Did you include an affidavit of sponsorship?
Did you include the sponsor source of income?
Did u include your own bank statement?
If you are self sponsored, did you have lump sums in your bank statement that were not explained?

Yes, I did. I self sponsored. There was a lump sum from my father and was fully explained in the SOP. Can I share my SOP ? I am not sure what I could have missed. My heart is heavy

Hello everyone, pls i urgently need ur advise. I applied for my study permit in November, did biometrics and have not heard from IRCC since then. Classes in my school (Mohawk College) have already started and so i am in the process of deferring to the May'22 intake. My questions are:

1) Should my deferral be approved, do i go ahead to the new LOA using webform or should i wait g
for them to request? Would they even request? ( not sure how this aspect works)

2) I am planning to do an upfront Medicals and along with the new LOA i am expecting, is this a good idea?

3) I have heard that ing additional documents especially unsolicited ones could slow down the whole approval, how true is this please?
