Job harzard. Patience is key because the deed has already been done, most men later find their way back home after getting their documents.

I don't understand this logic.
How else does a country prosper without 'going abroad to conquer it'. There is not country on earth hat prospered internally.

From antiquity empires rose to fame and wealth by extending territory, trading or coercing their way to the riches therein.

The old world did it to establish legacy wealth mainly in Europe by first slave trade and then total colonial rule. They built 'bridges', railways and roads to exploit resources.

Modern day, post war tiger economies grow rich by trade. The exchange of goods and services with other nations.

So I cannot understand how anyone will discourage external interaction and hope to survive thoughtless of prospering. Even conservative and insular nations of the Middle East are opening up as they envision a post oil era.

What the government should be doing is giving leadership.and direction to the quest so citizens are guided on what is best for the country as a whole and her citizens, strongly advocation for fair treatment abroad and ensuring their host countries are protected from criminally minded people back home.

How on earth is the country going to earn foreign exchange without someone venturing beyond our shores one way or the other.

Very nice input, thanks for taking time to share it here.
You're vastly exposed and understand how the world has been working and still works unfortunately the Nigerian japa syndrome is different.

I encourage people to travel abroad,, unfortunately it still breaks my heart because our people end up doing jobs they wouldn't do back home but what can a man do when looking back is not an option.

Our harsh economy keeps chasing citizens abroad mostly for 1 reason, to eliminate poverty (Money) in exchange for low self worth and an unfulfilled life when the sun of life sets.

Whats the point? More like Western wedding not Christian wedding.

Convert it to dollars and see the worth of Nigerian currency at the moment.

650 dollars makes one a millionaire in Nigeria but the government and some people expect citizens not to travel abroad to make money in hard currencies.

You nailed it.
Many men don't realize how important respect is in marriage. It is everything. I guarantee you, a woman that doesn't respect you will definitely cheat on you.

You're both on point. Sometimes women pretend to be respectful before marriage.

Time. location, money and life can also make a once respectful woman to change.

I've seen almost perfect couples in Nigeria divorce or face crisis after relocating abroad.

There's no apology or remorse despite all the atrocities being committed.

You are right. One of the reasons Egypt is building a new capital from ground up is to prevent what happened that led to regime change. A way to protect future governments.

Nigeria did something similar when we moved the capital city from Lagos to Abuja. It was a way to shield governments from coups and the likes.

It kind of worked though as Nigeria has only experienced one coup since moving the capital to Abuja

Will you keep quiet. When and where did thousands of people die in Egypt due to protest from 2010 to 2015?

You people should be careful with spreading falsehood to look good.

Egypt have the lowest death rate compared to other Arab muslim countries during and after the Arab spring revolution and the protest was mostly peaceful.

I'm sure you don't know Egypt have over 30% Christian population and is miles ahead of Nigeria when it comes to power, engineering and technology.

Get a valid Netflix email and , mine is working very well.

If you know some one abroad, tell the person to help you get a Netflix and Hulu because it works better for me than using a Nigerian Netflix .

I am using it at the moment and my Netflix and prime videos are working.

Shocked to see its the Airtel tv thats not working because it refused to update to Airtel app latest version.

I'm really enjoying it but was told it's unlimited every month as long as I pay 20k for data, guess the seller lied to me.

It's like magic, like a simultaneous factory brain resetting trend amongst Igbos based outside the east.

A Lagos breed cousin of mine now residing in America never visited or liked the east that much when he was in Nigeria but he shockingly built a nice hotel in the village, not even in any Eastern capital.

He is developing the village and investing in real estate there, even planing to retire in the village from America.

So many Northern/Western born and brought up Igbos are now waking up to their true identity.

onumadu:
NO, thank you.

Question: What is 500% of nothing?
Answer: Nothing.

I rather have 2% of 5, than have 500% of nothing.

My happiness is that even the most "Lagos headed Igbo" have started to change their delusions.
One of them who owns significant investments in Lagos is today an ardent advocate of moving to the east.
He spends most of his time these days in the east.

After Aba is done under Alex Otti, we are likely to have an opportunity to build real IT and tech hubs in the east.

God bless you, you're a very wise woman. I when my brothers abandoned me to my fate and didn't give me a car because I was honest enough to tell one of my brother I can't do Uber with a Car he wanted to give me. Truth is don't feel ok driving with strangers and I had insomnia besides I should decide what to do with the Car because I'm not borrowing it. I stood my ground despite how bad I needed a Car, my bro said I have pride because I refused to sell chargers or do uber.

After some years I got a good SUV and still live a fulfilled life then hey realised it's very wrong to impose personal desires on people.

We should help people build their dreams and suggest, but not to impose our desires on them then ignore them if they do not agree before we become a negative destiny changer.

OneCandleAway:

What if his brain cannot carry IT or digital skills. Why not him in another area, maybe trade skill, or handwork. You don't force your desire on someone.

You can aswell get the car on hire purchase arrangement (indirectly though someone else but you'll be involved) for him and warn him to take the offer serious.

Black people subconsciously feel very inferior to other races and that is the truth but they open they mouth waaaa trying to consciously deny it.
If not your hatred for the Northerners, why why are comparing their culture to that of Saudi?
Must they drop their culture totally in order to look like the Saudi?

I'm not a Muslim or Northerner but I agree with you.
When will the west start wearing our native clothes and also embracing our cultures in their fashion shows?

If not for Islamic extremists, insecurity and bad politicians using religion as a tool for their selfish interests I would be staying/visiting and enjoying Northern Nigeria a lot due their modesty and beautiful culture.

Story for the gods. What's the reminder for in the first place?

It's like reminding a teacher to start teaching some students sitting at the back seat in same class with students in front.
