I want to convert the funds in my dollar to pounds, but PayPal won't let me do this. I created a Wise , but when it was time to put my dollar card details, it said cards from this country (Nigeria) are not accepted.

Please how do I navigate this?

Since your remittances/payment is in naira and not tied to your NI/UK . Nothing concerns HMRC.

Please keep it that way. Use 3rd party exchangers to convert your money to pounds if needed.

How about if the payment is sent to a dollar and later transferred to a UK with a 3rd party exchanger like PayPal or Lemonade?

Truly what God cannot do, does not exist! This journey started back in Oct 2021.My MA Applied to a school, was accepted, and UNILAG transcript was sent to them in Feb this year.

In March this year, MA eventually settled for a different school which has better ranking but transcript became an issue due to ASU strike. Eventually, we had to go to the old school to request for the transcript which we then sent to the new school. I must say that God has His ways of doing things because the ission to the new school would never have been possible otherwise.

No NSF was received.

Couldn’t find the IHS details for one of the children so I cancelled and filled a new application on 19th July. ( the IHS and Visa fees was automatically reversed to my GTB Dom on 24th of July)

I’m immensely thankful to everyone for your contributions on this page, I learnt a lot and it helped in crossing all the Ts and dotting the Is correctly.

In my experience, it isn't necessary/mandatory. In my case, I didn't call or email them. I just got a mail from TLS that my travel document was ready for collection.

However, if you want the safety/assurance of a paid call/mail, go ahead. There's no harm.

Flywire with Form_A is the cheapest means of paying tuition (known to me).

Flywire only charges £18 and they are about the fastest payment channel out there. When you now combine this low rate with our formA, then you've saved yourself a whole lot money and time.

There's a tuition payment guide that flywire sent to me on how to use formA. If interested, you can PM me so I can send it to your mail.

Online application – 14th/15th June (started around 11:30pm, so finished in the early hours of the next day).
Biometrics (Abuja TLS) – 27th June.
Application transferred to DMC – 27th June.
Application received by DMC – 27th June.
TLS collection mails (I don't know why they sent two, but they did) – 14th July.
port (with vignette) collected – 15th July.

2. Transcript.
3. IELTS test certificate (I could've used my WAEC result, but I had already written IELTS since February last year).
4. Tuberculosis test certificate.
5. My bank statement generated via Zenith Bank's mobile app (no stamp/seal/signature).

Even if you make some mistakes, as far as those mistakes are not grave, UKVI will rightly access you. After all, you're only human – and so are they. Well, I used Ecobank last week and I am already at disbursement level. The school already know how much left to complete your tuition and your CAS will state it. All you need to do is to fill form A and state the amount you want to pay and the direction you're paying to. NTU doesn't give invoice unless you have enrolled into the school. I called them last week spending about 2k airtime but nothing came out.
I decided to edit my cousin's payment letter as NTU adviced me to generate a pdf using the payment details from their website. I did and bank has confirmed it.
I advise you pay it. Your letter of Authorization will explain better what you're paying for.

I think that the total amount to be paid is on the ission letter too. Therefore you may choose to pay the remainder by accompany your form A with a letter explaining how you come about the amount you are requesting for.
......but as you said try to mail them at Ntu for more details, but I would suggest you call them for quick response.

How about someone that was given a scholarship (and has already paid the £3k advanced payment)? How can they go about paying the remainder of their tution with Form A without an invoice stating the remainder of the tuition?

PS. I intend to send NTU a message on Monday requesting for an invoice that highlights this. I genuinely hope they send me one, but if they don't, I want to have an idea of what I can use as evidence instead.
