MissRaine69:
average built woman. I have seen this description often enough on here and it got me wondering. Why the emphasis on skin tone? So my question is does colourism exist amongst Africans? Or those of African descendants? Do we practice discrimination? Why do we view darker skinned women as less desireable? Does it matter what her skin tone is? Women seem to be impacted more than men. As I am yet to see a description that specifies how dark or light skinned a man should be as a potential partner. Your thoughts are appreciated.
It's just a supposition. I do agree with the fact that in many occasions men seek out light-skinned ladies over dark-skinned ones but it's just a matter of choice and taste it's not like common to every man. I know a lot of guys who find light-skinned ladies very repulsive.

This is serious. While I do not divorce, staying in a relationship with an overtly abusive man is a dangerous game to play. Like it's normally said, the only way to win with a toxic person is not to play but unfortunately, the evil in the hearts of men can be concealed for as long as it's desired to entangle unsuspecting prey. Sincerely I really do not know what to advise but I'm more concerned about your little daughter. Children raised in such environments themselves turn out to be aggressive, unlovable and unkind. For now I think you do need to give him a space, find somewhere else to hold up for now, you can then try to appease him from a distance but most importantly make yourself independent of him especially financially so as to be able to cater for your needs as well as that of your daughter. May God give you strength to carry through.
