If this is true, I will advise Gift Orban to go play for Togo, his mum's country of birth. I hate nonsense. https://www.owngoalnigeria.com/2023/04/04/nff-move-to-blacklist-belgium-league-goal-monster-orban-from-super-eagles-for-shunning-u23-team/ 1 Like |

As far as we do not have a functional and consistent league, getting quality players for our age grade team will always be very difficult. It is not a rocket science. You need a well organized football league, the type that is not always interrupted by the league Management's or FA's politics or leadership crisis, a league that grooms and nurtures talents, a system that does not reward age cheats, where merit strives and players are chosen based on merit. I don't know how long it will take us to get there 2 Likes 1 Share |

fabyom:I will not call them failure. Coach Eguavon's team for instance, played the best attacking football I have watched from the Super Eagles for a decade or more. What the NFF and the fans fail to understand is that these Coaches need time to setup their team playing philosophy for the players to adapt. Give these Nigerian Coaches the right motivation and long term plan and see them produce results. The aim should not be to get results in the short run. The hundreds of millions we have wasted over these mushrooms foreign coaches with not corresponding results would have been better utilized if the team had been trusted into the hands of our local Coaches. You hire Nigerian Coaches today, pay them peanuts. The next 24months or less, you sack them to employ a foreign Coach who will reap us of thousands of Dollars with no meaningful result. Give Coach Eguavon and Siasia a contract of 5 years and the enabling environment let them give you results. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Atiku is another Fulani Presidential candidate with a ProFulani agenda. I pity those who are following blindly. He deleted the tweet he earlier made when his brothers murdered Deborah. Can you trust such a man? His stands on Anti-Open Grazing law is suspicious. 3 Likes |

IfnobeGod20: I don't think you replied the right person or probably you did not understand my comment. As a core "Obidient movement" addict, I love Rufai Oseni. No sincere Nigerian that loves the truth and progress of this nation will hate a ruthless journalist like Rufai. Those who don't like him or don't want to listen to him how he drills the lies out of APC/PDP will not get used to his interviews. Read my comment again to see that you really understood my post. Thank you. |

RingRoafia:You sound like Rufai Oseni of Arise TV. Oh I have become so used to your interviews and personality such that I can identify your writeups or anything written by you whether your name is attached or not. I read your reply but it rang in my Head as a speech than written words. As I read through, I saw you speak these words and not in written form in my subconscious mind. |

Morocco vs. Nigeria: Preview, prediction, h2h, player to watch as Atlas Lionesses hunt down Super Falcons The second semifinal of the 2022 Wafcon has thrown up an explosive clash between the impressive hosts and the experienced defending champions A ticket to Saturday’s final is up for grabs when Nigeria face Morocco later today in the semifinal of the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat. Both teams have already qualified for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup after making it to this stage of the competition. Very few things come close to lifting the ultimate trophy in the most significant female championship on the continent, though. And that would be the sole target of the two sides when they face off on Monday night. Match Preview As the most successful team at the Wafcon with a record nine titles, defending champions Nigeria need no introduction. They suffered a bumpy start in Morocco, losing their opening match to South Africa. But the coach Randy Waldrum-tutored ladies have not been found wanting since. Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum The Falcons carved out impressive victories over Botswana, Burundi, and Cameroon to maintain their record of reaching the final four of every edition of the Wafcon. Only on two occasions in 11 previous attempts have Nigeria failed to proceed to the final after getting to this stage of the competition. In Morocco, though, the Falcons meet a quality team capable of halting their momentum. The Atlas Lionesses have been one of the best teams at this championship, claiming wins in the four games played. The North Africans defeated Burkina Faso (1-0), Uganda (3-1), and Senegal (1-0) to top Group A and qualify for the knockout stages for the first time in history. They continued their run further into uncharted territory when they beat Botswana 2-1 in the quarterfinals. Led by Reynald Pedros, the French coach who guided Lyon to the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2018 and 2019, Morocco play some excellent football. https://www.google.com/amp/s/soccernet.ng/2022/07/morocco-vs-nigeria-preview-prediction-h2h-player-to-watch-as-atlas-lionesses-hunt-down-super-falcons.html/amp 2 Likes |

safarigirl:Okoye looks smarter, faster and very good with his ball distribution (better foot work). He's got great instincts that helps him prepare for some unplanned balls. Igo with Okoye. In the area of defense organisation, Uzoho seems to be ahead. Uzoho looks very confident too. 1 Like |

Subzero047:The freekick he executed in the closing stages of the game that got to Ndidi, who ed the ball backward in a tune to distabilize the squirrels' defense was artistically beautiful. I believe they must have put into practice that art in training before the match day. How the tricky method failed to result to a beautiful goal has not worn down the beauty of the freekick. |

You’re Wicked – Benin Republic Media Blast Super Eagles For Ending Their Eight Years Unbeaten Record At Home by Odabi Precious. ![]() The media In Benin Republic has tagged the Super Eagles as wicked and uncompromising for winning yesterday’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game 1-0. Prior to the game, the Nigerian team booked their spot at the next year tournament after Sierra Leone 0-0 draw with Lesotho but Benin Republic needed a draw to seal age. Their plan was one kick away from happening before Paul Onuachu strike with what was virtually the last kick of the game to hand Nigeria a 1-0 in the third and final minute of time added on. The goal also ended their unbeaten run at home which started since 2013 and has remained a source of pride to them in recent years. They were livid to lose it to a Nigerian team that has nothing at stake in the game. “ Wicked Super Eagles End Squirrels Unbeaten Run”, one newspaper headline reads. Another had it’s front page headline this way “ Uncompromising Eagles End Squirrels Record For Fun”. Highly respected Benin Republic media outlet La Nouvelle Tribune were also not left out tagging the Super Eagles as cruel for winning a game, which a draw would have seen both teams through. “But how cruel these Nigerians are! They maintained the suspense in a match where they did not force their talent. Because, opposite, Michel Dussuyer, the Beninese coach has aligned a defensive team as if the objective were a draw. A result which would have suited both teams”, a section of an editorial reads. https://www.thedabigal.com.ng/youre-wicked-benin-republic-media-blast-super-eagles-for-ending-their-eight-years-unbeaten-record-at-home/ 1 Like |
