I recently had the pleasure of working with @AutoConsult for the inspection of a new car I was considering purchasing. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He approached the inspection with a calm demeanor, which immediately put me at ease. His expertise was evident as he meticulously examined every aspect of the vehicle, from the engine to the interior features. What impressed me the most was his honesty. After the inspection, he provided a detailed report, highlighting both the strengths and any potential issues of the car. His transparency and willingness to answer all my questions gave me confidence in making an informed decision. If you need a reliable and honest car inspection, I highly recommend him. His professionalism and integrity are truly commendable. Thank you, @AutoConsult, for your outstanding service and God bless you! 1 Like |

Maj196: Thought process and quality of code distinguish a beginner from a professional. Not saying what the op is saying isn't possible but it'll give a lot of people false sense of reality about programming. I can easily grasp the basics of most PL in my domain in less than a week using tutorialspoint, and maybe additional 2 weeks to fully understand it using YT videos, but the main challenge is when you start to dive deeper into the framework. Every framework is different from each other and to be confident/get used to a new framework takes time and practise. You can build something, but nothing meaningful in your first month. But where i'll agree with the OP is, understanding basics, principles, and best pratices of your main language will make it easy to transition to another. |

Maj196: Yes, the basis will help to get you started, but the OP saying a programmer will understand a new PL to a professional level after a month is far-fetched. |

Workch: What do you mean by "to a professional level", you better stop deceiving people and yourself, i learnt kotlin in just a month but not to a professional level, i'm still learning till today, and the learning will never stop unless you want to be average, so stop capping. Assuming you mentioned dart or kotlin or even swift, it'd have made sense because they share similar syntax, but no way you'll learn and understand c++ or any other LLL in a month after starting with JS which is not even similar. And stop making emphasis on oop , there's more to programming than oop and basis, you didn't even mention clean architecture or data structure & algorithm, that's why we have half baked codes all over the place. |
