Doesn't seem the school named matters. My Tier 4 sponsor is a different school than the one on my TB certificate and got my visa

Very true. If after the TB certificate has been issued, and you changed your mind on the school, you will pay 8500 at the TB center to effect the changes. My own case is slightly different from yours, the school i applied to I haven’t gotten ission and I still proceeded to do the test with the school address now should in case the school disappoint I would have to pay to effect the changes that was the information I got from a staff.

Please I was informed I have to state the name of the school I'll be attending on the TB form for the test. Please how true is this? Because I'm hoping to get an offer from another school soon which I may consider.

Same chances. Once the main applicant meets the T4 requirements, has his/her documents as required by UKVI in the prescribed format and es the credibility test, it's easy peasy for the dependants whether they apply together or not since their applications are hinged on the main applicant's ability to secure a Visa.
