Without much esitation just after the launch of the Tecno L8 pahblet phone stucked with a mighty 5050 mAh battery, Tecno set to launch a re-modified version of the phone with name – Tecno L8 Plus. The Tecno L8 Plus offers double the RAM spotted on its predeccessor which translate to better performance with enhanced flexibility for multitasking. Other features spotted on the phone remains the same; same display size, mammoth battery pack, camera, internal storage and others.

Body & Display

The Tecno L8 Plus comes in a plastic body with curve edges for easy grip. The device has a dimension of 77.5 x 154 x 8.85 mm.

L8 Plus sports a 5.5-inch IPS display (720 x 1280 pixels) touchscreen raising expectation of great wide viewing angles and enhanced by a 267 ppi density resolution – still decent for a device like this.

Performance & Camera

A MediaTek Quad-Core processor clocking in at 1.3GHz runs the show on the Tecno L8. It offers a pair of 8.0MP rear camera with a led flash and a front facing snapper of just 2.0MP that may be of interest to some new selfie lover.

The smartphone has a built in storage of 16GB which can further be expanded up to 64GB using its microSD card slot. It also crams in 2GB of RAM that is reasonably fair for awesome performance.

Connectivity, Sensor& Others

Connectivity options for the Tecno L8 include 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity, Accelerometer and Com sensor. The phablet is accompanied by a large 5050mAh Li-Ion battery with fast charge and an ultra power-saving mode.

I was on my way home when i saw people runing here and there. I taught they have started their riot again. But i was wrong. It was a tanker loaded with fuel in one NNPC Mega station in Arguan Muazu Area, Kaduna South. 1 died and 4 seriosly injured.

In an event in Ikeja earlier today, Tecno Mobile unveiled the much awaited Boom J8 after weeks of teasers. The launch confirmed quite a lot of rumors about the device and dispelled some. Tecno Boom J8 is a mid-range device, an the Boom J7 released last year. Nigeria is a country rated among top countries with high fraudulent activities in Africa. It has high fraud activities back in 2014 and still counting. If you live in Nigeria, you might have witnessed many internet crimes also called cyber-crime. In fact, the Internet Crime Complaint Center in 2012 recorded over 250,000 complaints, while many people are too shy to disclose how they had fell for the Malaysia/South Africa email scam that took their hard earned money away and billions of dollars have also been lost by both individuals and companies all around the globe.



In a 1998 article by BBC News, titled "World: Middle East Internet Scam Offers Millions", Britain received approximately 50,000 scam letters. This letters came via the International Postal System. The article specifically stated, "Over the last 10 years, Nigeria has been the principal base for such scam offers with more than 50,000 scam letters were read in Britain by the beginning of this year".

Without wasting too much of our time going deeper, I will go straight to why I have decided to share this article with you people. It is simply because I do not want you to be a victim of this...

Trust me, many people believes no one can use their ATM Debit/Credit cards when they do not have access to their . You are very wrong and you must promise me to change that attitude this moment as you read this. HERE IS THE REAL GIST.



It was one faithful afternoon, it was so hot at my end. I was out with some friends when this message came in; my entire mind was that the message is from our service provider as they usually send them with tactical style. Well, that is not where I am going. I ignored the message the first time. In about 2 minutes later, I got another and it keeps happening every 2 minutes. I gave up and forced myself to check the content of the message. Then I saw this:



I chuckled when I saw that and it showed it to my friends who told me to call that line to know their new tactic. Therefore, I decided to use the bonus airtime on my phone to do that. I dialed the so called CBN customer care line and trust me, the voice I heard was much like that of a customer care representative LOL… the voice was horrible. The truth is that I was talking to a guy that might have used a phone or app that can change voice and I immediately tap on recording so as to share with you guys.

Moral of the story, be extremely careful and don't, I mean NEVER reveal any of your card details to anyone. The information i gave out during the phone call was incorrect. Because that is all they need to steal all your money away; your is useless in this situation, as they will not need it to complete their transaction. The only thing you will be aware of is a debit alert on your phone.

I hope this gets to everyone and save a million souls from being scammed, outside from my story I believe there are other ways they perpetrate their scam but Nemesis will catch up with those morons who claim they are smart.

in recent times, a group of German vehicle security researchers named ADAC in one of their research conducted noticed that varieties of new cars are vulnerable to hackers especially the keyless ones.

ADAC uses a radio-based amplification system which uses cheap chips, batteries, a radio transmitter, and an antenna to easily hack the below listed cars. The attack is carried out by producing a pair of radio devices using cheap chips, batteries, a radio transmitter, and an antenna which will trigger a signal from the vehicle that seeks a radio response from the key. When executed, the method will then allows hackers to penetrate the car and drive away without needing the remote key.

SOLUTION:

According to Wired via NY times, the temporary solution is to keep the keys in the freezer which will block the transmission of unwanted radio signals, but ADAC believes that the only solution is for the car manufacturers to fix the problem themselves.

I can bet that most Nigerians with any of the cars mentioned above won’t be bothered given that we don’t have crazy hackers, but never be too sure.
