Lwkmd...... Armless women attempted to disarm armed soldiers. That was hilarious.
Serious, I sometimes find it tough to agree with some news! This is too true to believe! How can these women disarm our army?

Nigerian Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick has vowed not to employ a foreign coach to take charge of the Super Eagles again after Sunday Oliseh's handling of the job and resignation on social media while he was away at Zurich for FIFA's elections.

Amaju, who christened Sunday Oliseh 'Africa's Pep Guardiola' upon his appointment last year says the era of giving indigenious coaches a chance to head the Super Eagles is over, saying Samson Siasia will take over the team temporarily while the NFF look for the perfect 'foreign' replacement.

“After this Sunday Oliseh debacle, we have definitely turned the corner. We are now going to start shopping for a well grounded and qualified foreign coach to tinker the Team. Enough is enough. What we have learnt is that there is a world of difference between being a good coach and being a good manager”, he said.

While announcing his resignation on Twitter, Oliseh said “Due to contract violations, lack of , unpaid wages, benefits to my players, assistant coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles chief coach. I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to play, captain and coach this great nation of ours, Nigeria.”

But according to reports the NFF are planning legal action against Oliseh citing he broke contractual obligations after he resigned without giving a month's notice plus in his contract he was told to live in Nigeria and given rent but refused to live here to perform his coaching duties.

Former Minister of Interior,Abba Moro and two othets were today sent to jail by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja. The court ordered the immediate remand of the three in Kuje prison, pending the hearing of their bail application on March 2nd.

Abba Moro,Anaesthesia Nwaobia, a Permanent Secretary in the ministry and a Deputy Director Finance, F.O Alayegbami, were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an 11 count criminal charge over the 2014 N676 million Nigerian Immigration recruitment scandal that lead to the death of more than 20 job seekers. The defendants are accused of obtaining by false pretence, procurement fraud and money laundering. They are said to have defrauded 676,675 applicants, each job seeker paying the sum of N1000 for registration in the job recruitment scam.

The presiding judge, Justice Anwuli Chikere, however granted bail to second defendant, Anaesthesia Nwaobia, because she recently gave birth to a baby and is still nursing her child.

The accused however pleaded not guilty to all the charges preferred them.

I am very very certain that we will have plenty high profile prisoners before this year runs out. Metuh for sure is jail bound. Badeh is jail bound, Dasuki is jailbound, now Ihejirika....

I expect some 'groups' to rise up to defend Ihejirika though.
Who are we to defend him? Is the law not strong enough to fight for him?

With all this initial gra gra, I hope the government get convictions because these guys have lots of money and may use the best SANs to humiliate the EFCC. There investigative capabilities of the EFCC seem poor. See wa happened to previous high profile corruption cases.

BALLOSKI:

A lawyer defending Sambo Dasuki in court appears to have indicted former president, Goodluck Jonathan, in the ongoing arms deal probe in Nigeria.
Ahmed Raji, one of the lawyers of Sambo Dasuki, the embattled former National Security Adviser to Jonathan, stated that the arms deal probe cannot be discussed without reference to Jonathan.
“The national security adviser will normally carry out the instructions of his president,” Ahmed Raji told AFP.

You cannot talk about this matter without talking about President Jonathan,” he added.

It is unclear if President Muhammadu Buhari will go after his predecessor, with many political analysts claiming that Buhari will most likely not to do so.
It would be recalled that when Buhari was voted into power in 2015, he said in his acceptance speech last April that: “President Jonathan has nothing to fear from me,” adding that, “Let’s put the past behind us, especially the recent past.”

But with the prosecution of Dasuki, a powerful member of Jonathan’s istration, the former head of state could yet be dragged into the case.

One thing about most of Nigerian politicians is that they've looted so much that they can't even for how much they have looted and the properties they've got.

So Mr Fayose, I suggest you think well
tell him, that was how both dasuki and metu were making noise and they now have so many count charges against them!
