Hello House, just a quick update. i went to TLS today where i did the application. i told them i was there for collection so they let me in. i got to the collection stand gave them my document and they said my the port was not with them. i then told them that i spoke to UKVi last week and was told a decision has been made. they then said yes a decision had been made but the port is not with them that its with the high commission. So i wanted to ask does the port really go to the high commission before going to the TLS center? i sent ask the security guy and he said yes its true.

When did u do ur biometrics, mine is since feb 13! I m thinking of going to the British embassy but don’t want to go alone

Please I need help, I did my biometrics on the 10th Feb 2022, I got a mail on the 15th feb to send further proof of marriage cos it's a dependent visa after which I did, pictures, change of name, chats etc. It's 8weeks now, have called UKVI thrice and sent a paid mail, they said decision has been taken, I visited TLS ikeja, the said they have not receive my document, please house what can I do, alot of people that did after my date have gotten there documenta. Please help

My dependant's visa application was submitted the first week of February. Didn't hear any more thing from UKVI.
I called last week and was told the decision was made on ~February 14th. I asked them to escalate.

Out of curiosity, I went to the post office today, and speculatively presented page 1 of the application form. The woman came back with a BRP in a brown envelope. She asked for the port and vignette, I could not present it. She said the BRP was received by them since February 20th.

I called UKVI again. The lady rudely told me that my issue was escalated, and I should wait for another 15 working days.

Does anyone have an idea where my dependant's port maybe? UKVI? Home Office? TelePerformace? IS there any number or that folks have used previously, please? Help me biko.

I had my biometrics taken on the 21th of February, priority visa processing and my application was transferred to VAC on the 22nd. My application has been stuck at the DMC since then, I sent a paid mail on the 1st of March and was told my application is still awaiting a decision and there was no NSF mail.
Today is the 9th working day and I am really worried.
How can I escalate my case?

I am facing same problem. My wife left Nigeria on the 13th February. I did my Biometrics since 8th February with my daughter. My daughters visa came out on the 24th February and up till now mine isn’t . Still at DMC . Sent paid mail, was asked to wait for first 10days n later another 15working days . I’m just frustrated has they are suffering my 10month old daughter to reunite with her mum .

Yes a decision has been made already but they said there was a mistake on the visa stamped on the port. The port has come out now. It came out yesterday.

Was it mentioned in the mail? Can I message u pls??

If your school is a nice one, you can go to the immigration team for them to help you escalate. That was what my friend did.

I personally know someone who has this same issue. He is in the Uk already and applied for wifey and 3 children dependent visa. The wife and 2 children’s own came out over a month ago and one child still pending. He has followed up and got this waitfor 10 days and wait for another 15 days. He decided to go to his school immigration unit just last week who followed up for him, the response from UKVI to the school was there was a mistake on the port so they had to return for correction hence the delay, they said they could not give any timeline for when the corrected one will be ready and it is being worked on urgently. You can speak with wifey if she can go to her school immigration/visa team to lodge a complaint and if they will be able to assist escalate.
