I mean they put such barriers for Nigerian citizens because of the state of the Country and the very high likelihood of Nigerians overstaying their Visas as continues to happen even with the barriers. They know the country is a giant shit hole and its Citizens are desperate to escape for functional 21st Century societies. Even the bankers and M.Ds in Nigeria will give it all up to be Citizens of First world Countries. It makes perfect sense.

Rossikk: All this venom because Oyinbo rejected you and sent you packing back home? I did a quick google search and it said Nigeria's literacy rate is 62%. Not good at all. So you expect me to believe that our educational standards are higher than those of first world countries?? Is that why we don't innovate anything and we need foreign nationals to come extract and process our oil? We don't even print our own currency. Haven't figured out how to generate enough electricity to power the Country in over 60 years of independence now. That colonial language is the number one language spoken in the world today. It's the defacto international language. So be mad about it all you want. Mr colonial victim. |

grandstar: Sorry for my harsh response jare. Just misunderstanding on both our path. I wish our fatherland was much better than it is. But our reality is unfortunate. We gotta do what's best for us individually i guess. Also, yes South Americans send their most mediocre to worst because they enter illegally. If Nigeria was on the American continent we would all be trekking to the U.S land borders too lol. |

grandstar: What makes you think that qualification to assimilate into a first world modern society starts and ends with the ability to speak English? Also for all those countries you listed, English might not be a first language but most of their population have been been able to pick it up as a second language. Most Nigerians can't even speak proper fluent English without resorting to pigeon to supplement their poor grammar. Most Nigerians are illiterate, and the ones that made it to through school are still poorly educated. My comment was never about barring all Nigerians from Immigrating. My comment was making travel "visa Free" for all Nigerians which would lead to a massive influx of low quality Immigrants with poor education and inability to properly assimilate to the local culture here. It's usually the most privileged and well educated Nigerians that make it to North America so it's no surprise that most succeed. We are a Nation with the highest rate of poverty for a reason. No first world nation will ever make travel visa free for such. 1 Like 1 Share |

HacheNoire: It's not about "working hard" like a thoughtless camel. Canada doesn't want Nigeria's culture imported en masse. Culture and suitability matters. Educational level matters. The quality, not just quantity of people, matters. Nigeria has very low quality and high quantity of people, which is why the Country is both low quality and substandard. Ask your fellow African Countries to let you in, instead of trying to invade Oyinbo's Country, 2 continents away from you. 5 Likes |

chrisoo: Very true. Even i myself have an Asian as a landlord but he's been really considerate. Indians are slumlords. They'll either give you a small crappy, dirty barebones accommodation or they'll offer you same living quarters as their family and it'll be stifling for you. E no easy. 1 Like |

Your "beliefs" about Karma and all that other nonsense you wrote up is not based in reality. It is based on your fantasies. Maybe you are stuck in Nigeria and have no avenue to escape to in order to compensate you think up fantastical and illogical reasons why it's best to remain rooted in Nigeria anyway. This is the one life you have. You die and you are done. Anything else about after life or pre-life is all fantasy and products of people's imagination. I guess the United States of America should never have prospered then because it was the Brits who immigrated there to set up a colony and you know how many Natives were slaughtered in order for them to get their way? And then what about the Slavery of Africans that went on there for well over a century. Why hasn't Karma caught up to them yet? Why have they gone on to become the most advanced and prosperous nation on earth? Stop with all your fantasy and face reality. Your coping mechanism for the reality you find yourself in is not going to move anyone. You are alone in your musings. |

People are only madder about Canada right now because it is simply far far easier to immigrate there. It's not because they believe Canada to be superior. I think that's the message that Lagbaja88 was trying to get across originally before he descended to unnecessary pettiness. Even I would love to move to the U.S after getting Canadian Pali. The U.S is objectively superior to Canada in almost every way except maybe Crime Stats. |

She is taking on the Woke Liberal victim ideology. You are not a victim in Canada. Your own Country victimized and terrorized you and that's why you ran away to Canada. I would risk death before I ever returned to Nigeria to live (which is never). Commenters here are right, with everything you faced in Nigeria and that people you left behind continue to face, you have little right to post videos online complaining about "Canadian racists" (online trolls). It's the internet, those people are probably not even in Canada. I'll say it again. You are not a victim. It's the populace living under the Nigerian Government that are the real victims. You should make a video about the real victims of black on black hate in Nigeria. Tribal hate. 1 Like |

mrphysics: This is obviously because people would rather be in control of these inherent risks to their lives rather than have others wield that risk over them. It's a simple thing about being in control. People hate to feel like they are not in control of what gets to happen to them, especially when we are talking about life and death. 2 Likes |

Hedonisco: You have the wrong priorities in life. If you truly believe that losing his freedom and future at his tender age (20s) is worth the "infamy" he would gain by being a known criminal that only other wretched minded (potential) cirminals look up to then i could only feel a bit sorry for you. Follow his foot steps if you will and lets see how much you thrive. |

codeigniter: Lmao of course you have gigs in Naij. You also have bricklayers, and plumbers. Are they smelling the kind of money bricklayers and plumbers are making here? You can't compare the economy here to there which is why i say you can't fathom the difference. Ordinary gig worker here is making more than your local M.D. It's insane. No comparison. 2 Likes |

It's now about how long, hard and smart you are willing to work to make what ou want. You can't imagine it because you are trapped over there in Naija. I feel for you. Lol i left for Canada last December. My salary at my suit and tie job back in Naij ( i won't call it home) was just under N200k per month. I just calculated the income i received this month after taxes. Your boy netted N1,700,000 (6,200 CAD). I'm not even doing a professional job. I don't have a boss. I sleep and wake up when i want. I go to work when i want. I can take a month off ( not any time soon tho ![]() One caveat tho is that i worked every single day to make this. Day and Night. But i enjoy the job so it's nothing to me. Plus making good money is so addicting. I don't anticipate i'll clear this much after tax going forward but i can still net over 1 mill a month if i choose to. The West is truly the land of opportunity. Dream come true. 28 Likes 1 Share |

Lool the rantings of a loser who can't afford to get out so he lashes out at those who can. You seem quite clueless to the fact that there's no fixing Nigeria. Opening this little business or that little business is not going to fix anything. Paying your taxes is not going to fix anything. Nigeria is a rotten society with a rotten culture. The minds of the people are degenerate and corrupt to the very core at every level of the society. If you want anything resembling a modern civilized life before you die, you will never find it in Nigeria or anywhere in Africa for that matter. That whole continent is f*cked up. So shut up and enjoy it by yourself if you can't manage to get out. Nobody owes your misery any company. 3 Likes |

God had nothing to do with this. You superstitious people. An unfortunate incident that happened by chance with contributing factors such as poor road infrastructure, poor driving and/or other poor road s. Accidents happen every day and people die due to these accidents everyday. It's the reality of the world and the reality of life. Nothing to do with some magical being.
