If you want to have kids in the future, start saving towards PGD + IVF with private hospitals as I do not think the NHS will fund such treatment.

Also I have never heard of any Government programs specifically tailored towards your situation but you can check online.

Check that you have transferred the funds from your Dom into your Debit/ Credit card . If you have not, you have to do that in order to gain access your funds. Also make sure you effect the transfer before 12noon I think so that it can reflect same day.

Maybe get a lawyer to write to them with copies of your proof. This is quite sad. Do they have a regulatory body? You can also write to them.

I relocated to the UK over a year ago and the travel processes was done by a travel company in Nigeria. We were eligible for IHS refund, so i informed the designated agent assigned to us when we did out travel arrangment in Nigeria to inform her that i will be applying for the refund, she told me to provide proof once i have applied because the Uk gov will only refund the IHS to originating that IHS is paid from which happens to be from the MD and his wife . The refund has been approved and credited into their various since september this year and the company is not having a turn around saying they do not process refund and do not involve themselves with IHS refund. All i want is for my IHS refund to be paid to me by the travel company since it has been credited into their .

Please i need help or advice to go about getting my IHS refund from this people. The company have decided to stop responding to our emails claiming our file has been closed. I have all the evidence including transaction details.

This post is just to say thank you to everyone that come here to give advice, share information and basically render when required. In January a couple of you guys started discussing about how to get a property , that was when it occurred to me that have been dashing landlord money for too long oh.

Anyways I ed a mortgage advisor ( recommended on one of the Facebook groups for first time buyers), explained my situation, to her and she worked out how much lenders would be willingly to offer me as mortgage amount. That’s how I started looking for property o, kitty kitty I chatted an OG in the game @lexusgs430 who broke everything down properly and basically encouraged to go ahead and also try other lenders to see if i could get more (worst case will be No abi but nothing spoil).

The hustle to find a house within my affordability was another thing, houses don’t even last on the market ( single applicant with two kids, husband in Nigeria).

Anyway I got lucky, someone’s sale fell through , reserved the property 19th of February and got my keys April 1st. My tenancy contract ends 12th May but I am super happy I got the property on lock down, my landlady has put her house on the market so yeah talk about “timing”.

Thank you guys so much for always sharing your experience. Just generally thankful as that is one less thing to worry about.

However, I wish we applied with hun because he has now been travelling with Visit Visa ( some Point of entry officers can make this difficult with questions about his job or why he is always coming into the Uk) and also if your partner applies with you, making switches to depend on each other in of visa types can be easier.

Having said that please apply with your partner @poster even if he wouldn’t be resident here but for easy entry.

For my renewal I will add my husband as I now have another baby.

I came into the Uk with my son ( my husband didn’t apply with us), all I did was explained why my son had to come with me (he was a year old then and was still nursing) and why my husband was not ing us. I also showed correspondences between the Nursey I intended to enroll him in.

It possible but you have to prove your case and show you have the funds for Nursery fees if they are not yet of “free school age”.

Basically every situation is unique.

Only caveat to the above is widowed, divorced or single parent and you need to demonstrate sole responsibility for the child with court orders etc

Oh yes I am open to trying out new meals and not necessary traditional meals. He has been going to the nursery for a year for morning sessions and we all love it so why not.

Except its a must for you that he attends a sure start nursery.... if yes then sometimes my kids went to holiday clubs where I had to provide lunch so I did snack (crips, cakes, chocolate fingers) , caprisonne or a small juice drink and I made a sandwich...switch up the type of bread for variety and then ham, sausage ,tuna for filling, burger in the oven and put in a bread bun.. Yogurt some days..

He won't be able to take these to nursery(he eats lots of noodles, poundo ) ... noodles yes if he allowed hot food then you buy a small flask

Not sure about your location but most nurseries here won’t want you to come in with hot food. So it needs to be cold- Sandwiches, Fruit, Juice box, Croissants and/or biscuits.

As someone mentioned, also find out if the nursery will feed your child. You might not even need to pack anything if he’s not a picky eater.

He is two going on three, he is required to bring lunch to be stored in the fridge untill lunch Time�

Sept 2020 and it's almost September 2021, that means you have been resident in the UK how at least a year. Better go and get the UK drivering licence because you are only allowed one year to use international licence.

I currently drive with my Nigerian License, i also have the international License but the Nigerian one was accepted by the insurance company and I have been using it since September 2020.

So the 6months payment is quite funny, my sole Representative visa wasnt helpful because my employers are in Nigeria( they were a-bit uncomfortable with that and also the financial uncertainty, No thanks to covid) . I was given the option to pay 6 months (0ne month with Deposit Scheme, 4months for rent and they will keep two months, whenever i am leaving the two months will be paid back to me). It was a desperate one for me aha with a toddler, i jumped at it and I have a roof over my head. Trust me alot has changed in the rental market especially with Landlords, Kent landlords showed me serious pepper even with my Uncle trying to get the place for us, them no gree at all oo
