I didn't realize how this can save time until a client asked me to change the styling of a website.
If I had used a preprocessor like SCSS, all I needed to do was to just go change the value of the variables and it will take effect throughout the website.
After learning SASS, life has become easier. You can to build a website with the mindset of applying changes on demand of client.

Me and Mike have been dating for six months now. For all I know,he is a tailor. We met when my brother's wedding. My brother introduced him as his friend in secondary school. The next day,he texted me and said that he collected my number from my brother.
Since then,we started chatting. He told me that he was a tailor and I visited his shop twice. It was not big but it was okay. The third time we saw each other,he asked me to be his girlfriend. I didn't accept at first because my income was more than his. I work as a software developer. But he begged me a lot and I finally accepted. He was very happy.
I started having feelings for him too and I'm a short while,we were deeply in love.His status didn't matter to me anymore. My parents didn't agree to the relationship. When I threatened to commit suicide,they didn't pressure me to break up with him again.
My friends weren't left out,they insulted me for dating a poor guy. My brother even stopped talking to me. My friends mocked me so much but I couldn't bring myself to break Mike's heart because we love each other. They were probably jealous of me because Mike showed his love in even small things,he would take me out every Friday to a cheap restaurant. We bought each other gifts almost every day. Secondly,Mike is very good looking.
I rented a two-room apartment for him because his former one was too small and I don't like it.
Everything went smoothly. Sometimes,he would travel to his village because his mother had health issues. I always beg him to let me visit his mom but he refused,saying that he was ashamed that I was taking care of him instead of vice versa. I insisted but he said when the time was right.
Last week,he was very uncomfortable. I asked him why and he opened up that he wanted to propose to me but his ring was very cheap. I was very happy. I didn't mind the fact that the ring was just a silver one with no stone. It was simple and beautiful. I collected the ring happily. He embraced me and said we would get married when he has saved enough money.
He made me vow that I would never leave him no matter the situation. I promised and we departed.
I went straight to one of my friends house. I showed her my ring. She laughed scornfully and said that I was a fool for collecting a silver ring. I slapped her without looking back.
I went straight home. Mom was happy for me. I went to bed happily.
The next day,I went to work. I returned back only to find my brother and my fiance,Mike of course .
To my shock,he was dressed richly,he changed totally. He wasn't the same Mike that I knew. In fact,I would have thought that he was another person,but I know him very well. He was wearing gold chain with his name on it. He had a different hairstyle,oh my gosh. What happened? Has God finally buttered his bread?
And why is he discussing with my brother? They never speak a word to each other.
He looked up and smiled.
"Babe." He stood up and walked to me.
He put his hand around my waist.
" Oh my goodness. You changed...what happened?"
"I have something to tell you. I don't know how you'll feel about it." he said softly.
"What do you want to tell me? Wait,tell me why...I don't understand." I said.
"Please don't feel bad...but I want to propose first."
He went on his knees and removed my beloved silver ring.
"Why? You've proposed yesterday..."
"It's complicated....all what you did for me is more than it. So I want to propose again. Will you be my wife?"
"Yes,I'll marry you." I replied.
He put a golden ring with diamond stone. I was shocked. It was even customised,'Mike and Adeola'.It worth millions of naira. Where on earth did he get the money to buy a customized ring?
I was speechless and shocked. He stood up and embraced me. I hugged him tightly.
"Well,ife mi( my love)" that was how he always called me. "I want to tell you now."
"Okay." We sat down together. I didn't say anything to my brother.
Mike looked at Tunde,my brother.
"Um,Ola,your boy...fiance...,take this easily."
"Why are you beating around the bush? Tell me why two of you are so tense? And why do you suddenly become friends today?"
"Ife,please calm down." Mike caressed my hand.
"Ola,Mike is the owner of a oil company both in Nigeria and US."
My eyes narrowed.
"Those times that he went to visit his mom,he actually went for important business trips."
"What?" I screamed and stood up. My bag fell from my hand.
"Baby..." Mike stood and walked to me slowly. I held out my hand.
"Stop....please...is it true?"I asked,breathing heavily.
"Yes,I'm sorry for everything...I was only looking for my true love. All the women I came across only loved my riches not me. So I came up with a plan...I pretended to be poor...
