Am always concerned with the spate of how motorist in other states like Abuja, recklessly flout road signs and rules, endangering other motorist life. Also they are known for causing traffick jams with their recklessness. Is it that most of all this motorist didnt go to a driving school or they are purposely doing this. I think sending people like this to psychiatrics wld be the best option, as it was previously proposed in lagos

But if u can have a flash back when they startd the mid-nite call, people screamd how awesome it's and they rushd for it, wit the hope it's going to end soon. MTN is nt the best, but they tend to give us option

@baslone, Going by hìstory, the Oba of Lagos has his root from benin, edo state. That's the reason why before any coronation of any Oba in Lagos, he must firstly go down to benin city to pay homage to the Oba of Benin. Meaning without the agreement of the Oba of Benin their can never be an Oba in Lagos. Benin, Edo state is seen as the their first home. While the other chiefs, baales, obas in suburb of lagos are not lagosians 1 Like |

@step1, this is sure the most incisive statement i've ever come across up in here. I wld say even the said yorubas that are claiming 'awa ni a l' eko'(we own lagos), does not even knw nuffin about lagos itself. All they are after is getting crowded in what is slipping them off wit time. If as an individual u dnt knw where ur people were coming frm and where they are heading, u're more or less a visionless leader. And whìch is prevalent in Lagos |

The political arena of Lagos and its environs has mostly been taken up by mostly yorubas that find themselves in Lagos, of which they are from other yoruba speaking states. But non-yorubas that was born, bred and grew up in LAG are seen as non-indigenes. Is Lagos actually a no mans land? If not, how wld you describe or what makes up a Lagosian?

Thank God the mallas are seeing the reason why we shld go seperately. They shall never smell the seat of presidency as long as the power is in the south. Cos after this dispensation the igbos for sure is their turn, later middle belt. so and so, they shld make do with their seperation thingy. Mumus dem no knw d benefit of being a nigerian, and having us the Southerners as collaborator in the artificial entity calld nigeria

Given Buhari the power to rule the country, wld spell doom to alot of politicials. As he wld make sure he makes life unbearable for corrupt previous office holders, eg OBJ and co. So PDP shld do every thing in their power to bring their usual abracatabra

I still give it to the Urhobos and Ijaw anytime, anyday. Asu Ekiye and Kefee gave u a tip of the iceberg of their dance step. Just be opportuned to be in one of dem gathering ehn, u wld sure open ya eyes. After dey must have loaded their system with 'nuff apeteshi(ogogoro). U wld see fire on the dance floor

As i said, i grew up in the midst of the yorubas in Lagos. But when it comes to dance. Go check the Urhobo people out(men and women). Yoruba/efik/ibibio are just bums shakers.

Am etsako, but i find myself nt liking the bini girls. I wonder if am the only one that feel this kinda ill-feelings towards 'em. I have a mad love for girls up edo north, maybe cos they aint as ruff and rugged as the bini counterpart. But it pains me dat my etsako chics are scarce here in lag.
