Dangote and his penchant for business.

I was on this forum some years ago, it seemed we were talking about wealth creation. A certain person made a contribution that struck some chord within me. He said we should invite Dangote to come and tell us how his mind worked. That was powerful! How his mind worked?! Acquiring great wealth is determined by the working of one's mind. The dynamics of making money is embedded in the mechanics of thoughts. It is a mindset,a mental orientation and a thought projection. It's all about the interplay between personality and reality. I will encourage youto watch the video posted by a Nairalander on YouTube whether the contents can resonate with you and ignite the dynamite that would unleash your potentials in your quest for wealth and a more comfortable life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LCcuBpPoAA?feature=shared |

Hmmm. Doesn't the write up say he did it for the festive season? That means it would go up back to status quo after the season. He didn't do it as a result of market forces. It seems some people comment after reading captions only.

Peace in the midst of protest! Even if it appears our cries are falling on deaf ears, even if it seems the efforts made by our government to make things better seemingly make things worse, even if it looks like protests are just child's plays and ineffective comic theatrics, and it appears the economic crisis is crashing lives and hopes; one thing is sure, you can still find peace in the storm. You can find calm in the eye of the storm, there can be peace in the midst of violence and turbulence. The secret to achieving that state of calm composure is shared in the video below by a Nairalander. Finding peace when things are being blown into pieces. How to hold up when there is nothing to hold on to. Watch the video and learn the art of going through challenging times without going down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJjtPAjWYWE?feature=shared |

emmy512: The lines are probably caused by the recent software bug that has affected the display drivers. So it's more of a software glitch. It's either you wait for Samsung to release a patch that will solve the problem or try to reinstall the original software maybe the lines would disappear after removing the software update. |

Good morning, dear Nairalanders. Apart from the economic crisis in the country, if you are becoming tired in life through a long deferred hope because your project is yet to take a significant shape, this message is for you. I know that the journey you are on is tiring and overwhelming, but I want to encourage you not to give up. that God is with you in every step, even when things feel difficult. The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 40:31 that "Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."Trust that your strength will be renewed, and the Lord will sustain you. In Galatians 6:9, we are told, "Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Though the process may feel long, keep going, because there is a reward waiting for you at the end of this season. Finally, take comfort in Psalm 46:1, which says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."He is with you right now, giving you the grace to persevere. Stay strong, trust in God's timing, and keep your faith alive. He is working behind the scenes, and He will surely come through for you. I want you to share your experience with us. How did you get through your own tiring moments when life seemed not to agree to your plans and projects? However,I encourage you to watch the video below, it was posted on YouTube by a Nairalander. You will be inspired as you watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7374FiEFOVA?feature=shared |

Is this a question you have asked in the recent time? You may have to hold on to something to survive the economic storm ravaging the nation right now if you are out of strength. We have seen different governmental policies like Operation Feed The Nation(OFN), Green Revolution, War Against Indiscipline(WAI), Structural Adjustment Programme(SAP) and maybe more. I how SAP nearly sapped life out if some people. It was not easy, but we survived it and are alive to tell the story. Which of the policies of our past governments produced similar economic hardship in Nigeria? Let's have your view. But amidst all,you need a staying power to pull through this situation as well as you don't want to be blasted into pieces by the economic tides. I encourage you to watch the video posted by a fellow Nairalander. It will imbue you with insight to hold up and pull through this economic history of the nation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-acYIyRdIsU?feature=shared |

The cost of living in Nigeria is sky rocketing with the upward surge in the fuel price hike.Taxes are springing up everywhere and the average Nigerian seems to be spending their savings to meet up with fulfilling their needs. It seems the solution to the nation's multi dimensional economic problem is not in sight yet. What is the hope of the common man in all of this? Our government seems to be playing with the heartstrings of Nigerians. Turning to government for help and waiting for them seem needlessly hopeless. Imagine the federal government telling the NLC and TUC that they should accept the N 70,000 minimum wage if they wanted the fuel price to remain where it was. These organisations seemed tricked as fuel price has gone up and the case seems hopeless. In times like this, you need a stronger hand that will lift you above the economic tales and woes of this nation. A life empowerment for a prosperous life. A and lift system that would make you stay debt free in a debt soaked country. You need spiritual principles to be financially buoyant. Life is spiritual and it is balanced by rituals. A ritual is a set of words or actions that is performed as a form of religious activity regularly. Waking up to pray to your Maker for guidance and protection every morning is a ritual. Any thing you do as a set of religious of activities to provoke the intervention of the supernatural in your life is a ritual. Studying the scriptures constantly, declaring those words and engaging the power in them over your life as you go about your daily life is a ritual. God owns the heavens and the earth. Psalm 50 : 12.He owns the gold and all the treasures in them. The principles to access them are there in the scriptures. In Prov 6 vs 6-11, the principles to access wealth are (i) hardwork (ii) good time management (iii) understanding the times, seasons and trends (iv) discipline (v) culture of saving for the rainy days (vi) self motivation and drive, etc. But you know, it is possible for all these factors to be in place and the results may still seem far away. Ecclesiastes 9 : 11, "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." To stay financially afloat and buoyant, you need the CREATOR Who controls times, seasons and chances. I will encourage you to watch a video posted by a Nairalander. Insights on how to key into the realm of abundance while living in the city of scarcity are shared. This is the message of hope we need as Nigerians right now ! Let's watch the video and see, maybe,we will be able to pick one or two lessons needed for a financially buoyant living. Happy Sunday to you all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBIpvmibJNg?feature=shared |
