Hi Everyone,

I have been a silent and few times not a silent reader all along☺. 

This study permit application process started since December 2019� which was when I made up my mind that I will pursue my post graduate program in Canada. 

I applied for ission to Seneca College February 2020 and got LOA after a day for a competitive program (I felt wow, This was fast! maybe God is preparing me for an easy journey) unknown to me that challenges are ahead of me (Sigh, life!)

However, after applying for study permit on March 26th, 2020 through a famous agent, I got refused on May 12th, 2020. Then, I reapplied again the second time with the same agent on July 7th 2020, which also came back with refusal on October 5th 2020����. 

I was very sad and traumatised, felt really bad and never wanted to reapply again because I felt what was the point since I have been receiving a negative from IRCC. Nothing made sense to me as my plan was to leave Nigeria immediately after NYSC. I thought it would be easier since I had travelled to Canada before for holidays.

So, for the third time (Nigeria can frustrate itself�) I applied again with the assistance of FrankRobbn1's (fandrglobal.com). He submitted all the necessary documents on the 20th of January, 2021 and drafted a well-thought argument to my case including NSE requirements (IELTS 7.5) which brought about the successful outcome of my application on the 22nd of July, 2021��� (6 months and 2 days). 

This process was challenging, frustrating, overwhelming, nerve racking, tested my faith, belief, and my strength.

While waiting for an update, I also sent a stinker message to IRCC (that was how frustrated I was, it was bold of me but my tired was tired!��) 


Later, I started begging again everyday through mails and webform� and finally sent a mail to the Minister of Immigration (MPs of Ontario were not fast enough for me) on July 3rd and got a response on July 18th and at a later date received PPR today 22nd July, 2021. So, maybe the enquiry from the Minister's office helped in the expeditious decision on my application.


I give God the glory and adoration��, many thanks & salute to @Frankrobbn1(fandrglobal.com) who worked very hard on my case and I was able to successfully get an approval. @Frankrobbn1 (FandRglobal) was great!. He is caring and pays genuine heed to your problems and strives at coming up with solution. I must appreciate the services I received from him. He is very well equipped with wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with Canadian immigration matters. I highly recommend to him to everyone who needs help in their difficult cases and refused applications.

I also give my thanks and appreciation to everyone of you for the selfless services rendered to people on Nairaland. I don't think I would have gotten this without everyone's help no matter how little. May the Lord continue to reward everyone and answer everyone's prayers. 


My timeline is as follows:

Applied: March 26th, 2020
Refused: May 12th, 2020


Second Application
Applied: July 7th, 2020
Refused: October 5th, 2020


Third Application

Applied: January 20th, 2021
Upfront Medical: 8th March, 2021 (It was meant to be February 8th, 2021. I didn't have my hardcopy port just the datapage photocopy, so I had to wait for another month��‍♀ Don't be like me)
Upfront medical ed: April 16th, 2021
port Request and BVL: July 22nd, 2021.


I hope this post will stand to reduce the nerves, anxiousness in some people and give them hope that all shall be well and with God's grace by their side everything will all work out positively. 

Please this is also a testimony for me, so wherever you are just help me thank God on my behalf and also thank FrankRobbn1 that helped in my application.

My secondary office is London on my last GCMS note, I ordered another one, yet to receive it.

I also noticed someone that has the same issue mentioned his/her secondary office is London too, now that it has changed to Beijing, there will be a final decision soon ijn.

Since your application has exceeded the estimated processing time (7 to 12 weeks), GCMS note will give you insight into what has been done and current status of your application.

I have, Eligibility is on recommend interview and no pre-assessment note.

I ordered for another one again, still waiting for that.

bro am in same dram shoes with you mine is a 1yr and almost 5months I have not heard from the embassy just the difference was the pay I only gave my agent some little change that I can overlook initially he demand for 1m but I decline and part with less than half a million......the process is real just the time consuming aspect my friend elder sister travel same process so it's real I don't know of your agent but I know it's a slot that has time and season .....just be patient prayerful and careful of many wrong advice here cos many never even see cotonou border before just they shout scam........is it everybody that can produce canada documents on its own??

Any documents required from you to submit by IRCC is your document and information. There is nothing like is it everybody that can produce canadian documents. Yes, everybody can produce Canadian documents, they are your documents and information except you don't have the necessary documents and you want to forge it, like bank statements etc which is a very bad idea.

Medical is the first thing before Biometric and all that. And OP, if you have done medical, and your medical isn't at any of these two hospitals in Lagos or Abuja, QLife, Victoria Island; or IUM, Ikeja...sorry, you've been scammed.

Someone I know sent me a similar document to help her . She has spent over a million naira. She did her medical at a General Hospital in Ikeja- that's the red light.

Mind you, in case this helps you, I've been living in Canada as a permanent resident for sometime now. I went through the process, I know the process, and I am telling you.

This is wrong! Maybe in your time it was medicals first before Biometrics but currently you do your Biometrics before any medicals (upfront or request) or you do upfront medicals and submit it with your application then wait for them to ask for biometrics then your medicals will be updated to when it has been verified.

I don’t know if there is anyone on this boat...I have done my upfront medicals since March 5 and till date it hasn’t been ed despite ing the slip given to me at q-life clinic. I even called q-life and they said they have sent the result since March 14th.

This happened to me, did my medicals March 8th, updated April 16th. Keep sending webforms and mails to nairobi, attach your e-medical slip everytime you are sending a message, it will be updated.

Take your cloths, shoes, bags, wigs, extensions, makeup, skincare products, universal adapter, charger, phone case, powerbank, earplugs, drugs(like aboniki, paracetamol, vitamins, felvin/ibuprofen etc)

Food: No vegetables, No dairy, No meat, No gala, No ponmo.

But you can take Fish(make sure its dried well), seasoning, garri, poundo yam, snail, grinded pepper, if you are taking liquid( seal it well), Indomie etc.

Note: All these things can be bought over there, they are just more expensive or not palatable to us yet till we get used to it (like their milk, I hate it)

So you don't have to carry everything and you can also cargo to avoid excess luggage at the airport and just carry the things cargo won't be able to take.

I checked my IELTS (GT) result on the 22nd of December and received the hardcopy the next day.

Sorry for the outcome of your application, its unfortunate. However, your application is good but still requires some improving. Do well to request for your GCMS notes then proper advice can be rendered afterwards. I have my own queries of my own:

1. You mentioned your dad is the main sponsor, does this mean there is another and if yes, how did you show this person.

2. You mentioned that your dad's main business is real estate, if so, is there other business he does and if yes, how or did you demonstrate this or provide explanations and evidence.

3. Why include so much property/tenancy agreement documents, was it for a reason or created idea and if yes, how did you demonstrate or explain this since its more of an economic and level of establishment justification.

4. How was you study plan and what do you talk about esp your personal/sponsor financial situation.

5. Where was you application processed, Nairobi? and was it a self-applied application.

BTW your notes will be very resourceful in responding to your situation.

1. He is the Only sponsor.

2. His only main source of Income is from real estate which is through tenants. I submitted the Tenancy agreement between him and his tenants to show proof of how much he gets annually. I also submitted the valuation of his properties which was done in court and a ed real estate Surveyor and Analysis of rental Income per year.

3. He has about 45 tenants and I submitted the highest ones so as to show there is a legal agreement and they pay every year. So his financial standing won't be questioned.

4. I tried to make it very good, I read examples on nairaland, google etc. I broke down my Dad's financial qualification on an excel sheet, then transferred it to word.
I can send my SOP, for you to review.

5.It was processed in Lagos, Nigeria. It was not self applied, I used an agent.

To the best of your knowledge, do you obey the rules of the visa you have held in the past. I would encourage you to provide truthful answers to this question in order not to mislead this forum in providing you with guidance and insight.

Yes I do, before you enter the country, you are told to provide return ticket, you are asked how many months you intend to stay, you are given the months you can stay before entry is granted, everything is documented. So, I am definitely sure I have never disobeyed or broken the rules.

I visit and come back home at the approved timeline.

Another error on the Kenya Immigration Officer's (KIO) part. Applicant is applying from his home country, however the responsible Visa officer is not satisfied about his current immigration status in his home country. This tells how inefficient and callous these visa officers can be as they tend not to be reviewing files in its entirety.

The sad aspect of it all is that even the GCMS notes we firmly rely upon for clarity are also generic!, which leaves prospective applicants in the dark as there is no set out system to follow.

You have no option but to order it and share the notes with the of this thread.

On the other hand, you can address those reasons that were raised in a well articulated context and file for re-application.

Be strong and hope for the best in your next application.
