Please do another transcript, the transcript with Ola instead of Olu is to any school outside Nigeria representing another person, don't forget that ission offices are looking for a small error to deny anyone ission due to thousands of application worldwide.

Hello guys, I have been reading a lot on these page and. I wish to ask for some advice/guidance. This is my little story. I know winter application is off the balance but am bracing up for summer and the preparation has begun. I have a Cgpa of 3.12 studied computer sci /maths with over 4years working experience in telecoms as an engineer with major Telecom giants like glo, mtn to name a few. I wish to apply for M.sc in information/communication technology. My major challenge is the IELTS. Am opportune to get the letter of proficiency from Ministry off education in Lieu of IELTS. With the help of gurus here like eke40seven, danindia, cindino, styles, and others I may not , please can you help me with schools that can waive ielts in place of letter of proficiency. Also, what are my chances of getting itted with my Cgpa.. I hope to read from you guys soonest!

It's fully taught in german, you need at least B2 to be invited to take the entrance exam.
If you the entrance exam,you can be itted to studienkolleg, some entrance exam have maths and deutsch exams.
After 2 semester you write a final exam,when you , you can use the result ro apply to any german university or poly.

ission is based on result and other factors but almost all students from Studienkolleg gets issions.

Sincerely I don't understand y some of us run from these English exams cus it boost our chances of ission. Anything to give u d edge over d hundreds of applications dat ur course will get should b embraced by all in my own view. The fact that we study in English all our life should also b a reason we should b confident to write these exams. Ielts is the simplest exam I ever wrote and it simply gives ur application the edge wen its included

For a word of advice,don't write TOEFL cus d stress of going thru an agent before u can get ed is sumtin else. Write ielts which u can apply for 35k by ursef online without having to pay anybody. Pick the last week in may or d ist week in July to write ur exam and ur result will b out in 2 weeks. Ielts will even send a copy to the school on ur behalf for free if u indicate it while applying.

First you need to do german courses with Goethe institute,then apply to a german studienkolleg to do 2 semester before you can study in any German university or polytechnic.
Don't come with a schengen visa as it would not be converted to a study visa.

My prospective field is IT, as such, I'm taking programming classes, and besides, some of the schools I applied to offer free German classes to foreigners. Do you consider it a risk worth taking to ditch the programming for German as both are currently mutually exclusive? Thanks.

Don't dicht any of them, do both simultaneously, do a simple Google search with this term: studentenwerk heidelberg or (studenten Job)and look under job offers for students and the IT requirements,what employers are searching for from students.
Most student jobs start after lectures and the language courses offered by some uni too starts after lectures too, so you having a basic 5-6 months german knowledge before you come would really help and its not about having ed B1 or B2 but defending it by speaking and writing after 6 months of being here.

You should read d way Eke responds to queries here. he doesn't use comments like "LAZY" blah blah blah in them. people responding to queries should emulate him. there's no point sounding Rude. that said, no matter d question one asks, no matter how silly he might sound, u don't know the psychological trauma he/she is going through. the answer to the quest might b just as simple as visiting d embassy's website like u mentioned, but due to the certain circumstances he/she might not b able to reason to that extent.
