You can either buy similar colour paint and paint over the stains or try washing it off with clean water and fairy liquid if it’s a washable paint but in doing this you might add more dirt to the wall. Lastly you can try using white spirit

Babies born in the UK can apply for a visa using their birth certificate. Having a port is not compulsory.

Wahala... ILR from 5 years to 8 years... Hmmm... There are better ways to tackle immigration and attract only quality talents sha. The Point Based system is not "pointing".

My major challenge with the whole thing is the fact that an Immigrant, no matter how skilled, is tied to the Sponsorship of the Employer. I don't mind the 8 years but requiring an Employment Sponsorship for 8 years is crazy. Such a person can't even easily change jobs but has to remain with Employers willing to sponsor and remain at the mercy of such Employers.

The Global Talent Visa would have been a good remedy but even that is not the easiest to get, I hear.

Don't want to talk about the Visa Fees and IHS for 8 years!

Most foreigners will leave if this is implemented. Waiting 8 years for ILR is just too long . Other countries will take advantage and relax their immigration rules to accommodate the talents that would leave the UK.

I hope Nigerians learn from this ban. Another ban is looming, since people now go as far as asking for 10-16k for that almighty paper. Some are no longer ashamed of it, they it on their WhatsApp status and social media handles. Meanwhile a lot of them paid NOTHING for that same paper. The way corruption has eaten so deep into some people's mind ehn.

Our country will be great again but that CHANGE we so crave INDEED must start with us.

Unfortunately the only thing I’m unable to get is the legal documentation to back the adoption as this was in 1998. But I have some old pictures of us too. I’m not sure what other document I can addd to prove the relationship.

You can go to court and get a declaration stating that you are her adoptive son. Make sure it's signed and stamped

As the sponsor, I submitted my 6 months payslips and bank statements, tenancy agreement, utility bill, my birth certificate to prove she is my mum, invitation letter, consent letter from my dad, mum's 6 months statement, family pictures
