1. She has lots of close male friends - A significant number of affairs begin as close friendships with of the opposite sex. The relationship may be platonic at the beginning, but chances are, it won’t stay that way. The closer the woman is to her platonic male friend, the more likely it is that he will eventually end up becoming her lover – unless he’s gay.

2. She has girlfriends who are cheating on their mates. - Never underestimate the power of peer pressure. Adults are susceptible to it, too. If a woman has one or more close female friends who are cheating on their husbands or boyfriends, she may eventually start cheating, too.

3. She has an excessive need for attention. – A woman who constantly craves attention may cheat on her mate if she feels she’s not getting enough attention from him. She will be easy prey for any man who showers with her the attention she feels she deserves.

4. She’s materialistic. - A materialistic woman is likely to have an affair with a wealthy man because of the material things he can provide. She can easily be seduced with jewelry, designer clothes, lavish vacations, or the cash to buy these and other expensive things.

5. She views sex as a statement of her femininity. - Her identity as a woman is tied to how many men she sleeps with. Seducing men to sleep with her is the focal point of her life. With this mental attitude, it’s hard for her to stay faithful to just one man.

6. She’s a thrill seeker or a risk taker. - If she’s the type who likes to live dangerously, she’ll cheat just for the thrill of it, or for the excitement of doing something forbidden, or for the challenge of seeing if she can pull it off without getting caught. She views infidelity as other people would view a high-risk sport.

7. She’s easily bored. – A woman who is easily bored, or who leads a dull, routine life may cheat on her mate just to alleviate her boredom or add some excitement to her life.

8. She has been cheated on by her mate. – If a woman’s husband or boyfriend has cheated on her, she may try to even the score by cheating on him in return. Many women who have been victims of infidelity will indulge in retaliatory cheating or have revenge affairs.

9. She likes being the center of attention. – If a woman thrives on being the center of attention at all times, she is sexually vulnerable to any man who fawns over her, or makes her feel like she’s #1

10. She’s addicted to alcohol or drugs. – Women who are substance abs are much more likely to end up cheating on their mates. Female alcoholics are susceptible to infidelity because their inhibitions will be lowered and their judgment impaired. Female drug addicts may sell their bodies for drugs. Either type of woman is likely to cheat without realizing what she’s doing.

11. She has a reputation as a “party girl.” - If she’s the type of woman who runs with a fast crowd, or parties all the time, or hangs out until the wee hours of the night, her lifestyle makes her vulnerable to having an affair.

12. She’s a sex addict. - Women can be sex addicts, too. It’s an addiction that affects at least 6% of the American population. In the past these women were referred to as nymphomaniacs. This is a medical condition that requires professional medical help.

13. She has a sex drive greater than her partner’s. – If her sex drive greatly exceeds the sex drive of her husband or boyfriend, or her spouse or significant other is lacking in bedroom skills, she’s much more likely to cheat on her mate. She’ll find another man to make up for her mate’s deficiency.

14. She’s had lots of sexual experience. - If she has led a very active sex life, or has had lots of sex partners before settling down, she will find it extremely difficult to stay faithful to just one man.

15. She cheated before and got away with it. - That old saying “ Once a cheater, always a cheater will apply if she cheated in the past and didn’t suffer any negative consequences as a result of her infidelity. If she cheated before and didn’t get caught, she’s more likely to cheat again. The same applies if she cheated and her man readily forgave her without holding her able for her infidelity.

16. She has a big ego. - If she’s extremely egotistic, any man who feeds her inflated ego can easily get her into bed.

17. She suffers from low self esteem. - The opposite characteristic is also a danger sign. If she suffers from low-self esteem, she will be easy prey for the man who flatters her, makes her feel good about herself, and boosts her self esteem.

18. She views sex as a game. In her mind, sex is not connected to love. Sex is just a game in which she gets points for every man she beds. Even though she may be in love with her partner, she’ll have sex with as many men as possible so she can gain the maximum number of points and win the game.

The more of the above categories your wife or girlfriend fits into, the more likely it is that she will cheat on you.

An explosion on Tuesday rocked the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) pipeline at Ije Ododo area of Lagos State, after some vandals again tampered with the pipelines.
This is coming barely two weeks after the vandals ambushed and shot in cold blood, five policemen deployed to secure the area.
Also, recall that in February, a similar incident had occurred in the same area when some vandal damaged another pipeline at Ije Ododo at two different spots, leading to massive spillage of petrol.
The vandalism was said to have caused the explosion which saw billows of flames engulfing the whole pipeline, even as emergency services arrived to the rescue.
THISDAY gathered that the explosion occurred because the vandals had first tampered with the pipeline before inserting valves, with which they siphoned fuel from the ruptured pipes into kegs.
Confirming the incident, the South-west National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Spokesperson, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, however said emergency workers were initially impeded by the terrain.
He said while they were looking for access to the scene of the explosion, NNPC engineers had already mobilised by stopping supplies from flowing after they locked up the product valves.
He said: “Vandals struck again on the NNPC pipeline at Ije Ododo line and as at now, NNPC has shut down flows and locked the supply valves to stop further supply to feeding the fire.
“Action has commenced to put out the fire this morning after securing access to the difficult terrain, which had proven extremely difficult due to swampy nature of the area.
“Ije Ododo line is directly from Atlas Cove which supplies products to Moshinmi, which further distributes to other part of the South-west zone.
“Ije Ododo and Arepo have been very volatile and extremely dangerous due to activities of the vandals in recent times.”
To assist the appropriate agencies in doing their work of protecting the pipelines, Farinloye appealed to Nigerians to assist the government in safeguarding the nation’s infrastructure.

Over 1,000 local government workers, under the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees in Edo State, on Tuesday, stage a mass protest over the non-payment of their salaries by 16 local government councils.
The aggrieved, who were all dressed in black, marched around the Ring Road axis of Benin, the Edo State capital, with placards and forcing traffic to standstill for several hours, before heading for the Nigerian Union of Journalists Press Centre.
It was learnt that some of the protesters also smashed the windscreen of a taxi driver who tried to drive through their midst.
The State President of the union, Edward Young, said most of the employees were being owed between one and eighth months salaries.
Young, who alleged that the workers had been subjected to “abandonment and inhuman treatment,” explained that several negotiations and appeals by the union had failed to produce any useful result.
He listed the defaulting LG councils to include Oredo, Ikpoba Okha, Egor, Igbogbazuwa, Okada, Orhionmwon, Uhunmwode.
Others are Igueben, Esan West, Auchi, Fugar, Igarra, Sabongida Ora and Esan Central.
The NULGE president, who lamented that the union had lost “a lot” of its due to “lack of medical care,” wondered why the salaries of the affected workers were yet to be paid, when employees under the State Universal Basic Education Board had been paid.
He, therefore, called on the state to take responsibility for the payment of the teachers in order to enable the councils meet their financial obligations.

The All Progressives Congress has described as totally unacceptable and the “highest level of indiscipline and treachery” the conduct of Tuesday’s inauguration of the National Assembly that led to the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki and Mr. Yakubu Dogara as Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively.
This was contained in a statement by APC National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in Abuja on Tuesday.
APC said, “Senator Bukola and Hon. Dogara are not the candidates of the APC and a majority of its National Assembly -elect for the positions of Senate President and House Speaker. The party duly met and conducted a straw poll and clear candidates emerged for the posts of Senate President, Deputy Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, ed by a majority of all Senators-elect and -elect of the House of Representatives.
“All National Assembly -elect, who emerged on the platform of the party, are bound by that decision. The party is supreme and its interest is superior to that of its individual .
”Consequently, the APC leadership is meeting in a bid to reestablish discipline in the party and to mete out the necessary sanctions to all those involved in what is nothing but a monumental act of indiscipline and betrayal to subject the party to ridicule and create obstacles for the new istration.”
APC decried a situation in which some people, based on nothing but “inordinate ambition and lack of discipline and loyalty, will enter into an unholy alliance with the very same people whom the party and indeed the entire country worked hard to replace and sell out the hard won victory” of the party.
“There can be no higher level of treachery, disloyalty and insincerity within any party,” the party said, vowing to resolve the matter using all constitutional and legal means available to it.
Meanwhile, the APC has asked all its loyal Senators-elect to please report to the Senate to be sworn-in in order to discharge their constitutional duties.

A small investigative study hopes to inspire more research into unprecedented findings that complicate assumptions about trans men's experience and emotions during pregnancy.

In a first-of-a-kind study published in
Obstetrics and Gynecology this month, researchers set out to determine whether testerone therapy prevented pregnancy and asked trans birth fathers about what it felt like to be male and pregnant, reports NPR .
The results were illuminating about the relationship between trans men, their healthcare, their bodies, and their senses-of-self.
The study focused on 41 trans men who were currently pregnant or had given birth, and was developed by medical student Alexis Light after she was asked by several trans male friends what pregnancy was like and whether they would be able to conceive after using testosterone, notes NPR. Unable to find an answer in medical literature, Light designed a study with Dr. Jennifer Kerns, an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at the University of California, San Francisco.
Drawing on survey results, Kerns, Light, and two other researchers noted patterns in their qualitative data about the daily experience of being pregnant and male. While the respondents described facing the expected discrimination and disbelief, they also addressed the unknowns that Kerns' friends wondered about: Testosterone did not prevent conception for the 25 participants who had undergone hormone treatment, and pregnancy resulted in a wide range of both positive and negative emotions.
In of social interactions, respondents recalled numerous insensitive comments and exchanges, both in public and in doctor's offices, reports NPR. This included receiving uncomfortable stares, suspicion, hostility, being misgendered, being turned away from prenatal care, and even being reported to Child Protective Services. Kerns explained to NPR that these experiences often resulted in isolation from healthcare and a possible increase in depression during pregnancy and after.
Several of the respondents noted that pregnancy spurred a re-emergence of gender dysphoria — discomfort or distress related to a felt difference between one's psychological and physical gender. As one 35-year-old respondent described it: "Heavy time, having a baby, not ing as male. All the changes and a society telling me to just be happy."
Yet, according to NPR, researchers found that pregnancy can also lower a trans man's dysphoria, depending on the individual. Several respondents said that becoming pregnant allowed them to feel pleased or comfortable with their bodies, and feel that their bodies were doing something valuable that other male bodies couldn't do.
"Pregnancy and childbirth were very male experiences for me," said one 29-year-old respondent. "When I birthed my children, I was born into fatherhood."
Light and Kerns are confident that their study will be helpful to providers looking for pointers on how to relate to their pregnant male patients. However, they emphasize that because of their small sample size, their results are not definitive and should be replicated by other researchers. They were unable to ascertain how many men have tried and failed to become pregnant, and were only able to estimate how many men become pregnant each year — a number that, as Kerns speculated to NPR, could "easily" be in the thousands.
