Applicants are to note that the application process is completely free and there is no application fee.
Applicants should note the following steps:
1. Before you go on to apply, ensure you have a printout or accurate details of your Bank Verification Number or BVN and a recent port photograph.
2. Once you get on the application portal, you will be required to read the and conditions of the N-Power Programme and accept that all the information you will provide must be truthful and accurate.
3. Fill in your 11-digit BVN; then fill in your surname, first name, and middle name in identical to your BVN information; followed by details of your active bank ;
NOTE- If your BVN details are inaccurate, you will not be permitted to go past this interface. If the BVN details are accurate, you will be allowed to proceed to the application portal to fill in all the personal information required and your academic qualification. You will receive a unique N-Power identification number;

The N-Power programme is for young Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35. In 2016, through N-Power, the Federal Government engaged and deployed 200,000 young Nigerians in public primary schools, primary healthcare centres and in agriculture development project centres in all the Local Government Areas in Nigeria for the Batch A program.

In 2017, the N-Power Volunteer Corps enlisted 300,000 more volunteers to bring the number to the promised 500,000 N-Power Volunteers.

This year 2020, Npower Nigeria will be recruiting 400,000 volunteers as approved by the Nigerian Federal Government.

This is what Npower has to say about the beneficiaries that are yet to get their stipends. It is believed that all monies owed will be paid before disengagement of Batch A and Batch B volunteers.

For those whose s are owed the March, April and May stipends, your s were flagged by the GIFMIS platform for several reasons. The Ministry is working hard to resolve this. It is no one's fault. We acknowledge the hardship the non-payment of stipends have caused but it would be resolved soon.

Npower Batch A and Npower Batch B Beneficiaries will be disengaged from the Npower programme soon. A lot of persons think it is just a rumor, but we have confirmed this information and it is true.

Npower Batch A beneficiaries will be stopped on the 30th of June, 2020.

Npower Batch B beneficiaries will be stopped the 31st of July, 2020.

According to the Npower board, this disengagement will not be done without providing a plan for all the beneficiaries involved.

There will be a transition process to ensure that beneficiaries affected will not be left stranded.
