For starters,100 words? Or you mean to say a thousand words. Please improve on your word counts o. During my application, I have learnt that the AWA score is very important in selecting candidates for fellowship so think about acing that part of the test too.

Hello, thank you for your input. I would act on it. Warm regards

Hello everyone, i hope our day is going on well.

Please I would be writing GRE in the first week of February and I need tips for the verbal aspect of the test as it is my weak point. I have been following this thread for over 5months now and I have all the material on the Google drive shared on this thread. I have watched all magoosh VIDEOS for both the Quantitative and Verbal. So far I have learnt 100 words on the magoosh app(flashcard).

I took the ETS practise test 1 and my score was 162(Q) 143(V). Which is also the range of scores I have been getting on magoosh test practise. Around 158(Q) 146(V).

I just need some strategies to improve on the verbal aspect.

Your help would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Hi. Data Science, albeit nascent is a burgeoning and lucrative industry. There are many schools offering this course. I wish you could take the GRE before January so you'll make the PhD in Data Science deadline at University of Tennessee Knoxville (Jan 31st). Very well rated. But there're other schools that offer the course. Your options are just limited because of the deadline. Picked this up from a post by a moniker deWav on this thread so you can use the below deadlines to plan your applications.

As for the GRE, you have all the materials you need on this thread. The magoosh and manhattan alongside the ETS guide are recommended for the quant and ETS Guide and Princeton review for the verbal. Also take many practice tests. Goodluck with everything. #Fall2019 #YesWeCan

Thank you for the insights, yes i have ed the GRE books and videos on the google drive link and would be preparing with it. I won't be ready for the GRE by january as i just started preparation.

I would also look up the schools you quoted, thanks, i appreciate your prompt response.

Hello everyone.

I have been a silent follower of this thread for months now, I have finally decided to take the GRE in February. My profile:

Bachelor of Technology in Statistics
CGPA :4.07/5.0
I am planning on going for masters in Statistics or data science in the US, I have applied to some schools for fall 2019 but the GRE is the main section still pending. Hoping to meet up for schools with rolling issions or late deadlines though.

I would appreciate any point or information that would be useful to my GRE and ission process.

Thanks
