4everEdward: I guess he wants to know your occupation to ascertain if it is a required skill in Australia, because on that note, they may overlook the fact that you are partnered with an Aussie, and grant you a work visa. 1 Like |

paradigmshift: She could return to Nigeria for a registry marriage with you because that is what the Australian government recognizes. And when she returns back to Australia, she can update her marital status by including your name and then file for a dependent visa on your behalf. You guys will just need to prove that your union is genuine and ongoing (pictures, marriage certificate, proof of financial , etc). |

PROUDIGBO: I thought the same when I saw the news. R and the use of a defibrillator might have saved him until he is taken to the hospital, but am sure they don't have that equipment or adequate first aid/r training. 1 Like |

Performing R, and using a defibrillator on him might have saved him, but am sure there isn't one present there or staff were not given R/FIRST AID training. RIP to him.

Cutiejewel: If your visa comes with a " no further stay" clause, you won't be able to apply PR, unless you apply for that clause to be removed (which you must give the department good reasons for them to effect it). But if it doesnt come with that clause, then i think you can apply for PRvisa. This is what I think, and stand to be corrected, I am not an expert in this topic. More experienced people on here can help out with advise 6 Likes 4 Shares |

BSMQ for Queensland state nomination is now open https://migration.qld.gov.au/ |

ogbevireo: Always attach yourself with people that are willing to share valuable information with you whenever they have, and you in turn would do same so as not to miss out on a clear PR opportunity. Also, when you feel the time is right for you to submit your visa application, please do so without proscratinating cos no one knows tomorrow, some of my friends failed to apply for 190 last year, and are now being forced to go back to student visa or partner visa (190 is currently on hold in my state due to the pandemic) to stay in the country pending when the state govt start receiving applications. That's my explanation. 4 Likes |

Ikjosh04: 1). No, I didn't learn or enrol for NAATI to claim points. 2). be well informed (this is very very important) so that you don't make any silly mistake that might cost you from getting your PR. Also be smart and have foresight. 3) to be honest with you, i don't really know how to answer this question. dating/relationship life in Aussie is all about equality, if you are the typical African man type, i would say you shouldn't go for a white lady cos there are 70% chance that it wont work, even some black women here will not tolerate that,But if you are ready to embrace gender equality, then you can go for a white lady. i hope i have answered your questions?!. 1 Like |

Experience4u: Got mine Via 190 (state nomination). My student visa subclass as at then was 573 (streamlined visa processing) which was much easier and faster (without bank statement and IELTS). I finished from Uni in 2018, and applied for 485 (2 years temporal graduate visa) that same year. In 2019, i started my Professional year to claim some points on and also got the required IELTS score. I also got a job that helped with my skill assessment. I applied for 190 visa late last year before the pandemic, and got approved last month. i know it took some time cos some of my friends got theirs earlier, but as you know, no case is the same. i just thank God it ended well. 3 Likes |
