Sorry what do you mean

I guess he wants to know your occupation to ascertain if it is a required skill in Australia, because on that note, they may overlook the fact that you are partnered with an Aussie, and grant you a work visa.

is there anyway I can reach you? I just got married To my wife recently in absentia. Her family did the marriage in her absence while we paid the bride price. She is in Australia with student visa Our plan was to use the dependent spouse visa to assist me but the problem now is that when travelling, she didn't write that she was married. So the agent said it's not possible for us to use spouse visa since she didn't indicate initially that she was married. Is this true? We have enough photos and videos together. Right now they are saying I should use school visa and I have only ND. I am so confused. Never been this confused in my life.. I am close to depression

She could return to Nigeria for a registry marriage with you because that is what the Australian government recognizes. And when she returns back to Australia, she can update her marital status by including your name and then file for a dependent visa on your behalf. You guys will just need to prove that your union is genuine and ongoing (pictures, marriage certificate, proof of financial , etc).

Good evening family, pls can someone tell me acceptable container or do de accept zip lock or can u tell me the acceptable way to package my grinded egusi abeg, n other things to avoid being seize in the airport oOoOO.
Thanks in anticipation

They don't allow egusi and grinded pepper since covid, unless they're factory packed and labelled like the ones in supermarkets.
Use a transparent zip lock bag for stock fish, and other edible items, and also label them in English.

Don't plagiarize, you can follow the guideline and get a well written statement of purpose.

Check my topic here on Nairaland on how to "Write the best statement of purpose".

If you need further assistance, you can send a mail to the email address in my signature.

I don't intend to plagiarise. I just need a sample format for guidance. I will definitely go through your topic, and possibly email you. Thanks alot.

Some of these people that slump and die could have been revived with immediate istering of R and defibrillators! This is why, if for nothing else, it’s better you live in a sane, organised and civilised society....at least, then you’d stand a chance of surviving the ordeal if, God forbid, you get a heart attack!

Another thing is, we need to be checking our numbers (BMI, sugar levels, cholesterol level and BP) on a regular basis, so we can discover early any health challenges and adjust our lifestyle accordingly.

I think there should be a law enacted that makes it mandatory for defibrillators to be placed in all public buildings, schools and markets, and all workers (public and private) as well as students, should be given basic training twice a year on how to ister R and defibrillators!

I thought the same when I saw the news. R and the use of a defibrillator might have saved him until he is taken to the hospital, but am sure they don't have that equipment or adequate first aid/r training.

Performing R, and using a defibrillator on him might have saved him, but am sure there isn't one present there or staff were not given R/FIRST AID training. RIP to him.

Good day everyone, this forum is very informative, thanks to the s here.

I recently received my PR grant and I plan to move to Aussie sometime next year. I have been applying for jobs but I'm afraid that recruiters may not be able to reach or respond due to my number not being a local Australian number.

Please I need advice on how to get a local Australian number from outside Australia.

Thanks and God bless you all.

why not wait till you get here before applying for jobs?

please i need urgent help on my inquiry. is there any uni that accepts HND for an Msc program in the UK?

Some schools accept HND for MSc but not sure of the long gap . I think if you have some years of working experience in Geology within that 17 years, You can try applying directly for MSc in Geology and wait for their decision..You have nothing to lose as UK school application is always free of charge and faster than other countries. wink

please do you know of any school that accepts HND for Msc programs?

can someone that travels with subclass 600( visit visa) later get a PR in Aussie?

If your visa comes with a " no further stay" clause, you won't be able to apply PR, unless you apply for that clause to be removed (which you must give the department good reasons for them to effect it). But if it doesnt come with that clause, then i think you can apply for PRvisa. This is what I think, and stand to be corrected, I am not an expert in this topic. More experienced people on here can help out with advise

Please, kindly give more explanation to this number.
Thanks.

Always attach yourself with people that are willing to share valuable information with you whenever they have, and you in turn would do same so as not to miss out on a clear PR opportunity. Also, when you feel the time is right for you to submit your visa application, please do so without proscratinating cos no one knows tomorrow, some of my friends failed to apply for 190 last year, and are now being forced to go back to student visa or partner visa (190 is currently on hold in my state due to the pandemic) to stay in the country pending when the state govt start receiving applications. That's my explanation.

Congrat bro!!

Please, I have 3 questions to ask.

1)Did you learn and enroll for NAATI to boost your Pr points?

2)If you look back at your journey from the Msc to getting your Pr now. What advice will you give pals like me with regards getting the Pr swiftly after Msc without facing any avoidable hurdles you might have faced to get your Pr?

3)Also, how is the dating/relationship life in Aussie from your own perspective?

1). No, I didn't learn or enrol for NAATI to claim points.

2). be well informed (this is very very important) so that you don't make any silly mistake that might cost you from getting your PR. Also be smart and have foresight.

3) to be honest with you, i don't really know how to answer this question. dating/relationship life in Aussie is all about equality, if you are the typical African man type, i would say you shouldn't go for a white lady cos there are 70% chance that it wont work, even some black women here will not tolerate that,But if you are ready to embrace gender equality, then you can go for a white lady. i hope i have answered your questions?!.

Congratulations

Please can you share your transition story from Visa 500 to 887. This may help ginger some people. Thanks

Got mine Via 190 (state nomination). My student visa subclass as at then was 573 (streamlined visa processing) which was much easier and faster (without bank statement and IELTS). I finished from Uni in 2018, and applied for 485 (2 years temporal graduate visa) that same year. In 2019, i started my Professional year to claim some points on and also got the required IELTS score. I also got a job that helped with my skill assessment. I applied for 190 visa late last year before the pandemic, and got approved last month. i know it took some time cos some of my friends got theirs earlier, but as you know, no case is the same. i just thank God it ended well.
