Op sorry oh.

But why you no use your phone collect number?
Why going all the way to the back seat to get your tablet, switch it on then 'dial' the number on your tablet (wey dey make call).

Next time use your phone to collect number, or biro and paper.

Once again... Sorry oh.

bongolistik:
Power banks will definitely have a long term damaging effect on your phone's batteries, though the damages can be negligible. A case study is this, a friend bought Infinix Hot Note exactly by March last year while I bought mine June last year, although I am a 3 times more voracious of my device than him, which is also a big factor to consider. Aside that,

Now, he never used Power Banks on his, while I bought mine together with a power bank and from day 1, I have always used power banks on my device whenever I am not charging through direct power supply.

And here are the outcome;

My friend phone's battery is still solid presently and have not really shown any serious sign of weakness but mine on the other hand started giving me sleepless night just at the beginning of this month that made it exactly 1 year I purchased it.

My battery has become so weak that I will now have to watch the battery drain to empty in just 2hours of usage after a full charge.

In fact I have just placed order for a new replacement battery for my device before it gives me HBP.

The damaging effect of power banks is mostly as result of this: you know power banks are made of cells, and long time usage of the power banks will definitely make the cells to grow weaker and the steady state voltage supply and current coming out from the power bank to the phone while charging the phone with power banks will be weak on its part and will not be perfectly suitable for your phones battery, even if it charges your phone to full battery percentage, it is still weak voltage.

Have you ever wondered why your phone battery last longer after charging it with direct power supply but drains faster on usage immediately after you finish charging it with power banks?

As time goes on this weak voltage from the power bank also weakens your phone battery and cut short it's life span.

But this is Naija, how man go do na, if you don't augment your phone charging with power banks, your phone might likely keep you offline most of the times

Your phone battery is weak because of constant charging and discharging and recharging.
Has nothing to do with the power bank

So I got a message to activate my sim today, along with pick up centers and the benefits to be in the pioneer club.

Partially true - Free on net calls (but only to other of the pioneer club)
Myth - 3 months unlimited browsing (turns out it's just 4 days, till the offer is over April 30th)

Or maybe you didn't understand their offer.

Myth 3 months unlimited browsing.....

It's not just 4 days. They started selling on the 19th, so it's unlimited browsing till 30th, which is about 11 days.
Then unlimited for the next 3 months (no data cap or throttling) as long as you are on any of their bundles..

So if you subscribe for N1K, you get 3 days unlimited
N2, 400 is one week unlimited
N9K is one month unlimited...
... For the next three months

After that fair usage applies.
N1k will give you 'unlimited' with a 3gb fair usage cap, then you get throttled during peak periods
N2, 400 will give you 9gb fair usage then throttle... Etc, etc

So they didn't 'lie', you just didn't read their and conditions properly

I also don't advise using connectify. Use a mifi with your Etisalat or airtel, or connect wired direct with your hynet

I'm fed up with the lack of stable Internet connection. I'm a heavy online gamer and I have MTN Hynet, Globacom, Etisalat and all of them fail me. The best among all of them is Hynet, but even that is a PITA. I have Connectify 7 running on my Laptop, so I just connect to any of them and let Connectify serve the PS3. Sometimes I even wire from Hynet directly to the console, but most of the time, traffic is routed through my router. I just alternate and shake things up until I get a manageable link.

For now, I'm considering a VSAT solution and I may be going YahClick soon.

Hynet dey try but it fails a lot. All isps dey mess up from time to time, but Etisalat is the best for me.

Like I said before, it depends on your area.

Don't even try Yahclick oh, (or any vsat for that matter) for online gaming.

I have Yahclick, I'm paying for their highest home plan, 10Mbps, the thing fast jet, but online gaming is a different story.

It's the worst for online gaming. I'm getting ping test results of over 1000ms, while Etisalat dey give me average of 75-100ms.

Forget about yahclick or vsat for online bros. But if na ing or streaming movies you go enjoy am well well.

Cheers

All that ya list na long thing. Visafone ke

Me and my friends play online everyday with various networks from swift to mobitel, to mtn, to unwired etc.....
And the best, hands down, is etisalat with a mifi, or a usb donlge to share from your lappy, or you create a hotspot with your phone.

Etisalat gives us the lowest ping rates (at its best), and with little or no in-game lag compared to other networks like swift.

The only downside with etisalat is that it is location dependent.

Meaning; you might not be able to get H+ or 3.5g in your area, while the other person in another area will have. But this falls true with the other ISPs as well. But if the newtwork is good in your hood, then go for etisalat. You wont regret it

So before you run out to buy all those modems, just buy etisalat sim card for N200, load 10mb data, and do a quick test in your house.

Games we are currently playing online everyday now are:

Battlefield 4 (beta)
Battlefield 3
Call of Duty Black ops 2
Fifa 13
Fifa 14
Grand Theft Auto V(five)
The Last of US

Fell free to drop your PSN id or xbox gamertag in this thread and we will add you up.

Hope to see you guys online soon.

Cheers.

Well it is beleived that her relationship as the wife of Anenih has actually been a disadvantage to her political career, and she would have been a govenor or the vice president if she was to be judged by her individual contribution to PDP and the Nigerian women and politics in general. She has missed many appointments and even elctives (senator) due to the fact that she is Mrs Anenih.

I have met her on various occassions, and all I have to say is that she is a great woman. Below is a more detailed bio of her (searched for info on google):

She is a member of the Gender Electoral and Constitutional Memoranda Committee, which aims to incorporate women's perspectives in Nigeria's Electoral Laws

She was a Special Adviser on Women Affairs to President Obasanjo until 2006

She has a total commitment and dedication to the growth and development of the nation through the complete utilization of her skill, experience and knowledge.
