Yeah, i had the same thoughts about the older amd APU processors. But this one runs on the latest Ryzen processors that are as power efficient as the 8th gen Intel processors with the added advantage of the integrated vega GPUs . I initially wanted to buy a lenovo laptop that ran on this same processor from Amazon but my ATM card limit hindered the purchase. I just had to settle for the hp laptop
