Of Planes, incompetent Pilots and dying hopes Someone becomes the CEO of an airline. He lacks the competence to run it. Then presents farmers, medical doctors, every other person except qualified pilots to his board for approval to fly the planes. The board, goes on to approve these incompetent misfits to fly the planes, despite the risk and expectant disaster such callous acts portends. In some instances the misfits only had to "appear and bow before the board" and got approved. The incompetent misfits didn't go for training, the board hardly require them to be able or hardly recommend their removal where obvious failure had been seen. Now almost all the planes are killing lives and dreams. Planes for Education, Power supply, Security, Health, Youth and Sport, are dysfunctional, killing hopes, dreams and lives of many. The board that approved them and the CEO that appointed the misfits think they have done very good job. In some cases, the misfits despite causing great damage and harm, are rewarded with more juicy remuneration or national awards. The organisations that has brought about such devastation, is asking that they be allowed to continue. Almost no plane is working, the misfits incharge having no clue what to do have totally damaged everything. Economy, petroleum, electricity, security, education, all planes have been badly damaged. The CEO goofed in hiring, seemed unable to fire any, while the 'anything-goes' board, stays ing the decay and continuous damage, while they keep fighting to retain their space in the board and access to milking a bleeding broke company at the brink of bankruptcy. The End.

Let us have a Shadow Government made up of young people. We can have our Shadow cabinet , serve as Ministers for health, Justice, Technology and Innovation, sports, information, Labour and employability, environment, etc. ======== This new effective system can overtime, replace the current obsolete ones. A breeding ground for the new transformational leaders of today and tomorrow, competent and equipped to innovatively proffer solutions in this present global economy. ======== Instead of waiting till 2023, there is a lot we can do now as the team of coordinators and volunteers at the recent ENDSARS protests and other young Nigerians, have shown in this past 2 weeks. ======== A Shadow government of the young, by the young, and for the young. If the foundation of the system is faulty, there is little that can be done. It makes it necessary for a new system to be built upon a new foundation. ======== We have today, an opportunity to build new decentralized and working systems, that will continuously serve us & over time expose the uselessness and wastage of both time and resources of this present system. ======== Instead of fighting for a place in a table with broken legs, with human flesh and blood mixed in the meals served, We can create our own table, our own platform, our own system. These and more are possible, when there is unity in purpose. ======== Genesis 11:6-7 See 6. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then NOTHING THEY PLAN TO DO WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE for them. 7. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."

A competition can be organized in the community, village, or City that can see many people scramble for the grand prize and other prizes. 6. Community Center Each community should hve a community center where young people can gather to play games & learn from one another. Board games, and others like Table Tennis, Snooker, etc. The center can have a hall which can be rented for events to raise funds for maintenance. 7. Community Library & ICT Center Today, we have fewer libraries. Access to books on various subjects can fuel ion for knowledge among the young. With computers and internet connectivity, more young people can get exposed to knowledge & answers that can shape them positively.

In Nigerian, there is still an urgent need to create more jobs, reduce cultism, rape and other vices. When young people are productively engaged, they will have less time/need to indulge in negative vices Solution: The Government, Private sector, NGOs, Religious institutions, those looking to immortalize a loved one and HNIs, can organize programs to help get young people positively engaged. I will be sharing some of such programs or events that can help increase productive engagement of our young people. I will summarize them and be available for more clarification should anyone be interested in implementing. 1. Interschool - Intercommunity Chess Competition Chess is a game that can help teach young people to strategize and manage their every move towards winning. Organise a chess competition with a Grand prize for the Winner, 2nd, 3rd position and other consolation prizes. For those who don't know how to play chess, Volunteers can be sent to the schools to teach in 1 hour learning sessions after school. There is a chess guru somewhere that is waiting to be introduced to the game. When they are busy playing chess they won't have time for crime.
