The way marriages keep deteriorating in the stories we read is really scary. What will make a once loving man/woman turn against the person they once were so much in love with, that they swore on the Bible (for Christians) to cherish and hold till death part them?

A lot of immature people enter into marriage without properly understanding the concept of marriage and love/submission, which alright, because knowledge is progressive they can learn in the process. This is akin to a young inexperienced 16-year old gaining ission into a University. You gain experiences along the line that would sharpen your skills, knowledge and learning. You weather it all because there is a goal in perspective.

But because marriage is a lifelong relationship, most people see the other side of their unrealistic expectations of their spouses, and tend to panic and back out. They opt for divorce as an alternative because they can’t keep up with their unmet expectations.

So, I met a Professor who said he’s making a research on marriages, and is proposing the following:

1. How long should marriages last? This is from the experience that when there’s an expiry date to a product, the consumers cherish that product until the last day. If couples know that their marriages will last for five years and renewable, both parties will endure themselves and find out if they would like to renew their marital vows.

2. Any marriage that is dissolved but have children should not lay claims to the children anymore but provide upkeep for them in a shelter home. This means that the couples won’t have access to their children after separation, but must be responsible for their upkeep, education, and other matters relating their their health, etc.

3. Any man or woman who is separated from a legally contracted marriage should not have children anymore, especially if they had children from their marriage.

4. Marriages built on deceit and falsehood will attract jail term for the offender.

I will advise anyone who wants to marry to carefully do a detailed review and checks on their partners before committing themselves.

Since SIM fought hard not to be an errand boy for Wike, another person is willing to do their bid. Don’t forget we are still in Nigeria where shame is not an issue for those who are supposed to be morally responsible.

In all these achievements, I didn’t read anywhere in the long epistle where he cited projects in Nkporo Community, where he got 100% votes as Governor in 1999. Apart from the votes, the elites of this community also ed and he got same 100% votes in 2003, and has continued to enjoy the of this community even though the immediate past Deputy Governor hails from Nkporo and a strong PDP leader, whereas OUK is in the APC.

Nkporo community is just a stone throw from Igbere, and deserves much more being in the Senatorial District that Orji Uzor Kalu superintends. The Senator visits at will and would have encountered the horrible state of the roads leading to the community. He would also have noticed that the lack of electricity is a major concern for the residents. The schools are in very poor conditions and there is no access to clean water apart from the water gotten from the streams.

The security in the community needs to be beefed up as there have been reports of frequent attacks. The last heavy downpour caused flooding that damaged the homes of several residents, including farmlands and those who have taken up fishing as a profession. The land is good and fertile and the people are also known to be good farmers, especially in palm tree growing and farming.

Let us call on the attention of the former Governor who has a good relationship with the current Governor, Alex Otti to make Nkporo work better.

No human being is too knowledgeable to remain in power; we can also try others where need be.

There is a legend about you that you never abandon those who you, please don't abandon Femi Fani Kayode.

Please Sir, forget all the unprintable names he called you in the past, he only delivered on the Job he was given at those moment, now he is ready to work with you.

Forgive and forget and give him one portfolio even if it is a small one, nothing is too small.

Yours Faithful,

The President is already doing away with people who are denting his public image in both internal and international communities. A President who is still dealing with his “past life” and giving signs of genuine repentance. Is that the same person you want to attach an uncouth politician to himself? A politician who follows the smell of food?

There are a lot better people and FFK has done his role leading to the elections; I’m sure he was settled handsomely.

if the police pick that person up for issuing threats, you'll start hearing how the Police is very useless and how whoever the threatened is bullying him or her because the person is well connected or wealthy....

When some Nigerians misbehave by showing just how stupid and ignorant they are, they always like claiming the victim when the law start showing them just how stupid and ignorant they are. Bunch of useless whelp.

The Police/DSS usually pick on those who are without “connections” with the high and mighty. There have been death threats made by certain individuals like MC Oluomo, Asari Dokubo, etc that are well documented, and despite calls for their arrests nothing has been done to date. This is why the International Community rates Nigeria so low on so many levels.

To what end is this message?

Do you know how many Igbo people voted for Tinubu against Obi? Do you even understand that most people who voted for the Labour Party did so because they are already fed up with the current APC istration and did not want to vote for the PDP either, irrespective of tribe?

If you begin to open threads like this to post pro-ethnic and pro-religious messages, you are not better than those who are calling for the annihilation of a particular tribe.

The political arena is deeper than what is being shown on the surface in Nigeria, especially.

My Sir,

Those politicians felt Betrayed,I know of 1 that sent one family children to school from primary to tertiary educational level and even gave free accommodation not minding the tribe the family came from but those people came and said to her and i quote " that she has done nothing for them" what do you expect her to do ?

My dear HISTORIAN,

Even in our families where we come from, there are people of the same blood who feel threatened by your success, and plan evil to eliminate you talk less of someone who is not your relative.

I sheltered a cousin of mine, helped him get a job, contributed in his marriage. In fact, from his primary education to the University, my Foundation which was started by my parents sponsored his education along with other persons. He was caught in the act planning to kidnap the person who trained him.

When we do good, genuinely expect nothing from the person who benefitted from your deeds because your reward will come from another source. Don’t feel betrayed when people don’t return your kindness and love. Respect people but set boundaries.

I get recommendations from people of different tribes and races, but the common man is sold the propaganda that they ride on to kill themselves. No big man hates another big man, because they all have their interests to protect.

Thanks Great
if you could recall truthfully that many called peter obi out on social media even to the extent that on threatened to take him to court if he doesn't declare his ambition,Please check online for proof, Now to the best of my Knowledge you can't be a yoruba man and be claiming PATRICK in school,No matter your exposure, you'd want to be attached with your Origin,See all this Playing Out now Isn't your Fault I blame all the so called elderly one's here in Our Land...Because no matter the Matter a IGBO person will alway add CHI something to there names.

And mind you when is election time expect to hear stories that you've never heard before about your family

My HISTORIAN,
I understand your submission, but the Igbo man or woman is not the problem in our dear Lagos State. Our common enemy is that politician who derives pleasure in seeing people hate each other for their personal gain.

Do you know that politicians arm youths and endanger their lives, while their own children are abroad schooling and mingling with other tribes and people of other races? Think.

There has been peaceful coexistence between these tribes, until the elections came. The politicians won because they have succeeded in separating families who hitherto were intermarrying themselves and living peacefully.

About GRV, he has the Lagos blood running in his veins and has always stood for the Yoruba people, from all that has been known about him.

During the #EndSARS protest, the bullets from the military who were on the orders of the politicians did not ask what tribe to shoot before opening fire on the youths. Think.

Tinubu Faleke are yorubas and it is more understanbable for them to rule in a southwest state. Leave southwest people with their politics. Other ethnic group contests for house of rep and all within their dominated region in Lagos, they don't make noise about it and do their stuffs.
But meddling up to state governorship and wailing over their politics, dragging it with them and making noise is actually pushing your luck too far.
Leave Yoruba people with their family matter, if they like, let them carry Ondo people to rule in Ekiti, or carry Oyo to rule in Osun. It is not your business

Now, how did the Igbo tribe meddle into the Lagos Politics?, because as far as I know, Igbos are in other popular South West States, and even Adeleke Whose mother is Igbo is Governor of Osun State. Why was there no disapproval from them? Don’t allow yourself to be used against a tribe, going about their legitimate business.

Think about this!

look at peter obi some people pushed him out to contest for presidency even though he has the Ambition before.
so please get your data and facts right before typing

Great HISTORIAN,

Now, tell us who pushed Peter Obi to contest; and secondly let us know how the Igbo tribe tried to force themselves on the Yoruba people in the Governorship elections in Lagos State. To be best of my knowledge, all the candidates on the ballot are of the Yoruba ethnic stock.

Northerners are in Lagos minding their business, they go out to vote quietly and return home. No noise
But some other people are in Lagos and will not let everybody have peace, na una go follow southwest people drag politics, drag house of rep seats and make noise it is no man’s land.
And when they reacted you begin to cry victim.

Which kind Wahala be this people?

Maybe you don’t know that there are Igbo people living and working in other Southwestern States apart from Lagos. The clamour and enthusiasm shown in Lagos was not by the Igbo people alone, but by the real indigenous Lagosians who believe that Non-indigenes have taken over the Government and control of the State. Tinubu, Fashola, Sanwo-Olu, Aregbesola, Yemi Osinbajo, Faleke, etc are not indigenous Lagosians.

In Plateau, the people were fed up with the APC and voted along their convictions. Stop giving it a tribal coloration.

Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo are known to be one of the greatest competitors to have played this round letter game, those guys were BAD men!!!
(1) Give an antonym for the word BAD as used in the age. (A) Good (B) Great (C) Rotten (D) Smart.

You'll agree with me that option C best fits that sentence. So, learn rather than make fun a fine expression as we anticipate more schooling.

A colleague has even asked the police to help him locate his landlord so that he can pay up his rent to no avail. The said landlord is neither picking his calls nor responding to SMS. He has been avoiding his house like a plague for a while now. His family does not live with him and no one knows his whereabout.

I hope to give this message as much publicity it deserves, and this is my own take so far concerning the issue of blasphemy which has found its way into our everyday vocabulary in Nigeria, recently.

Religion in Nigeria, before the "White man" brought what they called "civilization", was not known to cause problems in ancient times. Different tribes practised whatever could grant them divine intervention in their daily human affairs. We read in history how the Yorubas worshipped the different gods/deities of Ogun, Shango, Òbatala, etc. The Ibos worshipped Agwu, Amadioha, Ikenga, etc. The Hausas worshipped Barbushe, Baleri, Tsimburbura, etc in the pre-Islamic times. The functions of the different gods is a matter for further discourse another time.

When Christianity and Islam were introduced to Nigeria, two major Books were introduced also; the Bible and Quran which served as a guide in practising these religions, succinctly put. Both books are seen as holy, and most of all the texts written therein is seen to unite the human race while suing for peace in the world at large.

How then did we get it wrong, and at what time? For instance, people view things the way they are, and not how those things actually are. There came radical preachers whose interpretation of these texts conveyed their personality. Their views became popular because of their type of audience. They preached violence, extracting texts and inciting division amongst people who shared same faith. Because the people being preached to had similar personalities, it was easier to inculcate such to them. The Hausas/Fulanis and to a large extent most Northerners are known warriors who never give up in battles until they win. We see this in their doggedness in politics and businesses. The average nomad or even wristwatch seller carries daggers/knives with him. It's established fact. In the face of slight provocations, they brandish their weapons to maim or even kill.

On the other hand, the Southerners enjoy making education a priority, especially the Yorubas. It shows in the statistics of Professors and professionals in the different fields. It is rare to find a core Northerner dominating in fields known to the Yorubas. They are usually celebrated when such happens. An understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of our diverse tribes is important. Anything that hinders their successes in this field meets resistance. But because they are learned, they often fear to act crude. They won't fight but follow diplomacy, hence the phrase used that they are cowards. The Ibos drive the economy of the nation. Whether in business or the corporate world, they enjoy so much successes. It is often said that if you find yourself in a place where there is no Ibo person or Coca Cola, you know you are in danger. They have no leader right from time who they listen to. The few leaders are often selfish and egoistic to the detriment of their subordinates. Igbo enweghe Eze!

With all these background information, how could we not make the most of it in a country blessed with so much natural resources?

The answer is simple. The Nigerian people are FRUSTRATED! A country so blessed with human talents, natural resources and great potentials lack a set of leaders who can harness all of these in making Nigeria great. Leaders are often an offshoot of followers. It is the followers who eventually become leaders. The followers manifest what they are taught in their homes, the schools and places of worship. This is where the crux of the matter lies. Every religious, political or business leader ed through these phases and some droplets of imbibing were deposited in them. How can a man kill his fellow human being without blinking or even remorseful?

Why hide under religion to commit heinous crimes? This is because religion is held sacred in Nigeria and often seen as superior to the laws governing the country. Hence, the matter becomes sensitive once a religious colouration is given to it. The murders of certain persons under the guise of religion is always hurriedly swept under the carpet than if it had no religious inclinations. We must learn to live in the type of peace written in texts in the holy books.

Another point of mention is that fighting for a god who we do not see makes us senseless and crude, and better than that which we claim to worship. You protect your god, instead of the other way round where divinity supersedes humanity. It makes no sense. When you insult a dibia or babalawo, whether in words or actions, the repercussions usually come spiritually. They do not fight you physically. That is worthy of emulation to both the Christian and Muslim Communities.

These quote has made my day:

"Islam teaches tolerance, not hatred; universal brotherhood, not enmity; peace, and not violence."
— Pervez Musharraf, Pakistani politician

"Religion doesn't make people bigots. People are bigots and they use religion to justify their ideology."
— Reza Azlan, author and public intellectual
