African Doll, the US-based lady allegedly impregnated by gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has said she will keep the baby because she doesn’t believe in abortion.

She had on Monday called out the singer, saying she didn’t require him to bow to her but turning his back on her is wrong.

”We both know that we didn’t use protection. We both know that we were wrong. There is still a way to handle things. He didn’t handle it right. I am not saying he has to bow to me but there is a way you do things.

Turning your back on me is wrong. Any woman on earth won’t feel okay about it. It doesn’t feel good to be abandoned or to be thrown to the side. I cannot be walking around thinking about it, life goes on,”
she told Obodo Oyinbo TV.

On the plans she has for the pregnancy, African Doll said, “I will keep the baby, I don’t really believe in abortion. Fornication is a sin. The bible says he who is without sin should cast the first stone. It is not my intention to hurt anybody but to bring life to the situation.”

Her interview was immediately followed by an apology tendered by Sammie Okposo to his wife and others while confessing about an intimate relationship he had with a woman when he travelled to the US.

This is as he suspended himself from all ministerial works “until full restoration.”

The singer apology read in part, “Dear Friends, I need to bring a very unfortunate incident to your attention as I am not proud of it but know that this is the right thing to do.

“On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021), I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife, Ozioma, my family and me.

“As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking His forgiveness, I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people.

“To my wife, Ozioma, I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you.

“Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgement is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day forth.”

Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Tuesday, released prophetic warnings concerning the forthcoming national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), People Democratic Party (PDP) and the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele revealed that the convention of the APC will lead to another crisis in the party if care isn’t taken.

He warned the leadership of the party to handle it well to avoid more issues coming up within the party as a result of the convention.

”APC must be careful of their convention, if not handled well, it will cause more crisis in the party.”

On the PDP, the man of God warned the leaders to be careful so they won’t break the party themselves.

He revealed that a third force may spring up from the opposition party due to the activities of the leaders.

”PDP must be careful with what they are doing, they will break the party; and if care isn’t taken, third force might surface from that end.”

He also warned Wike to be careful so he won’t make the party miss their chances in 2023.

“Governor Wike must also be careful so he won’t break the PDP. He may make PDP miss their chances in 2023 if he continues to bring setbacks in the party.

“The BOT of PDP should look into the matter, if not, they will miss it.”

Still speaking on Wike, Primate Ayodele noted that he foresees PDP governors fighting him while the EFCC will also go after his government.

“I also see PDP governors fighting Nyesom Wike. EFCC will also go after his government.”

He further warned him not to start a project he can’t finish, while advising him not to run for presidency because he won’t win.

“Wike should not start a project he can’t finish in PDP. He won’t become president in case he has an ambition.”

Continuing, Primate Ayodele spoke on the future of Iyochia Ayu, the national chairman of PDP, making it known that his duty will be hijacked and that he will be driven out of the party unceremoniously.

“In PDP, the duty of the national chairman will be hijacked. Ayu will be driven out of the party unceremoniously.”

Gospel artist Sammie Okposo has apologised to his wife, family, friends, and fans for his recent act of infidelity.

The singer took to his verified Instagram page and Instagram story to tender the apology.

“I need to bring a very unfortunate incident to your attention as I am not proud of it but know that this is the right thing to do,” he began.

“On my recent trip to the USA (late 2021), I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel.

“I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife, Ozioma, my family and I.”

Continuing, he said’ “As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness, I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people.

“To my wife, Ozioma. I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you.

“Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgment is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day for the rest of my life.

“I want to take this moment and apologise to all Fathers and Mothers of the Faith and ministers of the Gospel for my behavior and moral failure. I won’t be here if not for your investment and belief in what God has called me to do. I sincerely apologise for this embarrassing situation.

“To all that have been a part of my ministry, followed my ministry or know me personally, I am truly sorry for disappointing you.

I regret any pain or disappointment that this news of my moral failure and poor judgement may cause you and I am truly sorry for disappointing you. I humbly ask that you continue to pray for me.”

Okposo got married to Ozioma in July 2010.

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye and midfielder, Alex Iwobi, were subjected to cyberbullying by fans, including death threats, after Nigeria’s exit from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Sunday following a 1-0 defeat to Tunisia.

Youssef Msakni scored the only goal of the encounter with a strike from 25 yards out to fire Tunisia to the last eight and break Nigerian hearts.

Some fans felt Okoye should have saved Msakni’s effort, while Iwobi was sent off for a foul after just six minutes on the pitch for what was deemed to be a dangerous tackle.

Iwobi had been sent into the game in the 59th minute for Kelechi Iheanacho to help change the complexity of the game, but his sending off further piled pressure on the midfield and the defence.

An Instagram @Clifford_Marius under a picture posted by Okoye wrote, “It will not be well with you. I pray you don’t see next month, you will die in a plane crash.”

@la_isle on Instagram wrote, “Maduka, you will not live long. You sold this AFCON match to the Tunisians.”

@pelexofLagos wrote, “Maduka Okoye, God will punish you and your family, your incompetence cost us AFCON.”

Striker Sadiq Umar had also been a subject of online bullying over his performance in some of the country’s group stage games.

Okoye and Iwobi were also subjects of social media memes.

However, they took individual action to reduce the effects of the abuses, with Okoye restricting comments on his Instagram handle, while Iwobi deleted all pictures on his page.

The Everton midfielder had previously deactivated his Twitter following the online abuses.

Nigeria crashed out of the 33 rd Africa Cup of Nations after an unfortunate 1-0 loss at Roumde Adjia stadium Garoua, to Tunisia on Sunday. One of the major actors on the night was winger Simon Moses, whose exploits in the group stages made him a target for opposing defenders.

Indeed he received most of the attention from the Tunisians that he could hardly do any of those things he used to do in previous matches. Simon was clipped and the Super Eagles suffered.

He spoke with Sports Vanguard at Hotel Le Ribadou in Garoua yesterday. “Football is team work. I am used to it. What I used to do for my club is what I also do for the national team, even though they are two different entities,” the Nantes forward answered to a question on what he felt he could have done to save the team. “We all worked hard, it was only unfortunate that things didn’t go our way.”

He was full of apologies to Nigerians, Moses said, on the flip side, ”it is good because it is an experience I will learn a lot from. Same for the team. It happened so that everyone can learn from his mistakes and work on how to correct them.”

He confessed he was in tears, like most of his other colleagues because he couldn’t swallow the loss. “I thought about the Nigerian fans, I thought about my family and thought about myself and I said, this was not what we thought to do. We did not prepare for this. We wanted to go forward, but it did not turn out that way. The entire scenario was dampening.“

The nimble-footed winger said the Eagles were determined to compensate Nigerians with the 2022 FIFA World Cup ticket.

“Nigerians should be hopeful because our hope is to go to the World Cup. That is the only thing that can gladden their hearts and lift their spirits. I believe we will do everything within our powers to be at the World Cup.
