Some people say it was mandated to be just 5 minutes. But others argue it's only 3 minutes, especially if you’ve paid there’s no reason to tire yourself further. I spoke to a young guy who says it should be no less than 20 minutes to preserve respect especially if it's your gf or Wyf. The other one i met says it should be 30 minutes for the Sugar mommas because you are fed, clothed and given money so that time serves as part of compensation. I’ve tried to look into the national constitution and I haven’t seen anything on this. I haven’t seen any mention of this issue, and I haven’t seen any official guidance from the government either. I’m asking if there’s anyone with knowledge or expertise on this matter, what exactly is the bare minimum time and average ? |

Sharpsharp00123: President can come from any Tribe especially the small ones |

IMPORTANT: I see some people doubting my nationality, here you go brothers and sisters, i posted this thread in 2023 >> https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/7748922/educated-nigerians-it-true-contract Pardon my english where you will find errors, its not my main language I was interested to know more about Nigeria ever since i was fond of Nigerian movies in Late 90s to 2000s, by that time i thought all Nigerians wear red caps, greet by saying igwe, and other stuff but it was later when i knew it was just one tribe. Any way to cut the story short, with the rise of internet i digged deeper and knew about the Biafra war which i wouldn't like to talk more of it but i was just surprised how the Igbos bounced back fast, That's when i realized they are good in making money. BUT ! i heard Igbos complaining Tribalism, at first i had pitty on them but as i dug deeper i somehow see the problem is also in IGBOS. Being Loud at your neighbour homes is a big problem for Igbos, Its okay to be loud when you are successful at your home or far away in foreign lands, example Igbos can be loud in South East or in other countries outside Nigeria, The same to Yoruba can also be Loud in South west of other countries. Problem with Igbos, Being Loud at neighbours example Lagos, and the loud i am speaking of also includes being provocative to natives, Just imagine your neighbour coming to the place you live and even ancestors lived a long time and they start to say it is no mans land, Chai ! (one of the few catchy words i liked when watching Nigerian movies) The little small small success you have you start rubbing it on the natives, this is why uts very easy to shift a blame in Igbos, people already have a grudge it takes a little spark to make them burn the Igbo shops, destroy houses, etc. How dare you go to a neighbour house and start flexing as if you own it, the land their grand fathers resided, NOT IN MY HOUSE !! I don't know much about the northern parts but for the little i know those places its more about religion, the places are filled with Muslims and even worse headed by these traditional rich leaders who wear like Arab sultans, i think those places play no games, So Nigeria has 3 main Tribes Hausa, Yoruba's and Igbos but only 2 will be in charge, bad enough from what i have seen from the power game. the Igbos are left so behind, left to follow not to make decisions for a long time. The only way Igbo can have power is getting on the same pace with Yoruba's, i will even praise Yoruba's they are some how with open arms, ready to be good neighbours if the Igbos are willing to change. I know the Igbos are good in business, i have come across random lists of top rich people in Nigeria, lists are flooded by Hausas like Dangote (he has a cement factory in Tanzania) and Yoruba's but when it comes to wealth distribution that is what matters more and Igbos have good ratio But then its still incomplete without power, money is just paper and the one in power can make it disappear with a snap of finger, it can be kind of alright by now but what about the future ? Even in business you might be good but if those in power use it to an extent to block or hinder you there is little you can do, it might be alright today but what about future ? There is no Oduduwa, Arewa or Biafra, Its already Nigeria, with any possible means try to co exist with others, 18 Likes 3 Shares |

One of the most common questions many guys ask themselves is: "What kind of woman should I marry?" Today, I want to break that down clearly for everyone's benefit. I’m going to focus on men who are looking to start a family for the first time, are financially stable, and are in the age range of 20–35. Let me introduce a simple but powerful principle for choosing the right wife: VSP – Virginity, Submissiveness, and Productivity. 1. Virginity First off – yes, virgin women still exist. The difficulty of finding one depends entirely on your social circle. Now, here are the three key reasons why you should strongly consider marrying a virgin: a. Spiritual Bonding - In the spiritual world, any act that involves the spilling of blood represents a covenant. When a virgin woman bleeds during her first intercourse, that blood symbolizes a spiritual contract between the two souls. That’s deep. So, if you marry a woman who’s already lost her virginity, you can’t form that same spiritual connection. Spiritually, she’s already "married" to the man who took her virginity. b. Psychological Impact - Every woman re her exes. Consciously or subconsciously, she’s comparing you to them. And let’s be real – you won’t outdo all of them in every category. That mental comparison creates emotional instability. She’ll be thinking: “With that guy, I got X but missed out on Y. With this guy, I’m getting Y but missing Z.”, She is already exposed and that’s where disrespect may creep in, and eventually, the temptation to go outside the marriage to chase fantasies she’s still holding on to. c. Respect from another Males - As a man, your respect in the eyes of other men matters especially when it comes to your wife. No man can truly respect you if he has already seen your wife naked and slept with her before or after you married her. This is why, for many men, cheating is unforgivable. Some guys will deny it, but that’s just surface level talk. Deep down, this is how most men are wired. 2. Submissiveness - Respect and submissiveness go hand in hand. A woman who is submissive to her husband boosts chances of a stable long lasting marriage. Marry a woman who understands that her strength is in complementing her man’s roles, not competing. 3. Productivity What does she bring to the table? And no, I’m not just talking about money. I mean: How does she contribute to the growth of the family ? If she’s a stay at home wife, is she organized, managing the home efficiently, sticking to a budget, avoiding wasteful spending ? If she works, do her earnings reflect in the household expenses? Is she contributing to the financial stability of the family, or just spending mostly on herself ? Conclusion Young man, when you choose to marry, know that it’s not just about love or wanting to start a family. Marriage hands over control of your future economically, emotionally and spiritually to a woman. Don’t rush it. Take your time. Vet thoroughly. |

In Lagos, being old and broke is tough. The daily hustle alone can make you feel the weight of your age. Public transport is a mess, it’s chaos. People don’t care if you’re struggling or in need; they’re too busy with their own issues. You could be complaining about the poor service, and some young person will look at you and say, “you’ve been here all your life and still haven’t figured it out?” It stings, but there's some truth to it. Old age while broke is not for dealing with Lagos’ endless noise and madness. The city is always buzzing—street vendors everywhere, people arguing, and it’s a constant rush. As an elder it’s better to leave Lagos and go back to the village / rural. There, you can farm, raise animals, etc. 5 Likes |

wazobeer: Many Africans still have a tribalism mindset, even in adoption. |
![]() |
wazobeer: There are many rich Arabs, Indians and chinese, do your research. There are plenty of white orphans too, yet Europeans often choose to adopt children from different races and countries, including Black children. Black kids in Africa often face far worse conditions |

It's no surprising news when wealthy white adopts kid, But it is super rare to find a rich Arab, chinese or Indian

Add also Wealthy Indians and wealthy Chinese It's normal like a sun rise to see wealthy christians adopting black kids Balotelli was adopted by white people. white people adopt a large number of black children in countries with famine, war, poverty, etc and take them to Europe and America as their own. I several years ago, after completing my degree, I was fortunate enough to secure a job. I worked diligently, but my boss at the time disliked me immensely. Every day, there was drama—one issue after another—leaving me extremely stressed about work. At some point, I was accused of insulting my colleagues—a disaster on top of another disaster. I going on my normal leave, as is the right of any employee, only to be informed by my colleagues that someone had been hired to perform my duties while I was away. What a nightmare! The day I returned to work, I found a new employee sitting at my desk and using my computer. I didn’t know where to sit or what tasks to perform. I ended up spending the whole day on a bench. Eventually, we started sharing the computer I had been using—taking turns to get work done. It was such a struggle! One day, the assistant to my boss called me aside in a humane manner and told me, "There’s no work for you here. If you can, start applying elsewhere because they’re just waiting for you to make a small mistake to get you fired." I was left in a dilemma. Then, one day, while caught in city traffic, I was late to work by about ten minutes. My boss immediately wrote to the HR office, saying he was unwilling to continue working with me. One HR officer told me I could either write a resignation letter or wait to be fired. Seeing how messy things had become, I decided to write a one-month resignation letter. From the day I wrote that letter, my boss stopped following up on me. I kept reporting to work out of defiance until the one month ended, and I was paid my benefits. Life moved on. The first challenge after leaving work was waking up in the morning and not knowing where to go. You find yourself hating the workplace you left—you don’t even want to by it anymore. Former colleagues start distancing themselves, and some even ghost you completely. Neighbors and relatives begin gossiping about you. If you’re not careful, you might fall into depression or even contemplate suicide. I was able to fight through life without a job, and now I’ve managed to stand strong outside formal employment 3 Likes |

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has officially issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, It's also issued warrants for Hamas leader Mohammed Deif over alleged war crimes committed during military operations in Gaza. This marks another monumental decision from the ICC, placing Netanyahu alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin on the list of sitting leaders wanted for international crimes. But the spotlight doesn’t stop with Netanyahu. Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden, former and current U.S. Presidents, may soon find themselves under ICC scrutiny. Here's why: 👉 Weapons Supply: The U.S. has been a consistent supplier of advanced weaponry to Israel, often used in conflicts that draw widespread condemnation. 👉 Technological : Key military and surveillance technologies have been developed and shared between the U.S. and Israel under both istrations. 👉 Diplomatic Shielding: U.S. leaders have repeatedly vetoed or blocked international resolutions critical of Israeli actions, shielding Netanyahu’s government from ability. 👉 Public Endorsement: Netanyahu has been invited multiple times to address Congress, reflecting strong political and strategic alignment. As the ICC’s net tightens on global leaders accused of enabling war crimes, Biden and Trump risk facing arrest warrants for their alleged complicity. The ICC’s jurisdiction and authority are often contested by major powers, but these developments signal a growing willingness to challenge even the most powerful figures on the international stage. The world watches closely as this chapter unfolds. Will this be the start of a new era of ability, or will it deepen geopolitical tensions? |

President Biden was caught in an awkward moment during former President Obama's White House return. The most powerful man in the country wondering around like a lost puppy. No one paying any attention to him. You know things are bad when the president of the United States can leave a crowded room and no one even notices. I’d say it’s pretty evident that Obama is the one in charge by the arrogant and dismissive way Obama treated Biden here. Biden taps obama on the shoulder but Obama doesn't give a damn to listen what Biden wants to say. Kamala is literally glowing standing next to Obama while totally ignoring Biden. It was no joke, When Obama said, "Vice president Biden." Actions speak LOUDER then words. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3_OErSLCfw . 2 Likes |

Sometimes in a man's life you can find yourself in a lucky condition of being given the fruit easily and luckily. I was at university at my third year i was walking around and found a first year girl very sad,i approached her and asked her what was the problem, She told me she had failed 1 subject and was supposed to do supplementary exams, I almost laughed since i myself i had 3 supplementary exams and i was already used to them, I gave her hope that1 supplementary is nothing compared to us and the stories went on and on, I told her we should go at my place to watch a movie she agreed. That was it i ate her fruit very luckily and effortlessely. After one week i wanted to date her and she refused, ![]() ![]() 11 Likes |
