Stop ing half smart people dude. Nigeria's debt is mostly in dollars. It makes sense that once the Naira depreciates against the dollar ( it did by almost 50% ), the equivalent in Naira will increase accordingly.
In my view it is wrong to translate the debt value to Naira when it will be paid with dollar. OBJ debt payment, it was in dollar and the press didn't need to translate it to Naira because the money used to offset it didn't come from tax or Naira . People politicize thing blindly alot.
