occam: Volunteering is just the same as slavery. Don't waste your time working for free. Any company that values your contribution to their bottom line should pay for your effort.i disagree my brother. volunteering is one of the ways experience is gained and also an avenue for being choosen for a job when ever there is an opening any where. when u volunteer u are also training urself for a better opportunity in the future 1 Like |

U can imagine an ing graduate whose only experience is truck driving, this can affect his/her chances of getting an ing-related jobs. This is patheticlook my friend times have changed. The economy is not smiling and the chances of finding a job that is similar to what you read is next to zero due to our population and extremely bad and cruel government. wake up and welcome to the new economy. |

dangote is not the only one in the cement business people. There are cement factories in shagamu and Ewekoro in the west and there is also one is the south that is technically being managed by the chinese and in the north there is one in sokoto and Gombe state all this are not dangote owned so please he is not monopolizing it. he is just investing big in it and i laud him for that. i did my thesis on cement production so i have toured most of the cement plants in the north so i know much abt them

@adeoflagos i understand ur point ur making but i would still stress that in this case of taraba state the likelyhood for petroleum to be found there is next to nil. look u dont get crude oil in a basement complex terrain. even all the reservior rocks. and the source rocks u talked about are all sedimentary rocks . the temperature of formation of crude oil is between 60 to 80 degrees. now wat is d temperature of magmas that comes up during volcanic eruptions 1500 degrees or more crude would be destroyed at this temperature. and this temperature favoures the formations of solid mineral deposits. u cant find gold in the Niger delta and u cant find oil in places where u have gold and other solid minerals that are formed at very high temperatures. i stand to be corrected though.
