₦3.5b or ₦3.5trillion? If it's ₦3.5b,it's honestly not news worthy considering the level of embezzlement by the average governor, even in non oil rich states. Security vote in Rivers state alone per month won't be anything less than ₦5b,so why would Wike bother himself embezzling a mere ₦3.5b? 3 Likes |

RollinTNDA:Na so! You think it's that easy to alter metre. Occasionally yes,but if you do it for a full day,not even a week on a consistent basis, you would be found out by motorists or the owner one way or the other. Besides that, have you seen when metres are being configured? You think it's something anyone working in a fuel station can do? Even most managers can't do it,they have to call a technician with the knowledge to adjust the metre. They throw any kind of story for you people and you believe hook, line and sinker. Yes,in big urban centres, attendants can make money through tips or other means, but metre tampering, oboy,na lamba. During scarcity too thats when they also make enough extra dough 1 Like 1 Share |

There must be something about Tuface that has made this lady to loose everything called inhibition,to be going all gaga and like she is even the one pursuing him because this is not ordinary love. This is obsession. Something others are not seeing. I doubt it's just the sex because she can easily get that with her money and office. Something else has made her to want to live and die with a seperated father of many children than dating a single guy. 20 Likes 1 Share |

Such a major plant, according to this report and the president was not there to commission it?I highly doubt this story, especially since the source is a face book post. It could just be any other medium gas producing facility or maybe not even fully functional yet,but the poster wants to do propaganda with lies and distortions as is common with Nigerians. |

JetApartment:Uhm! This is really interesting and a very good question. Nigerians don't usually ask questions. How indeed did the man that was arrested just a few days ago in Enugu, posted on SM find himself in Lagos, then to Seme border? Something about either of the 2 stories isn't correct. |

Every week after reports of terrorist attack the army releases a statement stating so so number of troops were killed. I am asking how many are these insurgents that the army kills hundreds in a single operation, yet the next week or month, another hundred are killed? I just feel the army or defence hierachy is just feeding the president figures of killed insurgents to give impression they are working and keep their jobs. The other day it was one clownish report of insurgents attacking an army base,15 of them were killed, yet their comrades were still able to evacuate the corpses,on motor bikes! 3 Likes |

But why did it occur infront of an army Cantonment then. The coincidence should rightfully give people room to speculate even if Wike maybe right P.S Don't think Wike is right after all because someone also noted that quarty explosives don't detonate unless there is a triggering device 2 Likes |

iwaeda:That is,real clowning. You are converting polytechnics and technical colleges to universities left, right and centre on the one hand, yet on the other hand saying you are paying 45k stipends to technical college students. Asides being ironic,it also doesn't make any sense. Next, you pay doctors and nurses during training to incentisize them to stay? Engineers, okay, more students enroll in engineering and get 60k per month. Oh,what of agricultural students,go into agricultural studies with 50k every month so that there would be more farmers.Education, ditto and the list goes on and on! 32 Likes 3 Shares |

emmylight4u:An error keh? It's not as if the recording was done in secret with a hidden camera. They both wanted their sexcapade to be recorded for their private enjoyment later and the fact she possibly didn't have a phone or sim lock showed she didn't bother much who sees it. The tragedy here is that they were bold and shameless enough to record their sexcapade, not the act itself. |

Sense she doesn't have. Let her move in fully with the man and she would come to realise all that so called care and love would diminish if not totally disappear. They usually think their is something they have that the person cannot but care for them for ever. When they move in,they will realize it's not so,then that p ussy they were willing giving in all angles they would also realize that since it was a pussy based care, let them deprive the man, hoping he would return to the person they knew when they were still doing hidden love, but alas,it becomes worn out. |

There is nothing like money ritual. All so called money ritual millionaires or billionaires are simply into one form of fraud or crime:financial, yahoo yahoo, kidnapping or outright robbery. They then tell themselves or are told by their spiritual consultants that they need to make human sacrifice or bring a human part for their wealth to continue flowing. They believe this are do as they are f oolishly told.So it's not the sacrifice per se that brings them wealth as some people and nollywood make people to believe. |

TimeManager:They fled under sustained fire but still able to evacuate 15 corpses? Both assertions cannot be true at the same time. When you are trying to escape such an assault on bike, when would you have the time, composure and agility to pick up corpses and place them on bike? Manoeuvring a bike with a corpse, even if we assume they truthfully picked up the corpses is an impossible task. Haba, some reports are just too cooked up. 2 Likes |

If you read through this so called news well, one would clearly see it's an ment. The estate was mentioned several times in the report and section clearly telling people to invest. I doubt cubana has a fully developed structure in that place. For all one knows,it could be a developing estate with just a perimeter fencing and few scattered buildings. I maybe wrong though. 110 Likes 6 Shares |

Wao! It's looking like AI generated and not real. This is the kind of transformation associated with the Chinese and Japanese, transforming what looked an impossibility to reality. Kudos to Otti!! PS.In short after typing the above, I had to go and view the pictures again and I am still amazed at the present state of that street or road with all the buildings still standing, including the one nearly consumed by the erosion. Assuming this area was somewhere in Lagos, their first and standard default action would have been to tell people that those houses are no longer liveable and they pull down every structure without giving any thought. Now see someone proving that structures and buildings can still be saved. 59 Likes 2 Shares |

Those at Idumota were reportedly told to pay ₦2m. Though don't know if it's 100% true but that was what shop owners told their customers. Also don't know if they eventually paid that sum or a lesser amount, but they all definitely paid some money 2 Likes |

DaddyJapan:Did you even bother reading the report you linked? He purchased Hilux for farming, informant told police officers, they arrested him at the gate, made him to transfer all his money to Bureau D Change agent. How does that sound to you? Put yourself in the man's shoe:you made a whooping 150m from your years of hardwork, someone with uniform saw it in your phone and threatened you with a hishy washy allegation of crime and you because of that transferred the whole money you honestly worked hard for. I know it sounds foolish but most people that made that kind of money through honest, hardwork with nothing to hide, would rather stay in that detention and dare the police to do their worse or take him to court. A family that can engage a SAN would definitely do any running around that would prove their son innocent. also, this is someone with a family that will know where he was taken to and by who. Even a child would find this story laughable. Millions were given as bribe, yes to corrupt officers, even maybe a DIG,yes. But I don't see a honest man giving that kind of money as bribe. This version of your link also contradicts the one written by the lawyer that claims the 145m or so was raised through loans, families, businesses and friends. So clearly, the story has things that are hidden and not true |

dettolgel:Accepting without conceeding,or how is that grammar even phrased again? So ask yourself as soon as he came out,why didn't they immediately petition the IGP through this same lawyer on the extortion by the officers? At least once he was out of detention with the official petition, his life would have been relatively safe. Why wait till he travelled back to his base abroad? this incident as reported was almost 8months ago, last year. Why wait till now. Of course, nobody is disputing the fact that the majority of Nigerian policemen and women are criminals out to extort, frame and kill if warranted, but one thing every policeman or woman doesn't want is to have his or her name splattered on the news or SM for a criminal act because the police would take action, not out of them necessarily wanting to clean the force, but to give the impression to the outside world that criminal elements are being dealth with. Besides, being based abroad and maybe even likely holding a foreign port gives him added leverage to have his case handled professionally. I still stand by my theory:both parties have soiled hands. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Why did the family bribe the officers with such a humongous amount? It's clear they have the means,so why didn't they employ this same SAN or any other lawyer as soon as they knew where he was taken to. I bet if this same petition or any other had been written by a lawyer when he was arrested, no physical harm or any threat to his life would have been made by any officer. My theory and gut feeling is that the guy was involved in some criminal activity,so the family was boxed in a corner and being desperate to see him come out of detention, they raised that huge sum. Now that he has safely returned to his foreign base, they are now writing petitions, knowing he cannot be brought to the court to answer for whatever crime he was involved in. Who pays such huge sum when you know your family member is innocent? Even Evans with his well documented criminal past has not been assaulted or threatened with harm once his case came to the public sphere and lawyers were involved. Anyway, it's a case of 2 sets of criminals trying to outsmart each other. Petition indeed. For good 4 months or when he was in Abuja you didn't petition the IGP because you didn't want whatever he was involved in to become official, making his coming out and traveling back to base impossible. The criminal officers involved saw his case, know if they throw threats around, mainly that of him being prosecuted and some physical harm if left in detention,to spice things up and bargain well, money would be raised to avoid likely prosecution. I can also bet if the guy had still been in Nigeria, this same petition won't have been written and they would have wanted everything kept mush mush. 20 Likes 2 Shares |
