Some have it but may not need it. I’m not here defend countries with Marines corps.
My point is that Marines are ‘naval infantry’ to storm enemy beaches and ports, they’re not for counter insurgency. I’m guessing Most of those countries likely don’t have army amphibious divisions. It’s the same thing.
In conclusion, forming a marine corps under the navy for the purpose of counter insurgency, is as stupid as it sounds.
How many enemy beaches did the US Marine Corps storm in Afghanistan?
You have been unable to provide any sound counter-argument as to why the Marine corps is a bad idea for the Nigerian Navy.
For this reason, I see no point engaging with you further.

If you order something from a company,or even from a shop and is to be delivered to you, the quantity supplied is written in the waybill, the plate number of the vehicle conveying it, the person or company who bought it, all these are stated on the waybill and you don't need to count it before, knowing how many the ammunition are.
Bro calm down did you see the waybill? Again no insurgent will use a pump action cartridge for their campaign when AK47 is still the weapon of choice.

It's going to be a long read. I'll like to describe my paternal and maternal families.
My late dad played a vital role in both families. In the paternal, he trained all both in business, education and even sent some abroad. His after thought was that they will replicate same gesture on his kids. It wasn't tho..Even when he died, they were looking to sell his lands so they could fund the burial..igbo burials are expensive. Tho they helped once in a while after we all became graduates.
Now to my maternal family, my dad also contributed. Gave Mom's bro a job, trained one in university, trained one and settled in the university.. They tried tho as we spent most of our university hols with them and they gave us some stipends while in school.
Mom's bro, their first son, who's my uncle, call him Uncle T, really tried for us.
We went to private university so fees are quite expensive. Dad would borrow money from Uncle T and pay back so we could pay fees. When Dad and my late sis ed away, he also contributed to it positively.
The only problem with Uncle T is arrogance and pride. When my mom would plead to borrow money for fees when we're in school, he would flare up and say things like 'he has not trained his own kids and he wants to contribute for another'. Tho he may later do it but he always says some hurtful things before helping.
Sometimes, he would come in my room in his house and start searching if I were with a lady. Also told his kids to stop playing with me. I noticed .
I endured a lot of these but after my dad's burial, I made sure I left his apartment and got mine even tho it was difficult.. I needed to be a man and get my own respect no matter how little because the insults were becoming too much.
My younger bro also moved in with me. I noticed my uncle wasn't happy with my relocation but I was happier and had peace of mind. He talked well with my younger bro and I noticed my brother's attitude towards me changed. Ive asked him what the problem was but he keeps pretending that all was well.
My uncle never visited me for once for the 2 years I spent in my new apartment but when I got a job in Lagos, his kids visited my younger bro.
I still try as much as possible to call him every 1st of a new month to greet him. One of my younger siblings who's still in school goes to his house for hols. I had a very strange feeling about him so I called my uncle, after all the greetings and after asking about his family, I asked after my younger bro and he said all was well.
Few days later younger bro called me to tell me he's only being fed once a day and he uses his money to go to his shop daily and he's sick. I felt bad tho and I gave him funds to take care of himself.
The one that pained me to date was when I told him I'd get married soon. He appeared happy and said I should carry him along on everything. I made sure I did from when we went for lab tests and all.
Unfortunately, the wedding didn't work out due to family disagreement. My mom communicated to her family. Her brothers called me except my uncle. I called him and he said.."yes , your mom told me everything and I said I won't call you. You shouldn't be angry..it's one of those things..I didn't give birth to a boy...only girls"
This was too vile..I told my mom about it but she sounded defensive.
There are lots I can't type here but for now...I've stopped calling him or any relative.
For the fact that your dad contributed immensely to the wellbeing of others DOES NOT that they owe you or him any gratitude. Know this and know peace. Do not expect much from people.
Secondly, you ought have informed your uncle that you were to get married. He does not have to call you. It is your duty to inform him.
He is not obligated to attend your wedding. Let's learn to understand that people reserve the choice to associate with us or not. You cannot decide for people what to do. If some of tell you our stories, you will be shaken.

Thanks for sharing the video. Pls is the interview remaining or this is all.
I wanted to hear about the quantity of palm fruits cultivated. The percentage already bearing fruits. The specific time the mail should be up as the technology is not rocket science.
Instead he only told of specific number of pigs(400) .Then him and the presenter picking each other and catching fun.
Verdict

The interview brought nothing new walahi.
I wanted to hear we have 50k hectares of cultivated palm land with approximately 200 palm fruits. In this number about 100 are in fruiting stage. The the screen behind running some of the videos and the mill on the farm.
I have right to my opinion..lol.We are planning or into cultivation of another 50 seedlings in this portion of land by yr end. That if the mill starts running we are expecting this quantity of oil since the mill is 3 tonnes capacity. That we will scale up to this quantity by this time frame. And possibly reach optimal by this yr.
When you see a smooth talker saying "hopefully", "in a couple of weeks" etc
He even talk land banking. Well at least dem get 400 pigs. Abeg how much be one pig for market? Na wetin shareholders go share be that when they file for bankruptcy Beacon don land

Where are you having your interview is it in Lagos? And are you fully funded? Or using personal or/and family funds?
I asked the above just to get your context more.
Here's my advice:
Prepare to show your commitment/non-immigration intent early in your interview. Unlike many mock sessions, the VOs in the Lagos embassy are recently not been direct with their questions on post-study plans or even home ties (noticed this in my case).
If you're asked any questions on:
What will this program do for you?
Why are you going back to school now/for a Master's now?
What do you need this program for?
(These questions are to check your post study plans and home ties). Your responses must demonstrate them.
You can follow a method of very direct and straightforward point/sentence then expatiate/expound on it later.
This is what I mean: put your strongest points FIRST. Be calm, don't rush! Practice over and over. For Abuja, some of the approval/AP transcripts I have seen, the questions on post study plans were direct. But for Lagos, it's different. Ensure your strongest points comes first and explain further if you have the time.
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ASSUMING THE VO WILL DEFINITELY ASK YOU QUESTIONS IN A PARTICULAR FORMAT, then delay your nonimmigrant intentions responses to a particular time waiting for the question that will allow you say those responses( I hope you get this). Show home ties, professional commitments and nonprofessional engagements if you have as soon as you're able to.
Here are some practice questions to help:
How many schools did you apply to?
Why this program?
What year did you graduate?
Why this course?
Who is funding this trip?
How did you get this assistantship?
Why this school?
How did you find about the school?
What will this program do for you?
What do you need this program for?
Why are you going back to school now?
What's your plan after this program?
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE in a naturally flowing format. Don't cram. Have a simple and
believable story behind your purpose, plans and what the degree will do for you in Nigeria.
I wish you all the best and I pray you get your approval on a FIRST ATTEMPT. This is now crucial because of the pause of new appointments for F-1 interviews. A denial will be too hurtful.
Thank you so much for this. My interview is in Lagos and my program is funded

John 20:28 Thomas called Jesus his God. did you see Jesus rebuke him? no. Because Jesus is God
Is Jesus Christ perfect?
Yes. did Jesus Christ disagree with Thomas the imperfect follower?
Yes, John 20:17 & Revelation 3:12, Jesus revealed he is NOT the God of any of his followers.
That is also the concrete conclusion of John 20:30-31. did John 20:28 ended with exclamation mark?
Yes.
John 20:28 was expressed by Thomas in the context of John 20:18-25, Thomas doubts & unbelief of Jesus resurrection.
John 20:29 "Happy are those who did not see Jesus resurrection but believe Jesus rose."
why should I cling to the exclamation of an imperfect disciple which Jesus Christ did NOT believe it?

They beat you for being a ghost? Are you that weak that you cannot target one of them and damage the person?
I just imagine the kind humiliation.
pepericozi:
Hmmm. It was a bitter experience o. I happen to be an introvert who doesn't mingle with people easily. I prefer to live a private life. From home to office and from office to home. No playing around.
I have friends in the office but once it is the closing time, we depart until we meet the following day. At times, we leave from office to pepper soup and upon leaving the place, we depart until we meet again.
I didn't know that my landlady was watching and studying my way of life and had been discussing this with other landlords around.
One day, she invited vigilantee when I came back from work around 6.00 pm to come and evict me from her house on the premise that l am a ghost. The excuse was that I have spent three years in her house and had never seen anybody moving with me, visiting or playing around with me.
My explanation did not go well with the vigilantee. I was beating and arrested. I have a senior brother who was an Army then (now deceased). When l told him the story and what led to my being beaten, he was seriously furious and annoyed and dispatched his men to the street. Upon seeing a handful of Army in the street, the street was deserted. For two days, my landlady was indoor and could not come out. Other landlords who participated in the incident could not show up.
To cut the story short, they were eventually made to pay for my treatment and my brother advised that I should look for another accommodation elsewhere which I did.
In fact, it was a sad experience o.

Googledotcom:
I will tell my story here so others won't fall victim.
Although my spirit told me the landlady will be troublesome, but I thought since I'm a quiet person, I could use some silence when provoked.
My intention was to pay for just one year, study her character, if she's cool headed, then I renew but she insisted I must pay two year pleading that her daughter needs money to go to nysc camp, so I paid.
After three months, trouble started when she pleaded I borrow her money to offset NEPA bill I know nothing of, of course I dodged. Tried some sexual advances at me cus she's a widow, sent her daughters to try as well, brethren, I dodged all the bullets. Then she unleashed her terror. Below are some of the things she did to me;
1. Breaking into my space when I'm not around. Once I've locked my burglary, she'll send her children to tip toe and spoil my locks. I spent lots of money buying padlocks everyday.
2. She offs the tap at intervals, especially when I'm back from work even though I'm not owning her any dime.
3. Since the change over is in her house, She manipulates my current. Having low current all the time. I ended up not using my electronics except fan which has been weakened already.
4. No privacy, she moves about monitoring and listening to my calls.
5. Locks the main gate anytime she likes
6. You dare not buy anything and carry it at her face, she felt like I was intimidating her. The story long I no fit finish am.
But in all, I've learnt never to live in any compound were the landlord or landlady lives, never never never never !!!
