For someone residing in Lagos, should letter of financial statement - which is intended to be ed as part of the application documents- be addressed to the Australian High Commission in Abuja, or is it better to address it to the Australian Consulate in Lagos?

Not sure this will make much of a difference sha but hope you are aware that all visa applications to Australia from Nigeria are processed through the Australian High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa.

Please is there any penalty for exceeding the 300 word count for GTE statement for visa application?
I'm finding it difficult in fitting all my points into 300 words that will meet their requirement.

There is a section within the application for you to type 300 words, however, you should still attach your detailed writeup under the GTE link in the attachment section. (my opinion)
