Adexxi:I find it disrespectful. I hope no one accuses me of being paid sha. They can check my postal history on nairaland if they want. I haven't even commented on here for a while and only chipped in my 2cents to this discussion. I guess freedom of speech is no longer allowed. |

Shikena:Can you provide that proof that people were actually paid? When I say singled out, adexx was quoted as one of those paid which is wrong. 1 Like 1 Share |

Shikena:All he did was push back against the first misinformation posted on the page 1. Many posters have also pushed back against that narrative, but you kind of singled Addex out. Someone even accused him of being paid. Haba. 2 Likes |

Shikena:He never said ife had any supremacy over other kingdoms though. The Ijebu had never lost any battle since they were known aside the fight they had with the british . They would surely not bow to anyone. The people that are even most independent are the Egbas, they would never bow to no one too aside their own kings. |

lagonovo:That is a disrespectful statement. Tbe person you are accusing of being paid has been ed here since 2017. Why do you think anyone was paid? Where you also paid to post here? You need to know that not everyone is comfortable with people revising history. |

Deepspirituals:This actual Alaafin was chosen by Professor Wande Abimbola (Former VC of OAU in the 1980s) who also happens to be an Ifa priest. The oyo mesi was brushed aside after the governor realized that they had been bought with money. 3 Likes 1 Share |

ugoonuoha: hustla:To the gentleman that mentioned Canada. For a minutes I thought OP was actually describing Canada. First world experiences are similar. The listed reasons should not be the reasons why you decide to jump ship. Canadian experiences below: - You won't wait months to see a GP (family doctor in Canada). You may wait a few days or weeks sometimes to get an appointment to see your GP. If you walk-in without appointment, one can see a GP after waiting a couple of hours and on specific days of the week, but they won't refer if a specialist is required if he/she is not your GP. If you were able to get an appointment to see your own GP and you get a referral, it could take another average of 2 months to see a specialist doctor. In addition, getting an elective surgery done could be years away. Some people with money just fly to the USA. Finally, getting a GP to accept you as a patient can also take months or years (depending on province). So if one has no GP, the patient will have to rely on emergency room doctors to get referrals to a specialist. To see an Emergency room doctor can take 6 hours or more if the patients case is not life threatening. Triage nurses would triage accordingly. - Calling a government agency in Canada. Good lord - I hope you have atleast 2 hours of your day to spare before they pick up. - CIC Canada are very notorious for visa issuance, PR and any sort of visa applications. Be ready to wait months, years, and they do not care if you are a student resuming at a specific time. They would take their time. Visit visa can take 6 months to process and student visa can equally be of similar timelines. - booking a driver's test could be maybe one month to 6 weeks as well. Patience is key. - Housing. Despite the high rent, It's not uncommon for landlord to conduct credit checks, ask for 3 references including work reference from husband and wife, full month deposit, payslips, employment letters e.t.c before even inviting you for a viewing and there could be 50 other viewing the same apartment or house. Luckily, there are people with cold and damp basements that have less stringent requirements. Don't even try to get on gov subsidized housing except you are ready to wait 2 years and up. - Taxes. Same same. Very high ![]() 18 Likes |

Lexusgs430:On point. Just like every Nigerian can't afford quick dental health care in Nigeria. If OP had ever visited a non-private dental clinic/hospital in Nigeria, he would realise that a large majority of Nigerians can't afford private care. 2 Likes |

Eastlink:Same Eguavoen that messed up against Italy in the 1994 World Cup second round. I am not expecting much from him. Maybe he would shock us too my bring home a trophy. I how Roberto Baggio's equalizer goal slipped past his legs and how he finally gave Italy the wining goal penalty. https://www.fifa.com/tournaments/mens/worldcup/1994usa/news/worldcupathome-nigeria-italy-1994-baggio-comeback 2 Likes |

rollandben:Fury is a giant at 6.9 and 277 lbs. He uses that weight well and lands his jabs well. I would like to see him go against smaller fighters like Ruiz, 6.2 and Usyk, 6.3. It would not be easy to lean on smaller guys ![]() I also want to see him take AJ first as that almost happened if not for Wilder pulling the trilogy and AJ being mandated to fight Usyk after that. Going to be tough to have all these happen as the winner of Wilder vs Fury has been mandated to take a shot at Dillain Whyte 4 Likes |

THEGALADIMA:I think Ortiz and Fury were really his only tough opponents. The others were just bums and mostly unknown journeymen boxers. 2 Likes |

Peters1212:I think they should fight. Would be the biggest money they will both make in their careers from a fight. Hopefully, AJ can get his belts back to even make the purse bigger. AJ won't open up to get several punches like wilder opened up after the first round. |

SarkinYarki:What do you expect him to say before. You have to hype your defeated opponent to feel good or elevate yourself and giving credit to your opponent is also good sportsmanship. 5 Likes |

Bewiseedet:It wasn't that huge. How these guys don't command huge money is strange. Ruiz made $7,000,000 from his first fight with AJ and made $10,000,000 from the 2nd fight. The $10,000,000 is what Fury and Wilder made in their last fight combined. |

pajosh:He is not avoiding Fury though. He was meant to fight Fury before Wilder triggered the trilogy. I his promoter and AJ got mad as they said Fury's side wasn't sincere during negotiation about a trilogy with wilder. He was madated to fight Usyk when the deal with Fury did not go ahead. 6 Likes |

suffering:Real punishment just like his last fight that he almost got killed. Such a careless boxer. He fights like an amateur throwing wild windmill punches and not protecting himself. Despite being always warned by the referee to protect themselves. His doctor had to come into the ring in one of the rounds. The doctor here aslo talking to him the end of one of the round. Probably telling him to give up. Bloodied ear and mouth. He should count himself lucky and enjoy his purse money of $5,000,000 from this trilogy. 4 Likes |

This clown making up excuses again. If Fury was leaning on you, why did you not use uppercuts. His side shouted uppercuts several times but he wasn't listening. His last coach said he doesn't listen to anyone and has become untrainable.
