Heroshe is an option as well. They now ship from China. They charge by weight. They weigh in pounds and not kg. $6/lb inclusive of clearance.

Yes. I did it then with NIPOST EMS, asked to pay 70k in 2019 for one Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Phone which was roughly $230. I ignored them and they shipped it back. Got refunded.
This is also my concern. The seller told me that if checked by customs I may be asked to pay duties. This is obviously too much. My item costs around this amount too.

Your laptop must have a webcam. Infact you can't do the assessment with a laptop that doesn't have a webcam.
But the test did not access my camera, any problem? My system camera light didn't on. Of which it accessed it when I did it last year.

After that was completed

Me: The department gave me a generous funding that comes with tution waiver and monthly stipend to cover for living expenses
VO checks my i20) What do you intend to do with the degree

I noticed my interview was a lot shorter than most other people. I completed my interview before the two people in front of me on the queue.
The Lady that's going for PHD in chemistry (knows a little too much about nanochemistry, likes mixing chemicals and has never blown up a building), I tried waiting for you but an officer told me to keep moving. I really hope your friend and the third guy with us also got accepted.
I also noticed two things I thought I should share
1. After an applicant answered a question the VO asked, the next thing the VO said was "how long did you practice that speech?". He eventually got the Visa but I believe the VO tried asking questions he wouldn't expect him to have prepared for cause further down the interview, after answering a question, the VO asked whether he prepared that and he was like "NO" and The VO enthusiasticly said "Yeah I like it when we just talk".
2. An applicant who I think was going for Chemistry was asked what "entropy" was. He was also asked which had more entropy between "air" and one other option I didn't hear.
Lastly, I observed there were more acceptance than rejection during my time in the hall.
Hearty congratulations

I began praying that I skip him but for this kin thing luck no dey favor me. I kept faith sha. But I sha still landed on his table.
When I got there he asked me to place my left hand on the scanner. I did and he couldn't get my finger print. We tried for a bit so I asked him, did you mean my left or right because you told me left. Then he apologized and said that he meant the right hand.
VO: Where are you going to in the US
Me: I am currently a graduate student of the communications program in the University of Cincinnati Ohio.
VO: Why did you choose this school

VO: Have you ever traveled outside the country before
Me: No, I have not had any reason to
VO: Are you married

Hi guys, pls anyone here that I've made use of FedEx for shipment. I made the payment for the shipment on Friday lastweek, through UEMS eshipmentglobal.com. I've been checking the site since then, still the same information I'm seeing on it, info like: not yet shipped, your university has been notified. I wonder if the document have been received from the university at all. Anyone that have used them or know how they work should say something pls.
Get their Lagos number online. Also use the chat link on eshipglobal and tell them your concern. Do all these maybe they’ll at least keep track of your shipment
I received mine today. FedEx got shipment notification and picked it up on 7 October. DHL got same... shipment arrived Nigeria on Sunday and was delivered on Monday with regular update (at most every two-hour or so).
FedEx just delivered mine this afternoon... with a rude call from their dispatch staff
Hopefully you’ll get em this week

I had a very concise interview. Before I proceed into proper details, permit to use this medium to thank Samuel (Sammy like I fondly call), Fortune, Fairheart, Mathew, Francis, Acers family, and a host of others I am yet to mention; these amazing lads gave me the mock interview and confidence (some deadly guts) to face my fears.
Sunday (4th Oct, 2020) is just like every other day where I casually mailed Lagos consulate with a view of booking an expedited appointment with no much expectations. I barely recall sending a mail that Sunday! On Monday morning, I got a mail from lagos consulate slating an appointment by Friday! FRIDAY? that must be a huge joke! How could I possibly pay sevis fee, fill my DS-160 form, get an updated I-20 to spring, going through the hassles of documents printing in just 4 days?! Hell no... I'm skipping this appointment. I was so damn sure about this on Monday but by Tuesday morning, I reflect on my thoughts and realized how golden this opportunity is. I presented my case before these great guys, Samuel and fortune who offered to help with documents printing errands and transcript drafting respectively, while I take care of other tasks.
Wasn't really thinking of the mock interview preparations until Thursday afternoon after arriving at my lodge close to the Lagos consulate at VI. It was a tedious experience filled with funny memories.
Thanks to the virtual mock interview organized by Mathew, Sam, Francis et al where I was given a friendly but yet, rigorous drilling, critiquing my transcripts which helped in boosting my confidence. Studied through the night with an open but yet prayerful mind...
By morning, I headed straight to the consulate; tho a walkable distance but I booked a cab. Upon my arrival, I focused my gaze on the scanty applicants (about 35 in total) contrary to the usual expectations. I shaped my mind and blended with the cue while I await my faith. Waited for about half an hour before the rain started (that's a story for another day). The CGFI official instructed us on the document arrangements while we align on a single line heading straight to the interview unit..............
The VO is in window 9, probably in his mid 30s. A very wonderful and yet witty conversationalist. He denied about 4 applicants ahead of me and issued 3 approvals. I won’t lie, my morale was dampened but I kept a straight face. A lady just ahead of me was literally begging the VO to reconsider his denial and almost not leaving the spot! (In my head I was like, hey pretty! Leave that spot before you annoy the VO.. don’t implicate me pls........)
Here goes my interview with the VO
VO: Good morning, me your port and I-20.
Me: I obliged.
VO: What are you going to do in the US ?
me: I am going for a Master’s degree in Political science with Concentration in International Relations and Public Policy, in Texas Tech University, Lubbock.
VO: not a single word from him as he kept typing......(I wasn’t sure if he heard me but I kept my cool).. So who is sponsoring your studies?
Me- Well, I was offered a Graduate teaching assistantships with full tuition waiver and some monthly stipends to help offset my living expenses and my uncle will help with the deficits.
VO: ...keeps typing for a couple of seconds, this time around a bit longer than usual. So what does your uncle do?
Me- He works as a Real estate Developer and owns a wholesale supermarket.
VO: where does he work at?
Me: Lagos
VO: okay. ...keeps typing.... So where did you graduate from ?
Me- The University of Ibadan in May, 2018
VO: Have you ever travelled out of the country ?
Me- No sir, I had no reason to.
VO- Are you married ?
Me- No sir.
VO: What is your program start date?
Me: 04 January, 2021
VO: Oh! You said you graduated from University of Ilorin?
Me: No sir, I graduated from the University of Ibadan.
VO: I see... Okay. I will be approving your Visa. have your reciprocity fee paid at window 23 and make sure you make travel plans not more than 30 days before your program start date.. you will need your I-20 at the POE ...........blah blah blah... I smiled as he utter the golden words!!!
From what I observed, the interview lasted less than 2 minutes! No other documents requested. Financial statement was handy but he never asked.

What is changing isn't the need to renew the entry visa every 2 years, it is the duration of status issued by CBP at the border that is changing. Previously you would get D/S (i-94) stamped on your port. That meant you could stay in the US for however long your program of study was. The need to renew your visa after 2 years only applied if you leave the US at anytime after the expiration of the visa. If you chose to never leave the US, you could stay in the US for however long your program of study, transfer to another program and continue on for as long as you wish.
The intended change is that rather than stamping you in as D/S at the border, your I-94 will now include a definite expiry date 2 years from date of entry to the US. It means if you are in a 4-year study, you must leave the US before the expiration of your I-94 to renew your visa. That gives the US more control over anyone who comes into the US in F, M or J visa status, as your status would need to be examined every 2 years rather than never, which is currently the case. It doesn't really change much, as long as you remain in status, you should be able to renew your visa easily.
Thanks for the clarification.

you're very funny. Wit alone would not make you ace SAT. Only Adequate preparation would make you ace it. You have to be familiar with their pattern and you have to learn time management.
If you write the exam exactly the way you're saying now, you won't get up to 1200.
Bros, is this applicable to GRE also? If yes is your answer then you might want to reconsider your position.
I’ve seen two people, my sibling and a friend-he’s also on Nairaland here that sat for the exam with less than 3 weeks prep.
Both of them are Maths savvy. They didn’t have to even get familiar with GRE Quant patterns.
Both answer Quant questions as tho they set the Question
The amazing part to me is that they answer even the most challenging questions on GRE mentally (without writing anything down)
And yes 160+ in Quant , you know how far that can augment low Verbal score
As short as the time seems one even scored above 150 in Verbal.
We all know our strengths. Stay safe bro!

This is indeed a sad situation but not hopeless. Let's just hope spring becomes feasible otherwise we all enter ission and assistantship pool again since deferment can only be done once.
There’s a strong chance of having safe “vaccines” before the end of October.
Russia to approve one on August 10, tho no data has been released about its safety. Their scientists say it’s safe and that data from the trials will be released upon approval.
Meanwhile, our prayer is with the United States scientists as US is the most generous country that can subsidize these vaccines to poor regions.

Bunch of corrupt idiots defending criminals.
This is the same rationale they use for defending corrupt politicians they love.
These same idiots will swear that corrupt politicians is responsible for their poverty
But when one corrupt person gets arrested, they check if it belongs to them or the

If the corrupt politician comes from their side, they defend him vigorously and ask
the government to focus on the "other" ones as they asking the FBI in this case.
Who are they to tell FBI which criminals to focus on?

Which damages? If anything, Trump has made the work easier for the 46th President and those after him. Why should America have 35,000 plus troops in , doing what exactly other than incurring billions of USD in American taxpayer's money to be protecting another 1st world country that has its own military. Countries all over the world have abused the goodwill of the USA for too long, and exploited them at every turn like bloody fools, and the USA has always danced like a fool in the market just because they wanted to maintain a fake status quo of being the number 1 world super-power and also world police. It has cost them trillions of dollars, wasted money. Just imagine 35,000 plus troops in a place like , and then you check, they have troops all over Europe, that's not enough, they are the one's footing 90% of NATO's bills, and let's not even cross over to Asia, and other continents, even Africa where they have over hundreds of thousands of troops distributed. And they are footing the bills. Still these countries still secretly hate America and want America destroyed. should protect itself. Trump is even nice. If it were a president like me, i will withdraw US troops completely. Dia fada dey mad
You can’t just be generous without getting something of value in return. That’s a business mindset!
Do you know how it plays out when US places economic sanctions on countries? For instance, Iran has been begging for billions of dollars loan to fight CoVid 19...
So their allies act as actors in implementing US international policies
