I had encountered similar situation in the past. As I was driving, all of a sudden, a young child ran into the road to cross while others were standing by the roadside waiting for the road to be clear. It was by a stroke of luck that I did not hit him. I came out of my car, ran after the boy and gave him a good beating. If I had hit him, the blame would have been on me that probably I was on speed. Even the bystanders ed in scolding the boy. One elderly woman also ed in giving the boy a very hot slap. 16 Likes |

You got it wrong by reg and wanting to keep the apartment even though the rent as you say is deducted from your salary. Where do you want them to accommodate your replacement? For me it was a good plan to go solo and work for yourself but planned wrongly. 43 Likes 1 Share |

I don’t like the idea of visitors and residents ing the dinning to get access to the room. Master’s bedroom too small and should be at the back. Visitors bedroom should be closer to the living room so they don’t move deep into the house. 2 Likes |

@OP the PDP NEC and party chairman should also keep to their own part of the agreement. Ayu should resign since he agreed that if the presidential candidate comes from the north, he will step down. This is what Wike is asking for. The PDP cannot expel Wike. It will be their loss and they know it. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Talk to the factory owners or management. I work in an organisation where we outsource the security, maintenance and janitorial staff whom are under my supervision. The contractors dare not owe the worker’s salary beyond the last day of the month. Otherwise, that is the end of the contract. I will terminate them and migrate the staff to the incoming companies based on right of first refusal.

ozo13: You believe what the boy says but don’t believe what is coming from the Senator’s side because of sentiment. When the boy applied for visa, his application documents would have been discussed at the embassy in Nigeria including the letter from the senator to the high commission. He cannot claim ignorance of that. |

Nostressinlife: You have said it all. Where were they “Development Control” when he was building? Development control have their site offices and staff everywhere in Abuja. Their duty is to identify contravening buildings and stop them. If the developer refuses, bring it down immediately not waiting for the building to be completed before bringing it down. That is just wickedness. They should have stopped him at that stage if indeed he is building on the right of way. You mentioned that a lot of houses are marked for demolition. What are they waiting for before they demolish. Obviously they are waiting for the developers to come settle ground. Most of these enforcement agencies are not doing their job. Same thing with the storey building that collapsed in Lagos few months back that the owner died in it. The authorities claimed they warned him but did not take any action. Apparently the owner would have settled them and then they closed their eyes until the inevitable happened. The authorities should also be held able for letting Kpopogiri develop that property to that extent before acting. That structure was not erected over night or even 6 months. 1 Like 1 Share |

Sometimes this riders are so careless. You see them riding on the middle of the lane or even the fast lane instead of riding at the corner of the slow lane. They act like they have extra lives. Majority of them don’t obey traffic rules because they think traffic rules are only for vehicles. 47 Likes |

HeDied: Dear Op, I had this and tried treating with several creams recommended by people all to no avail. In fact it increased. I visited the hospital and they treated it including injecting them which worked for about 2 weeks and after a while they came back. Luckily for me, one day as I was in cold stone to get ice cream, a man behind me tapped me and said he used to have this and spent over 200k in treating it but to no avail until someone recommended funbact-A cream of just N300 and it worked. Same way I spent so much including my barber recommending so many expensive cream all to no avail. In summary, I bought it and applied it and in less than a week they all dried up and disappeared. I will recommend same to you and thank me later. Though once in a while I do notice them trying to come back and immediately I apply the cream, the disappear. So I always have it handy. johnsmhelia15: You don’t know the position the person got. I currently work with one of the INGO and we have staff over there in Maiduguri earning above that amount. Same also for those in the deep field like Dikwa, Bama, Ngala …. So it all depends on the position. |

Maiduguri is relatively safe. There are lots of exparts working for INGOs there. The only issue at the moment is power. Other than that, Maiduguri city is safe.
