Bola Tinubu's legal Team in far away US has hurriedly obtained an affidavit from CSU. This is coming after Monday's oral deposition of the Chicago State University's registrar.

The registrar had itted under oath that indeed a Bola Tinubu graduated from the institution, but there's no way to tell if that person is Nigeria's current president although he has reason to believe he is the same person. The registrar itted under oath when shown a copy of CSU's certificate Bola Tinubu submitted to INEC; that the certificate the president presented did not emanate from the School, hence a forgery.

However in a sudden twist of event, the legal team of the President approached the registrar overnight, in an arrangement unknown to the public, to swear another affidavit with only the president's legal Team present.

This affidavit has been obtained by mr. Tinubu's legal team and it is now understood that the president hopes to present the affidavit as a last line of defence.

It is no longer news that FBI are set to release thousands of files on the man popularly known as Bola Tinubu today.

If Bola Tinubu fails to appeal the judgement to release those files, it would not only spell the end for his presidential career but everything he has worked for, including all his achievements.

My advice to anyone genuinely close to Tinubu is to advice him to appeal the judgement of the fbi in US, while allowing the Nigerian supreme court invalidate his election and exclude him from further or subsequent participation here.

If he attempts to shop for a better deal than this, the disgrace might be too much for him to bear. There really is no way out of this it doesn't matter how emotional anyone gets about it.

His claim here that his certificates were looted by unknown persons is in contrast with the deposition obtained from CSU under oath. CSU claimed under oath that mr. Bola Tinubu has never actually requested to collect his certificate from the School at any point in time. The only copy made or available of the certificate was issued to a Nigerian lawyer last year (Enahoro Ebah) who obtained it frol CSU following a subpoena.

You bat people like to claim that even he forged its not a big deal since he graduated from the School. But how can someone who genuinely graduated from a School refuse to pick up his certificate since 1979, even though he knows it has been a subject of controversy for more than 20 years?
