I faced the same challenges when ing my company with CAC. After making payment online, they keep querying my application. I sent multiple emails but no response and calling all their numbers on the website but non of the number is going through.

When I got tired about it, I have to give to an agent and within 2-3 weeks everything was done and company certificate were issued. Awon wayray

The agent should have done studying visa for him cus that one comes with work permit.

I don't know anything about Canada visa processing but I know very much about united State's where you physically have to be present for a visa interview.

And that's d reason why it is very difficult to get cus ur the way u answer questions determine ur next question.

UK remain the best when it comes to visa applications even if ur visa is denied, they give u the reason why the ur application is being denied!

Nothing like interview when applying for Canadian visa! Only US, , Turkey that do interview even and Turkey, u will still submit ur documents online and go their embassy with the documents submitted but US own is totally different

Hi guys , please am in kind need of take on my current situation.

I applied for a canadian work visa through an agent with a down payment of 1miliom after which I did my biometrics capturing at VFS lagos .on

The problem now is that two months is almost gone and no from the embassy and am seriously starting to feel the heat , I don't know if I should get my money back and start up a wine bar or wait for an update from the agent.

Canada is not treating applications for visiting, studying etc, they keep giving different kind of excuses but collect payment for visa fee..

I have applications that was submitted since last year Oct and not yet treated, even another one before the Corona that was March 2020 and not yet treated.

What actually causing delay in treating applications is only known to them, UK still remain the best when it comes to treating of visa applications while US embassy are mad as the available date in Lagos is Jan 2024 while Abuja is May 2022

To God be the glory, I got my mtn sim retrieved on Feb 15 and my airtel sim that I retrieved before mtn is still not working telling me to wait for another 2 weeks as they have send my details to NCC waiting for NCC to confirm my registration before it will start working..

The best thing to do is keep ur phone safe as retrieving sims is very very difficult.. To hell with NCC and NIMC

U ar right, I ed when I wanted to change a flight ticket with Emirate airline, all I have to do is give them my card details, expiry date and d 3 digit at d back of d card, before u know debit alert follows immediately..

Some guys are not fully aware abt how some sites by OTP and card pin, try and pay Canadian visa fee, all u need to do is card number, expiry date, name on d card and d 3 digits at d back of d card.. Next thing u see is [/b]payment successful[b] without sending OTP or asking for card pin

to your and confirm that there is no query which you need to attend to...you can't proceed unless you resolve all pending issues they have raised.

Certificate of competency could be your Bsc cert or any other qualification you have. It was required when I did my business name registration about 3 years ago but I understand it's no longer required now

No you don't need to go to Abuja, you can start and complete the process yourself...just go to CAC website and with your email address...

After that you submit 2 names and pay a search fee of about 700Naira

If the names are approved you can then commence the registration process.

All payments are made online

Make sure you save copies of all online receipts you receive

Items you need:
Valid means of identification

An operational email

A port photograph

A certificate of competence in the field of area of the type of business you want to

Your debit card with at least 11K for making payments

You also need access to a scanner cos there is a form you will fill online then later you print it then scan and after you have affixed your port photograph and appended your signature

The whole process can be completed in about 1 week assuming you do everything properly and do not get a query.

NB- When filling the forms there is a section that asks if you need extra copies of certificates and documents, leave this blank. If you request for an extra certificate your fee will be higher.

After scanning the documents you want to make sure you name them appropriately so the CAC official who will process your application will not have difficulty identifying them

If you are based in Lagos I will recommend that you select Alausa as your preferred point of collection for your certificate of business name registration
