Former new York mayor, Michael Blomberg is considering facing DONALD Trump in the U.S election. Blomberg is far richer than DONALD Trump so he cannot bully him with his usual pomposity.... This will be interesting if Blomberg emerges as candidate of DEMOCRAT while Trump is the likely candidate of GOP if survived current impeachment investigation.

SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI TO BUHARI

Change should start with the National assembly: = A Senator receives N36,000,000 (thirty-six million Naira) monthly. If this is divided into two = N18,000,000 million (Eighteen million Naira). The second half which is N18,000,000 (eighteen million Naira) can be used to employ 200 Nigerians, each earning a salary of N90,000 (ninety thousand Naira) monthly. When you multiply 200 people with the number of Senators (109), this will give 21,800 Nigerians gainful employment. In short, 200 Nigerians will be able to live a comfortable life on half a Senator’s monthly salary.
A member of the House of Representatives receives a salary of N25,000,000 (tenty-five million Naira) monthly. If this salary is divided in two = N12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand Naira). The other half, which is the sum of N12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand Naira) will be enough to employ 135 Nigerians with a monthly salary of N92.500 (ninety-two thousand and five hundred Naira) each. Nigeria has 360 of the House of Representatives, half of their salaries can employ 48,600 Nigerians who can live comfortable lives.
So, Baba Buhari’s istration can employ 70,400 Nigerians with monthly salaries ranging from N90,000 to N92.500 accordingly. This is just by dividing the salaries of Senators and of the House of Representatives. Half their present salaries is more than enough for them in a country where majority of Nigerians live on less than a dollar a day. (Now think of all the other over bloated salaries and allowances of Ministers and others)
You may try this idea Your Excellency, the President...
Nigerians, spread this message to Senators and of the House of Representatives and others prick their conscience if they have any and to let them know how many Nigerians are not working because of their greed.
Transformation should start from the Congress!
GOD HELP NIGERIA.

Britain is not a small country to seek for such, they have tested the union and prefer to stay away. Britain has stronger tie with worlds more than several European country combined...

JUSTICE SYSTEM the binder for democracy has eroded . the only way out is effective REVOLUTION unfortunately one of the elites and activists , SOWORE who took a step forward is in the hands of this deadly dictatorial system, every other person is in deep fear to match forward because of grave consequences. which way again? HONG KUNG protests is unstoppable by police or soldiers. What's are we waiting or are we not feeling the FAILURE OF THE SYSTEM, NIGERIA? LETS SUFFER FOR ONES BY DRIVING OUT THESE PARASITES THAT ARE CONTINUALLY USING MIND GAMES TO DIVERT ATTENTIONS FROM WHAT IT OUGHT TO BE FOCUSING ON , RATHER WE CONTINUE PROTECTING TRIBALISM WHICH HAVE AND WILL NEVER SANITIZE THE COUNTRY FROM THE SYSTEM .

...........historical look at corruption in Nigeria demonstrates that rhetoric against corruption does not end corruption. All the inspiring words of our leaders and journalists have not changed anyone. We have heard the most eloquent appeals and strongest language castigating wrongdoers to no avail. Azikiwe and Shagari were two excellent writers who did not act to stop corruption of their party and colleagues.

From our survey of corruption in Nigeria, it would appear that change in Nigeria must come from the grass roots and not from the leaders. The British realized, as far back as 1947, that an educated, enlightened citizenry was the key to stopping corruption. Government could not legislate an end to corruption. Punishment of wrongdoers, while necessary, was not sufficient to stop corruption.

In his comparison of corruption in Nigeria and Britain, Ronald Wraith pointed to the need for education in good character and the importance of diffusion of wealth, power, and education in the society. There was need to build a tradition of disinterested public service. In Britain, responsible government began with the emergence of people who entered government service after they had amassed substantial wealth. They ed government, not to increase their fortunes, but to contribute to the country. When the people of Nigeria reject corruption, they will demand and receive good behavior from their leaders .EXCERPT

Our Youths are CAGED, we should all hands with SOWORE'S initiative to bring change. many countries have done it. recent unrest in : SUDAN, ALGERIA, HONGKONG, etc are to turn things to better. All driven by YOUTHS

Ministerial list: Buhari nominates serving lawmaker who dumped APC

One of the newly inaugurated of the House of Representatives, Emeka Nwajiuba, is among the 43 ministerial nominees of President Muhammadu Buhari, The PUNCH can report.

Nwajiuba, a native of Ehime-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, is representing Okigwe South federal constituency.

He was elected on the platform of the Accord Party.

President Buhari nominated him to represent Imo State in the 43 names he sent to the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan.

Nwajiuba, a former member of the All Progressives Congress, had defected to AP after a running battle with the former governor of his state, Mr Rochas Okorocha.

The lawmaker, a foundation member of the APC, served in the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003, and was said to be the secretary of the Constitution Drafting Committee which produced the document that gave birth to APC.

Although Nwajiuba has yet to announce his defection back to the APC on the floor of the House, his spokesman had said he would return to the party.

Indeed chieftains of the APC in the South-East had endorsed him for the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

To become a minister, he will have to resign his hip of the House of Reps.

You go ban tire na. So what happens to freedom of expression and beliefs? So Yorubas are free to aspire and promote their Odua beliefs and Hausas, Arewa but Igbos of course are to be banned to talk or aspire for their beliefs in Biafra. Highly disappointed in you Seun.

What stops you from coming up with a superior argument why they should remain in Nigeria? Why are you so scared to discuss Biafra? Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss.
YOU ARE "ONPOINT" BRO. Every patriotic Nigeria should even be praying so that this system(Nigeria) will disintegrate into many sovereign states. This would be a solution, so that each family will concentrate and put her house in order. there will still be open opportunity to unit after each family had amended their houses. Reuniting will then be on agreed DEAL just like EU , UK ETC

The earlier average Nigerians rise to restructuring as against the wish of elites who ever want the statues quo to remain the better for us. Whosoever is blaming ipob should ask himself the cause of this agitation. Making inquiries by going back to history is necessary If he didn't know .
