There are only three creations of Allah that possess thinking faculty as far as i know!

1. Humans.

2. Jinns.

3. Angels.

The first two have free will unlike the last. In Islam Angels are absolutely subservient to Allah!
Shaitan was top a Jinn that was among the Angels back then before Adam alaihi salam.

So as far as your question, they can only be Jinn. And using them would involve you leaving Islam! Our reliance is only with Allah!

The Prophet had made someone the Ameer, leader, of a group of people on an expedition and he instructed them to obey him.
Along the way they got the Ameer annoyed. Infuriated , he told them to set up a huge fire and enter it, reminding them of the Prophet's instruction:

ألَيسَ أمَرَكمُ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ بأنْ تُطيعوني؟

Didn't the Prophet tell you to obey me ?

Some actually attempted while others had to pull them back, saying :
فَرَرْنا إلى النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ مِنَ النَّارِ

We came to the Prophet ( becoming Muslims) because we wanted to avoid Hell!
Upon return to Madinah , the incident was relayed to the Prophet and he let them realize that had they entered it , they would have entered Hell itself.

He, The Prophet, mentioned a very important rule:

إنَّما الطَّاعَةُ في المَعروفِ.

"Obedience is only in that which is good"
.......................
Allah has not given absolute obedience to anybody be it parents , husbands, scholars or rulers. Anyone who claims otherwise is categorically wrong.
........................
If you unfortunately fall under a control freak whether as a husband or wife or a parent and this person gives instructions you find strange, seek for a second opinion. If you follow him or her sheepishly and harm yourself , Islam is not at fault. You are responsible.
We became practising Muslims because we don't want to be stupid.

Self harm because of the instructions of another is the peak of stupidity.

Assalamu alaikum,

What is prescribed in Islam is to constantly our morning ,evening and before sleeping supplications and this would protect us as Allah wills!

Any food eaten in a dream is a bonus!
If the food has alcohol or pork, please don't eat it as it is haram.
If it comes with meat do eat it and if possible you can ask for another plate.
Also if Juice or other drinks are available to wash it down, do enjoy yourself!

There's nothing spiritual about this food!

And when you wake up (in the morning) your morning du'a!

Normally Before we eat, we should recite:

بِسْمِ اللهِ‎

Bismillah

In the Name of Allah.

However, in case of forgetting to recite the Bismillah and we are already halfway eating our meal, we may recite:

بِسمِ اللهِ أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَه‏ُ

Bismillahi awwalahu wa akhirahu

In the Name of Allah at the beginning and at the end.

This is based on the hadith of the Prophet s.a.w:

When any of you wants to eat, he should mention the Name of Allah (Bismillah) in the beginning. If he forgets to do it in the beginning, he should say (I begin with the Name of Allah at the beginning and at the end)."
(Sunan Abi Dawud)

Dua After Eating
Among the practices of the Prophet s.a.w. is praising Allah s.w.t. for the food after eating. The Messenger of Allah s.a.w. said,

"He who has taken food and says at the end: (All praise is due to Allah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any endeavour on my part or any power), all his past sins will be forgiven."

“All praise is due to Allah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any endeavour on my part or any power.”

PLEASE NAIRALAND, STOP ASKING US TO AGREE THAT WE ARE MUSLIMS BEFORE MAKING COMMENTS.

MY OWN OPINION: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A PASTOR BUT A DUBIOUS FELLOW PARADING HIMSELF AS PASTOR. AND THE WOMAN WHO IS NOT WISE ENOUGH TO SEEE THINGS FOR HERSELF ALSO FELL FOR THAT DUBIOUS SHIT. IMAMS DO SAME, ALPHAS, TRADITIONAL PRIESTS TOO.

This is not my story! It was narrated by By Joy Anwulli who is most likely a Christian!

In a previous thread https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/7701078/one-muslim-still-engage-fortune we stated about fortune telling and witchcraft:
It is forbidden to engage in fortune telling and witchcraft. One who visits a fortuneteller and believes whatever s/he says of the unseen has committed major disbelief and is no more a Muslim. It is either you are a Muslim with total reliance on Allah or you are a non-Muslim! You can't do both!

"There's this woman we made contributions for to start up a business. Frying yam, potatoes and fish in a very busy junction.
We got her frying pan, gas and tripod, beans, potatoes, fish and other stuff in small quantity for a start, the first day she sold everything and had to buy yams from aboki for her waiting customers, we were surprised and happy. 🤑

She sold for one week and stopped, I asked her what the problem was she said her pastor asked her to stop that her ELEDA (creator) is not happy with her, her destiny is greater than frying yam at the junction!

I asked what her new plans are now, she said her pastor asked her to come to the church to fast for 7days so as to appease her ELEDA, I asked her what will happen to her business?
She said her Pastor's cousin will take over. I said ok
The pastor's cousin came to the point where she does the business, found the locker open the gas and other utensils were not there. She called from church to tell me her pastor's cousin's findings.

I told her the people who contributed has taken them back, let the pastor's cousin buy her own. She ended the call...
I saw her today in mile 12 helping people to carry load for people! A year drop escaped my eyes.....😭
Perhaps, her ELEDA IS PROUD OF HER NEW PROFESSION!

Oga, all the books in the Bible, including Paul's letters, Peter's letters and the gospels were inspired by God.

How is Paul that never met Jesus inspired?
How was Luke and Mark that were historians inspired?

Many have undertaken to draw up an of the things that have been fulfilled[a] among us, 2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3 With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught. Luke 1:1-4

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 7:25:
Now regarding your question about the young women who are not yet married. I do not have a command from the Lord for them. But the Lord in his mercy has given me wisdom that can be trusted, and I will share it with you.

1 Corinthians 7:6
I say this as a concession, not as a command.

1 Corinthians 7:40
In my judgment, however, she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.

The former Luke was writing just as others wrote while the latter Paul was using his opinion as wise man wey he be!

Are you saying you are wiser than your Quran that approved the same gospel you are condemning?

Check Surah 5:46-47.

What's the context of these verses?

You are the one who said it is lost. So, show me the gospel that your Quran said is a book of guidance and light.
The Original of the Gospel according to your scholars is lost! All you have today are translations of copies of copies!

It's obvious you are one of those stupid daft Muslims, who never read the Quran by themselves but rely solely on deceptive Islamic scholars to dictate to them.

And like the fool that you are, you swallow everything your deceptive, cursed Islamic scholars feed you without carrying out personal investigation. Buroda omugo!

You sabi abuse just like the Biblical Jesus!

Matthew 23:33
"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

Luke 11:40
You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?

Matthew 16:23
Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

What type of perfect role model is this to follow? He went around insulting people while he preached, while at the same time he told his followers to show love to their enemies? He even went so far as calling one of his disciples "Satan"!! Why couldn't Jesus be more patient and hold his tongue?

Very soon you would get a bit physical at me

John 2:15
When it was almost time for the Jewish over, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!"

Because the contents of the letters Paul wrote to those early churches are also useful to us today. We are facing the same challenges as those early churches and find the contents of the letters helpful in handling the challenges.
So that's what make them scripture?

What about Mark and Luke who were not among the 12 disciples? Those days every Tom, Dick and Harry can write history for the Church fathers to cannonise!

It doesn't matter who wrote the books, provided the content is pointing Christians to dedicate their lives to God more.

Exactly! how will it matter?

Now, show me the gospel and Torah that the Quran ask Christians to follow.
Show me where Allah asked "Christians" to follow Gospel and Torah?

If you claim the gospel is lost, are you saying your Quran is asking Christians to follow a lost document?
You should product the originals if you have it.

Is the Quran blind that it didn't know that the gospel was lost before asking Christians to follow it?
Where did the Qur'an ask Christians to follow it?

You guys are contradicting yourselves.
You are the blind one here!

What Are The Defects That Must Be Disclosed To A Potential Marriage Partner?

Question:
I have been suffering from a mental illness for several years. For a while, I have been praying regularly, reading Qur’an, ing Allah (dhikr), giving charity and helping people a great deal, and I am much better, but I feel that the illness is still lurking. Is it obligatory for me to inform anyone who proposes marriage to me about that?

Praise be to Allah

We ask Allah to heal you and grant you well-being. It seems to us that this illness is not real. If we assume that it is real, then we would say: if this illness would not have any impact on married life or on raising children, then there is no need to inform a prospective marriage partner about it. But if it does have some impact, in the sense that it may result in some problems after marriage that would prevent you from developing bonds of love and creating a tranquil home, then you must tell him about that, because concealing it would be a kind of deceit. It is proven that deceit is forbidden in general from the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), according to which the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever deceives (people) does not belong to me.” Narrated by Muslim, 102.

You should not pay any attention to imaginary things with regard to your illness. Most such things are tricks of the Shaytaan, and are aimed at preventing you from getting married and keeping yourself chaste.

The basic guidelines with regard to informing a suitor about illness in the prospective wife are as follows:

1. if the sickness will have any impact on married life and will affect the wife’s ability to fulfil her duties towards her husband and children;

2. if it will be off-putting to the husband because of its appearance or smell;

3. if it is real and permanent, and is not something imagined or temporary that will disappear with the age of time or after marriage.

The scholars of the Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas were asked:

There is a young woman who is occasionally affected by periods of insanity, then it goes away again, and she goes back to normal for a period that may be long or short. Sometimes prospective suitors come to propose marriage to her, the family finds it difficult to arrange a marriage for her, because they do not know how to tell the prospective suitor about the situation and they are very hesitant, which leads to missing out on the opportunity to get married. Recently the family have decided that they would rather get her married to a person who has some kind of disability or other problem, so that it will be easier for him to accept her. Now there is a potential suitor who is infertile, and another who is the son of her paternal aunt, who has proposed to her and has stated that he is aware of her illness. But the problem is that the mother of this young man – i.e., the paternal aunt of the girl – has the same sickness, and when we asked the doctor what he thought about this marriage, he said that he did not recommend it, because the probability of having children who were affected by the same illness was great.

My question is: what is the Islamic ruling on such a marriage? If it turns out that it produces a child who is also ill, will we have the ones who are responsible for that, as we would have played a role in bringing about this marriage? Please note that the possibility of producing children who are also ill is great.

They replied:

You should not prevent the girl from getting married, and you should give her in marriage to this man who has come to propose to her, and leave the matter to Allah. You should ignore the doctor’s advice which is based on probability, because marriage serves a purpose for both parties and protects the girl from the risk of spinsterhood, on condition that she agrees to marry the man of whom her guardian approves for her.

Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz, Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Razzaaq ‘Afeefi, Shaykh ‘Abdullah ibn Ghadyaan, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh.

Fataawa al-Lajnah ad-Daa’imah, 18/194

They were also asked:

If a girl has a problem in the uterus or with her menstrual cycle that requires treatment which may delay any chance of bearing children, should the suitor be told about that?

They replied:

If this problem is something temporary, something that happens to women then disappears, then it is not necessary to tell the suitor about it. But if this problem is a serious disease or it is not a minor, temporary problem, and the proposal comes when she still has this problem and has not been healed of it, then in that case her guardian must inform the suitor of it. End quote.

Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez Aal-ash-Shaykh, Shaykh Saalih ibn Fawzaan al-Fawzaan,Shaykh Bakr Abu Zayd

Fataawa al-Lajnah ad-Daa’imah, 19/15

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen was asked:

There is a man who proposed marriage to a woman, but it is known that this woman has a physical defect, which is hidden and not obvious, and there is the hope that it may be cured, like leprosy and vitiligo. Should the suitor be told about that?

He replied:
If a man proposes marriage to a woman, and she has a hidden defect, and there are people who know about it, then if the suitor asks about her, it is obligatory to disclose it. This is quite clear. But if he does not ask, then he should be told about it because this comes under the heading of sincere advice, especially if it is something that there is no hope of it going away. But if there is hope of it going away, then this is easier. However there are things that may go away, but they go away slowly, such as leprosy for example – if it is true that it may go away, but up till now we know nothing to suggest that it may go away. So there is a difference between that which it is hoped will go away soon and that which it is hoped will go away later on. End quote.

Good. And the Bible gave you a record of everything he preached, which is the gospel that the Quran ask Christians to follow.

"The Bible" is not a person! Who wrote the books of the Bible?

Paul who wrote about 14 Books in the New testament never met Jesus in real time!

How can Paul write letters to some people and it'll become "Scripture"?
