I studied pharmacy but didn't graduate, repeated a couple of times, had to quit at my penultimate year. I had no future with that profession. Pharmacy has never really been my thing. I hate cramming large dose of bulky contents. My dad forced me into studying pharmacy. Am a person who loves calculation and chemical engineering has always been my dream course by my dad refused that, that only destroyed our friendship till date... dad see pharmacy as a profession that you can start up with out waiting for government to employ you but engineering is about strong connection, which he feels he doesn't have. I wrote this year and I had 270 and physics was my highest score, shows I love calculations like mad. Am only considering OAU THC bcuz it won't waste my time much so that when I finish I can japa to Zambia work there as a nurse for two years max, get Zambia port. And japa to the United States. Why won't I go to Zambia Nigerian port is as useless as tissue paper, Zambia port will open doors for you to work in the US. Although Nigerian may still take u to the UK with your nursing degree Sha. But am not a fan of the UK. Being in the US will help recover all wasted years of suffering I endured studying pharmacy.
Some of my pharmacy colleagues got places in community pharmacies as pharmacist and are getting well paid like let me say #75-120k per month depending on the location as regards how market dey move for the side. Most dint get placement at hospitals if not their pay would have been between #120-150k as starters.
See pharmacy is for intelligent crammers not stupid and senseless crammers, that will just be cramming all the materials without deep reflection on what you believe the lecturer would really want you to focus on from the whole material. In pharmacy you can't have time for your sef, the no of labs in a week is enough for you to breakdown, I feel sick countless times dues to overstressing my self cramming beyond what my brain can retain. So I had to drop out and find my calling. So I took another jamb and filled in school of nursing.
If your friend Sabi cram, he won't repeat stall bt may result some courses and if he reads well he will the resisted courses and promote with his classmates to the next class, max no of courses you are allowed to resit is 3 subjects, if after resit results are out and your failed just one pere, you go repeat. And if you are already on repeat before, Dem go withdraw the person with No mercy.
If your friend come Sabi cram and also Sabi calculate especially all those pharmchem courses, he will be on distinction. If he doesn't know how to calculate, then he should be ready to link up with colleague's that Sabi calculation, that one go still make am for pharmacy. But if cramming is your problem abeg no go pharmacy ooo. You won't just graduate. You fit like repeat each class two times na you Sabi. Spend nine years and in your finals your project defense or overall performance is poor, you are going home if you fail part 5 twice, hence you here of pharmacy students committing suicide even after getting to their final year. As have said you will see a botany students having 4.0. cgpa in year one who couldn't meet pharmacy utme cut-off mark but crossed over to pharmacy in year two and still lead us all and finish with distinction, why, it's bcuz she Sabi cram book die(does kind ppl wey fit cram Bible from Genesis to revelation). But person wey score 300 for inside jamb enter pharmacy after part 1, the person was on 4.00 only to get to part two and performance started dropping. Maybe due to lab stress and wahala of having to write lab note for about 5 or 6 different lab you will have in a week and still want to be social and still add church activities then maybe school politics, my brother na for that year two Dem go chase such student commot. Why? bcuz he can not cram like the botany student who can cram a 39 pages pharmacognosy material from Pali to pali.
Let me confess.
I knew in my last year in pharmacy I felt like my brain was failing me, and I just read more and more, sleep only for two hours out of 24 hours in a day, I grew slimmer and ended up muddling things up in the exam Hall due to restlessness and lack of enough sleep. Going blank in major exams I read so hard for. So I knew within my self before results came out that am going no where with the nonsense have written in my exams so I went to take another jamb. So when results came out and I failed I wasn't even surprised. My parents even already forgotten they have a son in pharmacy since they have started doubting if if I will ever graduate due to repeating a class everytime. But it's doesn't concern me. they don't pay my school fees I trained my self in school, I run a pig poultry farm with my own money, so going back to school to study nursing is my choice. My biggest motivation is this as long as I don't have a Nigerian girl as girlfriend or any woman in my life. My finance is safe, my business is bumming. And no girl(leach) would pressure me into committing myself to marriage. So I can easily go back to school without feeling as if am wasting somebody's daughters time without marring her. Also my parents can't say shit to me about marriage to me since dey don't pay my bills. Marriage will happen when I reach the US not now. Am still a virgin and have never had a girlfriend, so it's easier for me to archive all these my aspirations with out any distraction (Nigerian girl).

First off, my knowledge on fundamentals is very basic so I may not be able to answer your question appropriately. The naira appreciation against the dollar is simply because of FGN intervention and not off economic conditions or stimulus. The funny thing is that Nigeria CBN is a tool and puppet of the FGN, they have no power of their own. Judging based off the economic data and conditions of Nigeria, the naira is very much weaker than the dollar and should be in a far more worse condition. The Nigerian economy despite being the largest economy has a very weak labour market due to high unemployment rate and low jobs creation which is definitely affecting the labour participation rate of the country. I read through the article you posted and I gleam that the bigger portion of the labour participants are mostly business owners or self employed people. Also inflation seems to be rallying up in the economy especially food and transportation inflation with the CBN having no clear plan on how they intend to fight inflation, Nigeria production and manufacturing sector is in shambles and a whole lot of other factors which economically speaking should have greatly devalue the naira. But the FGN intervene by floating the naira and then restricted foreign reserve to the citizens (the cancellation of international transaction on all naira ATM cards is one good example of it). you can't go to the bank to get dollar now as it has been cancelled or restricted from citizens. this definitely lead to rise of P2P transactions on most crypto exchanges that give access to a semblance of foreign reserve at black market rates (why I say a semblance is because usdt is not USD neither is it owned by the federal reserve bank of America despite it being pegged and having almost the same value as the dollar) and with the continuous woes of the economy, this definitely leads to the demand for dollar as a save haven to hedge against naira devaluation. The fight against bureau de change and the blockage of the naira trading on some crypto exchanges by the FGN is what is ing the naira and not real economic conditions. There are certain countries in which their government can interfere or manipulate their economy or the value of their currencies from the depreciating further, I'll use china as a case study, at the start of the year the Chinese Stock market was falling due to a bubble that happen in the Chinese real estate market (The Evergrand housing market crash) this lead to outflows of foreign investment from china leading to serious bear trend in the Chinese Stock market and the fall of the yuan against the dollar, towards the end of January, the Chinese government intervened by ordering the PBOC bank which is the Chinese central bank to hike interest rates by a 25 basis points and then also stopped the selling of shares in the Chinese Stock market, investors could only buy shares but could not sell them if they wanted to. Because of that the yuan momentarily rallied against the dollar before it continued it's bearish trend. Look at USDJPY, the BOJ have been warning of a manual intervention on the yen if USDJPY goes beyond 152. and when you compare the economies of the US, China and Japan, you would see that the US economy is much more stronger than the other economies hence the strength in dollar. So my humble submit on the naira appreciation against the dollar is simply because of FGN intervention and not based of economic stimulus...

Thanks for your kind suggestions but they are a big no for me as it is not in line with my Japa plans. Although I intend to study and learn both python programming and data analysis because my goal is to further my post graduate studies abroad and one of the required skills in my field of interest is proficiency in data analysis or python programming or even mathlab. bros abeg no quit your job ooo, I was also a teacher like you but I quit last year December because I was preparing for NYSC, unfortunately for me the new directive by the DG that all prospective corpers should use their NIN when ing for service and its compulsory, meanwhile there's a mistake on my date of birth for my nin and it does not tally with all my documents including my BVN, I have to rectify it. I went to the NIN office 2 weeks ago and made remita payment of 16k for the correction of the date of birth and uptil now the change is yet to be effected on my NIN, I have been to their office to make complaints and I was asked to come back next week. now I can't go back to the school that I teach because they have already gotten a substitute teacher for the subjects which I teach. although I have a very good record with the school but there's no vacancy for me there. I have had a test of trading full time and with all sincererity, I don't think it's what I want to do for the rest of my life, of course you have the freedom and luxury of time, but danger there is that you will overtrade and make stupid mistakes by spending too much time on the charts, or even try to force trades during periods of low volatility in the markets. Honestly staying at home is killing me and I feel unproductive. If not for my NIN mishap which I'm still trying to fix, I should have been on service now, I even went to immigration office to apply for my international port but I could not do that as I was told that my NIN is a requirement, so I have to fix my NIN before I can even apply for a port, this is really fustrating. Honestly trading full time is really boring and that will definitely lead you to make silly mistakes which can cause serious damage to your . you might claim that you have strong discipline and psychology but I have come to realize that the human mind is never to be trusted especially when you are tempted to do things which you are not supposed to do.

I don't think quite so on US30 as strong earnings is currently fueling the bullish momentum in the stock market, macdonalds and caterpillar which are also components of the US30 index will be releasing their earnings before the stock market opens on Monday. I did a little digging and I find out that both companies are also a heavy weight component of the US30 and will definitely impact the performance of US30 once their earnings run out. I strongly believe that a higher earnings report will make US30 out perform nasdaq and sp500 on Monday.

As for gold FOMC and NFP has given USD a strong bullish fundamentals, this is a risk off scenario which is why I am strongly bearish on gold but you see that attack way Iranian backed terrorist carry out on US army don spoil am for me, joe biden promised to retaliate with multiple strikes in the middle east maybe this weekend, and if that happens gold and oil will gap up at market open on Sunday night. I personally have no plan of trading gold next week for my sanity sake. I am definitely not going to trade or look at gold this week, my focus is on US30.

I still have my 5ers acct although still in draw down but I am slow crawling out of it, once I get out of it, it would be the third time I am coming out of draw down to breakeven. I even had to create a trade explorer for the so that I can better track my performance. Slow and steady is the path I chose to follow and that's why I don't trade more than 0.01 lot on the and allow risk to reward work it's magic.
