Asiwaju for president,Sen. Gov Shettima for Vice president....2023 is a. Goallllllll.
God bless the Jagaban of Africa,I always wonder why anyone will argue Asiwaju isn't fit to be president of Nigeria, this same Nigeria that Baba Buhari is ruling, the same Nigeria that President Jonathan ruled for 5 and half years, even Baba Obasanjo ruled this same Nigeria for more than 10 years combined and someone will argue Asiwaju isn't fit intellectually or physically to rule Nigeria.
Asiwaju that was talking about IPP way back in 2004 when baba Obasanjo was busy building his power reforms project that hasn't added 1000 MW to the power grid 16 years after he left power.
Asiwaju that was comionate enough to pay all the WAEC fees of all students in Lagos public schools way back in 2002 when it seemed impossible.
Asiwaju of Africa that reformed the pension system and 16 years after he left power, the state doesn't owe pensioners.
E gbe kini Yi wa,Tinubu Loan.
I repeat no presidential candidate stands close to Asiwaju intellectually in these 2023 Elections.
I repeat the words of the incoming Vice president of Nigeria,Sen. Gov Shettima, let us argue on the supremacy of whose ideas will move Nigeria forward.
God bless Nigeria.
well said n good analysis

Very true... It is more like Obi and Atiku fighting for their already 2019 t votes. Tinubu is not affected a bit.
The number of new votes or should i say voters that is adding to the 2019 own .. Is just 1m+ newly ed voters, after INEC screened the double registration out.
Even if the 1m+ people are to vote for obi, which is practically impossible, add it to the number of Atiku/obi votes in 2019(which is impossible because Atiku already have the northern voters in his bag) ... It wont be enough to even win an election.
Incase you dont understand what am trying to say. Even if you Obi votes presently + Atiku's vote + the 1m newly ed voters, it isnt still enough to defeat a certain Tinubu APC if going by the Last general election.
Why am refferring to the last general elections is because nothing changes, nothing have change. Except the rallies and supposedly '2million' match which we witness almost every seconds.
The same people engaging in rallies or ing obi, never voted for APC 2019.
The same set of people feeling marginalised on religious bases, because of the muslim-muslim ticket will never vote for APC in 2019 too.
The same christian bodies antagonising muslim muslim ticket, Never ed Buhari 2019 also.
The same Afenifere, never ed APC 2019
The same South East, South south.. Are traditionally PDP voters, their votes never changes the outcome of 2019.
Infact some of the muslims voted Atiku/obi 2019, but this time arround with the present political situation where the campaign as been turned into religious one, religous sentiments have found it way in Nigeria politics now, those votes are going to APC this time.
Undecided voters in 2019 like me, who voted for Atiku/obi will never ever vote for any of them this time, why? Because of the aggressive way of the obidients followers. I know so many of us here that are on that line or should i say clinging to that excuse.
The south-west voted overwhelming for Atiku/obi 2019, not because of the love for Atiku or Obi but because we felt the pain of the failed First tenure of buhari then.. Even lagos was almost lost by APC even with Tinubu.
I feel my analysis is right here because those states lost by APC 2019 in southwest, was won by same APC governors during the governorship election except Oyo state which was narrowly lost.
Now, coming to 2023, i feels a tribal sentiment will play major role here, APC will win massively in south west. But what if APC lost, they lost Overall in the southwest in 2019 in the presidential election. It still never changes anything. APC STILL WON THE ELECTION. BUHARI WON.
So when you take all this into consideration, analyse it without religious sentiment or hatred for any candidate. IT DOESN'T CHANGES ANYTHING. Infact the antagonism. of the Buhari candidature we witness in 2019, was far far more than the Tinubu candidature upset we are witness now. Because the anger of Buhari's first tenure which was marred by gross incompetency, insecurities upset alot of people and it cut across all regions. Be it yoruba, hausa, igbo, egede, idoma, ebira... Just name it.. People were angry with his first tenure.
And after the election? I think we all know what happened - Buhari won again.
Some people are saying, the youth, the youth!. Do they PVc's? Alright fine, someone also came out to say they ed because of Obi this year.
Then they didnt turn out massively like we are been deceivedto believe, the number of newly ed voters justify my point. Just 1m+ (which am sure the youth cant have more than 50% of 1m+)
So in my opinion, it takes more more than this childish rallies, photoshopping Tinubu's picture in an irritating manner, or throwing of insult and jabs. We, when i mean we, i mean i included engage in all this for Atiku/obi 2019, Buhari still won.
By simple logic and permutation and the little knowledge i have about politics, TINUBU may not win next year general election, but APC WILL DEFINITELY WIN. And it will be by landslide JUST LIKE 2019.
BECAUSE NOTHING HAS CHANGED EXCEPT THAT OBI AND ATIKU ARE NOW SHARING THEIR VOTES.
Well said, and analysed

Why didn't she seat at the back seat. And why flash so much money in the presence of a total stranger. Females should learn to arrange themselves properly before entering a cab and avoid giving anyone the impression that they're loaded financially. You don't board a cab and start rearranging your file and displaying hard currency in the presence of a hungry driver. We really have to be security conscious cos the economy is pushing people to do unspeakable things.
She should go to the police station and make an official report, then bolt directly and report the driver to them. He's details are everywhere so there's no way he can run away.

Asking Tinubu to choose a northern Christian is like asking a governorship candidate from the southeast states to choose a Muslim as running mate. Can anyone mention one Christian political heavyweight that can earn Tinubu victory in the northern states of the country? Election is won by numbers and not by sentiments and by the way, this is one of the people that stood by Tinubu when the going was tough.
It's unfortunate where ethnic and religious bigotry had taken us, we have tried Christian-Muslim, Muslim - Christian, Christian-Muslim, Muslim-Christian to no avail, LET'S TRY Muslim-Muslim, Christian-Christian and see if it can solve the problem the country is having. Obi can as well change his vice to a Christian because his online ers seems more concerned about Tinubu's running mate than ing Obi since the announcement of Shettima as Tinubu's running mate.
GBAM!!! Well said, tnx for your nationalistic comment.

As a person I respect your opinion but I believe what Kwankwaso said is a heavy slap on the face of all Southerners irrespective of Parties, how can the Northern Muslim still want to Rule 8 years back to back in a society like Nigeria, and you claim Nigeria is one, I think this is to tell all southerners politicians irrespective of party to team up for a southerner. it is an insult to our existence as a nation and everyone else who want power to rotate.
Kwankwaso words must be condemned in totality as what he is pushing for a one sided Nigeria and we say enough is enough

This what playing out in this present regime, and you guys are shouting marginalizion. You don't have to keep your eggs in one basket Incase it may not turn out as planned.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu showed he has strong political structure and massive goodwill outside of SW. Across the 6 geopolitical zones of the country, he had deliberately invested in other people's aspirations as well as intervened in other people's moments of trial. He built network of politicians who owe him a payback. Today, he got it.
Pres Buhari's humiliation of Tinubu also gained sympathy for him. Many Northern APC politicians believe that Tinubu deserve a better deal having given Pres. Buhari his 100% once again in 2019 in spite of being relegated after 2015 landmark APC victory. Matter of fact Pres. Buhari won APC primary over Kwankwanso and Atiku on the strength of SW delegates' block votes. Being politicians, these Northern politicians know how painful being used and dumped can be. Today, they stood for him.
Congratulations, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu!

I try to look for the slightest good in people. From that, I try to give them many excuses. I don't throw people out of the window anyhow until it's clear such a person is a "mat person".
Many of us would cry more than Tinubu if we were to be in his shoes. There is no God service in Nigeria politics. It's all a game of interest. Tinubu has contributed immensely into making men rise to power, he sacrificed, built and waited. He knew what he wanted and he built for it. The guys he contributed to their rise knew about his ambition. They knew they are part of his strategy to achieve his goal, they agreed by allowing him tool for them.
You can't betray people because it's politics. Many who sees nothing wrong in what those guys did to him has a tendency of doing same to any of their benefactors. They are loyal only when it's beneficial to them. Many human beings are like that. But still, it's a bad trait even when it's ubiquitous.
Ordinary Nigerians have a right to reject Tinubu, not those who knew about his ambition all along and allow him to toil for them only to turn against him. Their is no two ways about it, they betrayed him.
Even if they rig him out of the primaries, I would like to see them try their popularity without him. He should pull his structure out of APC and let's see APC crawl into history.
Never bite a finger that fed you.
Well said, say no to betrayal. What goes around comes around. Karma's waiting
