tellalexander: What the University is telling you is that they could not meet up with the minimum required number of students for the course so they can't proceed with the programme for this semester. However, they're proposing two options, firstly, they can help you transfer your application to the Autumn semester (hopefully they'd have gotten the required number by that time). Secondly, choose another course from their programme's list. |

PlexusNL: The German scale is quite straightforward... You know in Nigeria, finishing with a 5.0 CGPA is first class whule on the German scale it would be a 1.0 (very good: an outstanding achievement) which is their highest attainable grade point. So, the lower your CGPA is on the Nigerian scale, say 1.0/5.0, the higher it will be on the German scale, 5.0 (translated as insufficient / failed: an achievement which does not meet the requirements) The rule of thumb is, the closer you are to the 1.0 mark the better... 3.5 on the German scale puts you at a serious disadvantage as it translates to "befriedigend" that is satisfactory (an achievement which corresponds to average requirements) Hope this helps. 2 Likes |

Irene150: Hello, seems we're heading in the same direction. I've also been itted into a Uni in Freising, Munich. From what my classmates have been discussing (plus what I've seen online), the houses are not too pricey in Freising but they're scarce. Did you with "Studentenwerk" in Munich? They've been sending rental contracts since last month (I've personally gotten two) but I'm undecided due to obvious reasons. Heard student jobs are available in the area, based on its proximity to the Munich Airport and other spots. The gist I've heard is quite positive (the university created a WhatsApp group for we Summer Intakes and quite a number of them are already in DE, so I get first-hand information). Plus the town is lively, it's a school community (Technical University Munich, Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, one other University are all there). I'm rambling already, I'll stop here. 2 Likes |

I hope you get a positive response soonest. There's a twist to the entire programme though, lectures would be at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Freising abby2443: |

1. Your documents won't be certified without the application forms. It's one of the requirements 2. You cannot use it for another school. There's this system they follow, the documents you want to certify, e.g. certificates, transcript, will be attached to the application form, the top left corner (I think) will be stapled and folded (very firmly), the edge will then be stamped, likewise the back pages (if you have more than one set). You'll then be given the notarized set(s) (with the edge folded and stamped), any tampering will render the document unacceptable 3. Address is 15, Walter Carrington Crescent, VI, Lagos. The crescent is pretty popular (Uber or Oride should suffice) Freemanlion: 1 Like |

It's always sad seeing posts like this. I'm sure your sister felt so good after her "revenge". While you're busy eating your mouth-watering meals tomorrow, my siblings alongside 35000+ operatives of the FRSC would be on the road the entire day, trying to save lives. They'll leave their wives, children, comfortable homes just to make sure that your car reaches its destination in one piece, they battle exhaustion and fatigue so that man/woman can spend the holiday with family, with their sweat and blood they try fervently to ensure that long separated family can come together and create wonderful memories this period. Not all heroes wear capes! 197 Likes 14 Shares |
