Use 30Amps Mppt charge controller and at least 300W s (2 x 150W in series) or PWM CC with the s connected in parallel.

For precaution: make sure the charge controller to be used has adjustable input settings so that you don't over charge the battery; also, ensure you don't use the battery below 12v if you intend to make it last long.

I think the ropes those Hausa sell that is used for fetching water from inside water wells will suffice. They are usually strong and taut ropes.

If its the wide flat one, it holds up pretty good. Its about 2" wide. Quite strong, doesn't cut into the hand when pulling up a heavy , and a big roll is less expensive than 10mm decommissioned cable. Lol.
Used it to assist in trimming overhanging branches if a tree shading a selected roof. It withstood the stress okay.

depending on your load and batteries, but 1500w of s is too small for a 48V setup assuming u have 4pcs 200ah batteries
