Hi good evening guys, so i have this friend of mine going for nysc this month, she’s gotten her call up number and all that registration done but according to nysc document required for nysc camp ... I don’t know if she will be allowed to do the camp registration because she study dental technology at a college of health , but the DTRBN board haven’t award her certificate of the board exam she did at December up until now... she’s so worried that I decided to come here and ask if that board exam certificate/license really matters during her camp registration

If her course is also consider as part of the medical related course that require Licence/Cert, let her wait till she get d Licence. It's not a must she must go with d present Batch/Stream even though she has ed as she can always Stream2 or revalidate 2 any of d subsequent batches, but she need go with d Licence, unless maybe her course is not regard under d said category, that's when she could by it requirement in camp.

Bro, just wait till ur school issue d Statement/Notification of Result 2 u guys. It's an important requirement in camp registration. Going 2 camp without it is like wasting ur time.

U can always Stream2 or next Batch should u miss out on this. It's important u go with such document. There is no shortcut 2 it as far as I know. Sm1 might say otherwise though.

During my time, couple of PCMs I was aware of fell victim of ur situation, they had 2 return back home cos of it. All d best.

Yes, though the payment is optional. Paying means u will get 2 print ur Exemption letter via ur dashboard, but should u don't pay, it mean u will av 2 visit ur school 4 d collection. I will advise u pay anyway.

As 4 when it would be ready, not 100% sure, but think d letter would be ready when they start printing Call-Up Letter, but 4 d Exemption Certificate, till dey start issuing Discharge Cert 2 those who gonna serve which would be forward 2 ur school, all things been equal.

I assume u are foreign student, if Yes, it's until after ur physical verification b4 u would be evaluated and given ur Call-Up Number. U guys would be communicated. Just keep visiting ur dashboard nd email. It's nothing 2 worry abt should u are a foreign student as assume.

I made an error on my date of birth due to Nysc server that was always refreshing while registration... please how can I correct this besides I’m a foreign student, it’s not showing on my dashboard the link to Date of Birth.... how can I fix this please. Thanks

DOB is been generated by default 4 local students, can't really say 4 foreign students which u are. And 2 correct it at all using WAEC, it must reflect in ur dashboard.

U shud visit d ICT department wen u get 2 camp 2 lodge ur complaint, dey shud be able 2 help out.

If not dat d new Discharge Cert include CMs DOB, wud av suggest u shudn't worry as long as it didn't av u exempted, but u shud, wif d new development.

Thanks I was told at the cafe.. that I could rectify it at camp just wanted to confirm because it says on the portal you can’t change your DOB after you’ve been deployed

Thanks mate. Tho I also have a misspelling on my transcript. A missing letter in my other name. Surname and first name is correct.. I complained to the school and was told I'll be getting a new transcript which will be used for physical verification.

My fear is during the physical verification, is it advisable to use the new transcript or I should use the "errored" one which I ed. Or I should just take both incase I need to explain myself.

U can apply 4 correction of DOB on ur dashboard. U gonna need 2 buy WAEC Pin 4rm first bank or so 2 effect d correction.
