I had issues with my former laptop, my cousin gave me his own.
It was Window 8 when I got it, upgraded it to Window 10.
Now after ing both the Visual studio code IDLE and Python, I'm having trouble installing the python in the VSC.
It's been frustrating and I need help please...

Please apart from VSC, is there any other good IDLE platform that's available and free?

There are a lot but I'd recommend sublime text.

It is better you install python on your system directly rather than via VS code.

I'm curious though, is that python you're installing or one of its formatter?

You should read the logs, ensure you have python interpreter installed and a fair network to extension.

It's the main python from VSC extension

Ok. Just take that advice and install directly to your OS from python website.
Leave all these VS code abracadabra.

Dude the one for vscode is just a formatter and to execute python smoothly..
You have to install python as you do otger apps on your pc

Why not use Pycharm? Install python on your computer, and install pycharm too. You will be fine.
