you should change your course of study to the correct one. it should match with the one on your i-20 , you can still be able to fill another DS-160 if may be you have submitted the previous one. fill a new DS-160 and update it on the CGI site where you book appointment.

It depends on your school. The fact that you received a mail shows it has been acknowledged. When did you send it?

Guys please do you have any idea how far in advance one should be booking a visa appointment? My appointment that was scheduled for the final week of April got cancelled. And a few people for the visit visa also said their interviews they booked in January for April were also cancelled. The appointment page shows May 20 as the next possible date. I'm asking because there is no point booking a date 3 months earlier if it's going to be cancelled. Is it now best to be booking a date less than a month in advance? I'm going for Fall 2021.

Yeah I get you. I booked my initial date cos it was within the 120 days rule, and I just wanted to get done with the visa stuff asap. I think I will just wait till a month to when I wanna interview cos it seems they can just cancel stuff anytime.

It's been about 3 weeks now

My May 11th date for Fall 2021 is still very intact.

Collect your ission letter and I-20 from the agent and do your booking by yourself before this agent gets things mixed up for you.

The agent said he can’t book a date for me because i already have a profile with us embassy.
I tried visit visa in 2018 but i was denied
He said he as forward my details to the embassy since febuary 15 we have not hear anything from them.
Is their an issue or make i just chill he said they will get back to me

That’s very true but I think it will be better you keep checking dates again, whenever you see the one that fits you. You should just book it instead of waiting till a month time. Who knows how next month’s available dates will be but I know it will be fine, more dates are coming. I’m going to wait till I see one.

Please what does it mean by GA applications are submitted through Blackboard. I try to apply for GA in my department and was told GA applications are submitted through Blackboard and will be notified when the time comes.

It might be a third party portal for applications, google it or ask them for the link.

Mine too was cancelled. It was for last week in April which I believe was within 120 days of my school's resumption. Been checking and only dates in November are showing.

if you mean community college I’ll no advise you to commence....apply with a university with a low tuition but good school and you can switch if you get there my own take on it.
