Hi everyone! My bro got into nnpc with a second class lower degree and no M.sc (through connect of course). Please I want to know if there's any chance he might get screened out later in the future? Also, is it possible for me to get ncdmb with a second class lower degree and not have any problems later?

That's not a problem, provided that he was documented and inducted successfully. You can also enter NCDMB with even a degree depending on who sent you there.

Yeah! He did his documentation since September last year and has been collecting salary since then. Thanks for replying

I didn't apply, my bro didn't apply nnpc too! He only got appointment letter August last year.
Yeah the connect is still alive. Everything has been fine for him so far. I'm only asking if there will be any screening on the long run to check people's class of degree since a particular class of degree was specified as minimum requirement during applications

Not immediately, but in the long run there would always be screenings to results and certifications, so i would advise that he tries as much as possible to upgrade himself if he hasn't yet....

Yeah but I thought that will be for the sakes of promotion only. I also thought first degree will be first degree at that stage regardless of what class of degree it was.

Like they are reviewing if you’ve gotten additional qualifications or certifications since employment to warrant promotion or something.
Pleas I’d like to hear more on this.

I once did made an application for a Federal Government job that made Second Class (Upper) and below 28 years a requirement. However, i made Second Class (Lower) and was 29 as at then. I had someone in-house who ensured all my information conformed with the requirements. Nothing can happen to the guy, is connect is strong.

My school is under the DPR and as such usually operates the same way... There were some cases in the past of some staffs being sacked cos during promotion exercise it was found out that many of them didn't have complete WAEC results (maybe they entered through connections or maybe not through normal employment procedures)....

Some others who initially had incomplete results but were able to complete them were fortunate enough to be spared..
