No agency is a money spinner nowadays, you get paid according to your worth.

Irrespective of the pay, NCDMB is a place everyone should pray to work. We should also consider the job satisfaction too, you might be earning over a million and the job satisfaction zero. I pray to find both in NCDMB .

I understand you. There is a difference between working in a federal ministry and working in a federal agency/parastatal. That person you are talking about worked in a federal ministry not an agency. The agencies and parastatals pay way higher. As it is now, only a high paying federal agency would be able to entice me away from the private sector. And truth be told, even NCDMB is not Eldorado. There are even better places and if the opportunity comes, I will grab too. May God help us all.

That’s an exaggeration. All the agencies you’ve mentioned are under MPR.....and like I said earlier, remuneration is the same in of basic, only allowances differ due to staff strength. On that note, maybe PEF could have the advantage due to very few staff compared to these other popular ones......but using the word “learning” is an obvious exaggeration. And please note that I only said “maybe”.

To give you context, read up any of the agencies’ ACTS and you’d see that it’s even on paper that remuneration should be the same with any similar agency in the MPR. I’m not forcing this down your throat, please feel free to read up anyone. I can help you with one if you so ask.

Yeah I get your point. And that’s why I think the lesser the staff the more extra allowances you have like you said. Oh I didn’t know PTDF had less staff than PPRA. I learnt PPRA is about 250 ( from the senate public hearing investigating their ridiculous pay).

And yeah, any other person might be right about the reason for the difference in allowances. I can’t claim to authoritatively know to be honest. It was even a former colleague who now works with NNPC that was giving me the analysis as to why other smaller agencies pay better than NNPC.

That was before they recruited in 2019.

I guess both the DPR & NCDMB have same condition of service and renumeration.

Why don't we all just focus on the next stage. it will be more painful if after discussing this mouth watering salary some don't get the job.

Discussing pay will only intensify ur desperation for this job. And when the outcome ends up being negative(God forbid!) it will sink ur heart.

Most people working there will never tell you their actual pay. I have seen payslip for DPR and PPPRA and honestly i was shocked because all the amounts you see on APL were just peanuts compared to the actual pay. I pray we get in and enjoy money jare. Thank you!

This reasoning is low and quite laughable. I see what your decision for me would have been if it were left to you but let's just leave the decision to God's favour and mercy to get to the interview stage and to the interview team to see whether my stellar experiences, several fully funded trainings at home and abroad plus a little above a dozen international and undeniably relevant certifications in my field will not be considered to fit me into an EH role. Starting afresh lol, they could have just d GT roles then.

I'm thinking most EH will be placed on the equivalent of Level 9 and 10, because Level 12 is managerial grade.
For someone with 8 years experience, you're most likely to be placed on Level 10.

GTs will start on Level 8.

By noms it's 500k monthly without upfront...
But the correct pay for new intakes is 250k plus other allowances.

Upfronts in January will sum the remaining 250k plus others miscellaneous to get your normal upfront for your level.

But apart from the monthly salary you get money for claims after every inspections, travels, workshops, seminars and conferences. You get more than 700k In a month. Make God just help us enter that's all.
