Those guys are dirty rich let's be honest.
If you are familiar with digital music (streaming), you will know better. 1M streams on Spotify can convert thousands of dollars as long as streaming source is genuine. Needless to talk of Napster that can pay up to $15k for a Million streams! This Uzi guy has over 14M monthly listeners on Spotify. That one is just for Spotify that is on the mid-level. One of his songs on same spotify has over 1.4B plays.

He still has tour, booking, collab, merchandise fees.

And asides music, you never can tell what they do to bring in more bucks but the bet is easy.
Money dey sha!

Most musicians are broke, they survive on advance which they have to also pay back

They are not rich...don't be deceived by flashy life.

Musicians are poor, they work for record label, streaming does not pay much because streaming companies are also owned by top record labels.

Music is not a place to get rich, the record labels own you even your streaming s and social media s. They invested in you and will have to make everything back or you are owning them forever

In 20years time, these are the rappers that will be dead broke and living off $2,000 a month from royalty payments. Just look at DMX.

DMX can become a songwriter and be producing hits for others. He's just rottening away.
